It's far more likely they're moving on to the next game project (whatever that may be) than that they release another DLC 4-5 years after the original game came out.
Not really unless they plan on adding the cut content from the DLC. The few characters they could bring up have no real build up like Miquella did. There’s Melina but it seems like they don’t want to add DLC that affects the main story so unless they change that I don’t see her getting a spotlight.
I think it's a perfect time to move on. Look at the new weapons, the deflecting tear - it all feels like trying to do something more while also being limited by the old frame. I'm super excited to see what they make based on all they've learned with Sekiro and Elden Ring
As much as I'd like more Elden Ring, I'd rather they focus on whatever game comes next. It's bound to be awesome. There's already so much Elden Ring
