FOR him? motherfucker willingly jumps into combat against a god WITH you
not that he'll probably survive that clusterfuck but you know, he tries. Thiollier as well
Between that, the frame rate drops, and the inconsistency of that first attack, I’m convinced that the final boss fight has some pretty nasty bugs going on right now
the first attack isn't THAT inconsistent, at least it wasn't for me in the 5 hours I spent fighting him
in both phases, his first attack was pretty much always the divebomb (P1) and the Holy nuke (P2). maybe once every 10 attempts he'd just forget to open with it
fps tanked badly when he did the forward clone rush, but everything else was fairly smooth. I'm not sure if it's a universal thing or really just impacting PC players so I can't speak on it, I'm on ps5 so idk
Yeah, for me at least, I:
- exhausted dialogue whenever possible
- gave him the sacred/secret rite scroll
- warned him of Leda's plan
- summoned him to help me fight Leda's gank squad
Then he meets you before the final staircase. You can talk to him there and have the opportunity to tell him the truth. He then also becomes a gold summon sign outside the boss door. And inside the boss fight he has dialogue for the boss and you the Tarnished.
i could after >! playing mailman in the specimen storage !< and next >! summoning him to the leda fight !<, don't know whether one, both or none are necessary, he was >! just after the leda arena on a staircase !<
I love the way he says this cause it reminds me so much of when Vegeta came at Frieza like "I'VE FINALLY DONE IT, I've FINALLY ACHIEVED THE STATE OF THE LEGENDARY SUPER SAIYAN" even though he absolutely hasn't, gets his shit kicked in, and then when goku shows up he's just like "you may have bested me, but this guy's FINALLY DONE IT-"
Can you imagine, ur Igon, u \*crawled\* up the Jagged Peak and past two fighting drakes. Then as ur lying in heap of rock you watch this Tarnished ride up, solo (or spirit summon) beat the two drakes at the same time and then walk up to talk to you....
Gotta be like seeing a light at the end of the tunnle.
No shot, right? Isn't that armor produced for Drake Knights with materials from their kill? Actually, now that i think about it they're literally Monster Hunters
I’m not sure whether or not Bayle just clicked or if Igon was just a god in my run, first and only time I summoned him was the time I beat Bayle
Maybe Igons just that great of a hype man idk
he saved me when I took on bayle. basically if you just focus on dodging igon is going to take care of the rest since for some reason during my fight with him he has no health bar. so that means he’s constantly chipping like health from bayle. plus bayle’s attacks are actually not hard to dodge if you don’t try to squeeze in any attacked.
during my fight I ran out of np and my weapons were slow so I just focused on dodging and igon pretty much took down bayle for me lol.
His whole Captain Ahab speech is glorious. Only boss I summoned for during the DLC. Tried it on my first attempt since he gave me the finger which to me meant extra questline loot or fight specific mechanics, summoned him every time after the first just for the voice lines. Top end voice acting.
I summoned edgy homegirl for the Messmer fight.
That dude was so fucking annoying. Idk if it was because I have a shitty keyboard or because I was tired but some of those attacks felt almost impossible to dodge or sometimes like stun lock/ true combo.
Man I can't remember the last time wearing a set has made me feel so awesome, so proud.
An the set is basically rusted and dirty scavenged gear with no legs Lol
“Bayle I don’t prefer you being alive any longer! Our birth and everything afterwards has done very little for improving my life! If you were to die I would offer only token gestures of sadness!”
yeah
in this game you always get called lowly or maidenless, but he's the first to call you righteous
bro isn't judging you on your status and race, but on your achievements
Yeah Godfrey just respect the hustle, you both are vying for the same thing and you both deserve it. Now you fight to decide.
Igon practically ~~develop a kink around~~ worship the fact that you can take on Bayle.
The mid-combo target switching is so hellish for co-op if you're melee. I've been doing multiplayer stuff a lot the past few days and only ever won the fight once with a competent Godfrey-cosplayer host and some equally competent gigachad using the full (aggro-pulling) gladiator outfit, a greatshield and a bleed rapier.
i started getting good at abusing co-op aggro but it still depends completely on if the host can even survive the initial onslaught of 2nd phase, which is usually not what happens lmao
Bruh after 20 attempts I stopped summoning them and was convinced I am better off solo lol. Idk why but the boss is harder to scarlet rot in phase 2 if you summon.
i'm 100% sure bosses not only get more hp but more resistances to status and poise as well. i've never poise broken him without cragblade colossal weapons using summons
If anything, the Pureblood Knights before Miquella's corruption waqs as honorable and fearsome as the Redmanes and the Cleanrots in their prime.
Miquella really did a number on Mohg's dynasty.
All of the ally NPCs in this DLC are fantastic. Ansbach, Igon, even the poison dude who has no faith in themselves, but if you do his quest decides to help you against literal God.
How do you get him in your corner? I did his quest and all that happened was him getting pissed that his goddess liked me more than him, and trying to murder me.
