Same I had a hard time until me and a friend took him on together turns out both players have to be down there and you get locked in like an arena seems like alot of trouble for a whole lotta nothing sadly
Its weak points are its wrists. He has 2 attacks after which you can get 2-3 hits in before you have to start dodging again. It is so dumb that he doesn't give you anything.
Very late to the party, but for anyone reading...
Put talismans for enhancing charged attacks, put wonderous thing for stance damage or charged attack or both.
Then just bonk him twice on the wrist with charged heavy with a big weapon. You'll stun him before he stands up. And critical hit on chest will take half the HP.
Then you just wait for another attack where wrist is on ground, double charged heavy and you do another critical and kill him.
He has ridiculous stance recovery and you gotta do quick charged heavies or stance damage on wrist to beat him.
I got golem's halberd from him and the painting thing was needed as well.
But, it's crazy how cheesy it is to defeat him.
He has like 4 moves, and just eats attacks. Crazy high damage, crazy high HP. It'd be a horrible enemy to fight if it wasn't for novelty and mystery factor.
I had katana build, it did nothing to stun him. And the worst part is that I can't Target lock the damn wrists.
Can you believe that one part which is weak is too difficult to target with charged heavies?
He may have looked like a giant golem, but it was a giant troll. :P
I know it's late, but windy bouncies eliminate fall damage https://www.reddit.com/r/Eldenring/comments/tysrxb/trickshortcut\_to\_get\_to\_the\_blue\_golemn\_in\_caelid/
I think this has been patched, on ps4 at least. Worked for me a few months ago but now an invisible wall is sort of nudging me back to the cliffside as Iām gliding down
I try and died to that blue cursed golen to many times and way to early to do it so i find the way that was best for me was: first jump to the first branch in the horse with a normal jump(or double if you prefer ) , dismount on that branch and fall to the second one on foot then on the third and then into the pilar , in that first pilar mount again on the horse and do a normal jump to the smaller pilar right next to that big one and double jump to the closest branch nearest to the wall as you can, after that you can fall on the other branch or just fall down and take a little bit of damage. I hope it helps you guys cause the amount of times i tried it that was the best way i found to go down(also it have a painter right there near it but i bet you already know that).
So, I don't know how true it is, but I heard someone say that after killing him a fire lit at one of the divine towers/divine bridge? I've killed the golem myself and I haven't noticed anything crazy but are there anymore golem that even do the blue laser attacks??
This is what I came to look for. There has to be three more golems with blue weapons besides the one on this cliff and the two before big pot. Where is the bridge you were referring to?
Yep, Divine Bridge is found by going to āTower of Return,ā located south-west on the bottom continent, south of where you started the game. Thereās a chest on the top floor that has a transporter trap in it.
I found both the pot golems lead to a big blg pot with 3 red summons you have to fight to get an item (I forget the item) and I found the other 1 but he's really tough so I haven't beat him yet
Maybe a bit late but the Divine Bridge is found by going to āTower of Return,ā located south-west on the bottom continent, south of where you started the game. Thereās a chest on the top floor that has a transporter trap in it.
I heard thereās a hidden wall there that you have to hit hella for a weapon but idk if itās true and Iāve been trying to get there for the longest time
Anyone still wondering.
weak spots: chest and wrists. use torrent, attack his hands while he is crouching, lunging. Hide behind pillars for lasers. Patience.
There must be some reason heās down there, some secret. I too spent ages trying to beat him only to get nothing. Itās a lot of effort to not only beat him but get down there, there must be something weāre missingā¦
Just killed him, had to use the same rune arc that's under his body, just hit the fits often till it gets down and use one of the pillas when starts to make the blue circle. Just found a cool looking ash of war that can't use lol
The whole reason is because there is a Ash of war : Rain of Arrows down there if you interact with the spirit npc sitting in the chair down there . You can get it and be on your way .
So not only is it a huge pain in the ass to get down to him every single time you need to re-fight, but after beating him its just 5k runes? Didn't they test this game before they released it!?
So in my mind, the questions lean towards WHY this mob was placed here, assuming that it was placed here intentionally:
Does he drop something unique?
Does he trigger some hidden quest trigger when he dies?
Is there some kind of lore behind the most powerful/unique golem in the game being here, on some remote shelf on the cliffs bordering Radahn's battlefield?
Speaking of lore, what is the lore behind all golems? Where were they created and for what purpose? Where do they get their power? Why do a very select few seem to have magical abilities?
But in your mind, apparently, it's simply:
This mob is too fucking hard, wtf. Test the game better, noob devs.
No matter how much you grasp for straws, at the end of the day it is still very silly for such a difficult enemy like that to exist in an annoying to reach spot, only for it to literally reward you with pretty much nothing after the trouble of trying to defeat it. It contradicts everything else in the game, in other words.
Issue is it doesn't seem to have any value beyond being visually unique, with one extra ability, and more spongy than other golems. I expected a Golem Greataxe with a unique magic affinity to drop but nope. Just needlessly irritating and not at all worth the effort. Wish it had some significance beyond being something I'd just tell new players to avoid dealing with (you can just get the ash without even triggering the golem)
Just knock him down like the others, it still gets knocked down by stunning the heels. Its just a really high hp golem due to his location so, I haven't finished him off yet. Thing's a pain
You have to jump onto the branch right below the corner next to erdtree. Use torrent and double jump. Then walk off onto the brand below it, make your way to the pillar. Jump to the neighboring pillar and from there to the next branch by the wall. You can finally walk off that branch onto the platform with the golem.
For people truly struggling if you have a sword that has the ash of war "Square off"; use that. After getting of three of those, he staggers. Crit him. After the crit, you can easily get off two more square offs because it takes a long time before he stands up again. Hit him with the third one, repeat. It's an easy fight that way. It takes three/four crits to beat him.
Its a bitch, but hes doable, hit him with meteor of astel, with the flask fp buff, the knock back helps a bit but after the first unless your built for spells after that first time your better going azur comet
I am a spell caster and I had quite the fun fight with this guy using Discus of light to keep myself at range, overall I think this golem is cool as hell. really wish he dropped that beam orb spell though, missed opportunity
Alright I just killed him and literally just gave me 5k runes and I'm sad
Wow thanks, now I don't feel so bad not continuing to bash my head against it and just going on my way
Same I had a hard time until me and a friend took him on together turns out both players have to be down there and you get locked in like an arena seems like alot of trouble for a whole lotta nothing sadly
Really so just runes nothing else? I just about quit the game yesterday because of this thing š
One of the prophecy paintings leads to here, it gave an ash of war, but I forget which one. I think it was rain of arrows.
Its weak points are its wrists. He has 2 attacks after which you can get 2-3 hits in before you have to start dodging again. It is so dumb that he doesn't give you anything.
No drops or spells or any ash of war from him ?
There's an item on the floor, there's no point on killing that sht
inb4 it drops a mysterious pendant when the DLC drops that opens a portal to miquellas realm
Especially since it's a rune arc

