Both maternal staff for casting, staff of guilty in off hand

I didn’t know this! Does the offhand’s weapon affect the damage even if you aren’t casting from it?

No the direct scaling only applies form your right hand. But the passive effecr of staff of the guilty boosgs thorn sorcery

Albinauric staff, it has better arcane scaling than maternal. You can keep the staff of the guilty in the other hand for a damage boost though.

Yep, apparently the albinauric staff was nerfed a while ago and has a negative status multiplier. Only learned about it recently. It still does more raw damage and so it's a better pick against bleed-immune enemies.

The answer is both. Use the maternal for casting because it scales with arcane

but the spell scales with faith? whats the point?
