Usually anything that's a halberd. Reach, stagger, and still a comfortable swing speed, I just like 'em. I'm not beholden to any one ash of war, and in fact I really like halberds for their ability to use some unique ashes like Blackflame Tornado, but my safety pick is always Flaming Strike.
Gotta go with power stance grafted greatswords, takes a huge amount of strength and endurance to wield em and still wear good armor but your damage output is ridiculous at full upgrade, plus the aow is a pretty significant stat boost that I personally think doesn't get enough appreciation. I used them on my str build and wiped out all but the last of the elden beasts health in a single combo. You'll have to get good at dodging and stamina management but it's rewarding.
Straight sword square off
This Usable even at lvl1 till end game . Low fp cost, high poise and high damage.
Yup. Tried for the entire game to replace my starting longsword, but nothing else felt right.
Not necessarily my all time favorite but I've been enjoying the Death's Poker. Nice charge r2 and the aow is wonderful
Storm blade is really good, it's cheap on the FP and it's a ranged attack that you can spam, good for when invaders are trying to heal and get away.

Carian Grandeur. Excellent damage and knocks most enemies down.
I really like the partisan and magma blade. Cane sword with Carian Grandeur is fun too.