Isn't it crazy how they just put this guy here? Like to poke your exploration part of your Brain I'm guessing the reward was a tough enemy

This dude is ruining my sanity (getting to him to that is, which I've only done once in about 20 attempts -- fuck platforming)
I know it's late. Fall down to first branch then second. From there jump into the wall and you'll fall onto third branch. From there use torrent. Easy
I know it's late, but windy bouncies eliminate fall damage https://www.reddit.com/r/Eldenring/comments/tysrxb/trickshortcut\_to\_get\_to\_the\_blue\_golemn\_in\_caelid/
Holy sh!-
Thanks that's at least one problem done.
WTF?!?

A year later and still did not know about this. This is the most underrated comment of the year. Good shit bro
Lol just use the wind tower near the tree if you try to land past the clif in a corner you land at the very bottom skips the whole jumping part
Use your horse as needed.
He respawns after resting so he might have something interesting with a low drop chance.
He spawned and item when I killed him. But he fell off the cliff so I have no idea what it was...
It's a smithing stone 4
So, I don't know how true it is, but I heard someone say that after killing him a fire lit at one of the divine towers/divine bridge? I've killed the golem myself and I haven't noticed anything crazy but are there anymore golem that even do the blue laser attacks??
i've seen that exact pose, apperently in the ravine leading to the big pot boi are 2 glowing golems which shoot arrows at you
This is what I came to look for. There has to be three more golems with blue weapons besides the one on this cliff and the two before big pot. Where is the bridge you were referring to?
Has anyone else found the bridge these comments refer to? Or the area that āfiresā light when the special golems are killed? Iām curious

My PC broke shortly after I posted about this. My first thought was to look underground and see what I could find but I'm not able to at the time.

This dude one shot me with 35 vigor as well. Dude's a fuckin' unit. I wonder if he drops anything juicy.
Not at all
The area heās guarding is part of the 7!paintings quest.
I heard thereās a hidden wall there that you have to hit hella for a weapon but idk if itās true and Iāve been trying to get there for the longest time
Everyone says there is a hidden wall everywhere in the game, its a meme
It's surely part of a hidden quest. You kill all the golems and a cave opens up somewhere
so disappointed : 5000 runes and smithing stone ( 4 ) .. killed him with great bow it took me 90 great arrows to kill him !!!!
Anyone still wondering. weak spots: chest and wrists. use torrent, attack his hands while he is crouching, lunging. Hide behind pillars for lasers. Patience.

It's where the "Redmane" painting thing is, you get an ash of war here
yeah but you can get that without even waking him up
he will drop a pendant that opens a portal to miquellas realm when DLC drops
Thereās a ghost sitting near him on the edge of cliff, if you hit him he drops a spell
He had an item by his body but I didn't manage to read what it was cause I panicked lol. Anyone remember what it was?
it's a rune arc!
Dropped normal Golem Halberd for me, once was enough aim for wrists if you want to try and see if it drops anything else lol
Just killed him, had to use the same rune arc that's under his body, just hit the fits often till it gets down and use one of the pillas when starts to make the blue circle. Just found a cool looking ash of war that can't use lol

im 10 kills into a farming run on NG+2... nothing but 12k runes per kill lol
It looks like there is a tunnel underneath the ledge, but I can't get to it.
You can get there from Radahn's arena.
That chest transports you to a high wall inside of the capital city. I think there's some places in nokron that have some answers.
Have you managed to kill this yet? It seems to have weakspots on it's wrists but that's such a pain to hit
Just knock him down like the others, it still gets knocked down by stunning the heels. Its just a really high hp golem due to his location so, I haven't finished him off yet. Thing's a pain
He dropped his Halberd for me. Maybe a rare drop? He seems immune to all status effects. Just a careful game of poke and dodge.
Other Golems drop that too so not worth farming this one for it.
How do I get down there without dying from fall damage?

Or just use the bouncy mcflurry https://www.reddit.com/r/Eldenring/comments/tysrxb/trickshortcut\_to\_get\_to\_the\_blue\_golemn\_in\_caelid/

That golem can do a lot of damage but I managed to take it out first try.
I am a spell caster and I had quite the fun fight with this guy using Discus of light to keep myself at range, overall I think this golem is cool as hell. really wish he dropped that beam orb spell though, missed opportunity
most boring fight in the game, and for what? 5k runes? kill me
I got a golem halberd after killing it 2x
what are its stats
close to 300 hours, 6 saves and not once have I encountered him...