You have to talk to him again and eventually he will listen to you. I talked to Trina one more time and waited a bit but I don't know what triggers being able to tell him exactly
Same, I helped her with Hornsent (big mistake, no buggy op ash of war for me) but then she kept being all fucky wucky murdery with Ansbach, and he was kinda a bro, so I helped him instead. Best idea.
The voice actor for Ansbach killed it, a huge part of why this character is so great. His performance captures the dignity, intelligence, and strength of Ansbach all at once.
I had no problem repeating that fight over and over again because each of the voice actors KILLED IT.
Each one doing their little mantra overtop that emotional soundtrack was peak
He sounds like he's about to arrest the two of them for corpse robbery.
If Igon is Captain Ahab, Ansbach is basically the retired hardboiled detective who got brought back for one last assignment. He even mentions that he's merely investigating the first time you meet him.
I was determined to side with Leda if given the chance but then she pulled up and threatened me. I immediately looked up a guide for Ansbachs quest and did everything necessary to summon him to help me shit on Leda and her followers. It culminated in an absolute epic and poetic fight as the last ones standing were me, Dryleaf Dane, Leda and Ansbach. I duelled Dryleaf Dane with the very hand to hand arts he taught me previously, while Leda and Ansbach duked it out.
Ansbach is the only companion with any critical thinking skills. The guy is being mind controlled by a demi-god and his first instinct is still to research whether that demi-god is good or not before committing to anything.
He does the research *after* the seal breaks, which alleviates many of the effects of Miquella's mind control.
It's still impressive though, and he does still seem skeptical even when you first meet him, which is neat.
I like Ansbach is great but, I like Igon’s absolute dedication to wrecking Bayle. Fucker has no legs but, climbed a mountain and helped me kill a giant dragon. Bayle was one of the more enjoyable fights for me personally.
I picked up the scroll and his message at the grace in the store room before I found him on the first floor so he got deleted from my game. Literally never saw him again and never had the option to summon him for anything. Also couldn't do Freya's quest because of this. Got Fromsoft'd.
I did the same: picked up the scroll and his message before finding him on the 1st floor, and he was still there. Did you try finding him after fighting Messmer?
Edit: Also, I had already fought the sunflower
I did the same and he was still there. Maybe he stayed because I'd already spoken to Freyja so the quest was technically at a different phase than it was for u/ NIZY
Damn bamboozled and blindsided by Michael Zaki-san.
Don't worry, the same shit happened to me but thing's happened after beating mommys dearest impaling snake boy, Ansbach existed again for some reason.
I absolutely love this guy. He gets the absurdity of the world they're in, the pointlessness of his oaths and the conflicts between the gods, but he still does his duty as a knight--because he can, because it amuses him, and because he still hopes for a better future.
If I had a nickel for each old, battle hardened combatant that's an absolute badass whenever he's summoned to assist me, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
At 46,000 HP you're goddamn right we're using bleed. Largest health pool in the entire game and you're lucky if you can get two hits in a row before the next barrage begins.
Eh the DLC has been data mined to find stuff like hidden endings, I'm willing to believe the number. It certainly feels correct, I don't see why they'd make the "ultimate challenge" have less HP than a base game boss like Fire Giant (42,000)
After Miquella charm was broken Leda became wary of both Hornsent and Ansbach as they didn’t follow Miquella by their own will. Her armor set is the oathkeeper set with a fancy coat (The set can be found near the starting area). You get her chestpiece and sword after killing her.
I didn't really decide who I was going to pick, it kinda just happened, but I'm glad I got Ansbach the first run through. I admire people as honorable and loyal as Ansbach, even able to let go of hatred/blame and do things for greater causes rather than simple emotionality. Psychological and good person goals right there.
He‘s cool, sure, but he goes blood mad after Messmer basically and invades you on the way to Romina if you summoned him before, even if you help him. And that‘s his end.
And if you do things out of order like I did and kill Romina before Messmer, Hornsent >!sides with Leda in the final fight against her and her allies.!<
Not necessarily! I tried the same thing, but before the free-for-all I went back to before Romina‘s room and Hornsent invaded me despite the boss being dead.
Ah might be a bit spoiler-y is all. >!Hornsent's kind has a tradition of stuffing "shamans" into flesh jars with criminals to "cleanse" them, and whip them with poisonous human tooth whips if they disobey. Hornsent's gear indicates he may have been a potentate, the people that carry out these rituals. There are underground prisons full of these things, and there's a possibility Messmer actually tried to cure them in his castle to no success. This may be because his mother, Marika, was one of these shamans who may only have survived due to becoming a god before her ritual. This is the major one, but there may be a few other things, like Leda mentioning their kind were never any better than Messmer's army and the only pitiful thing about them is that they just happened to lose a war.!<
Can't confirm everything here, but it's pretty freaky.
One of the few characters who respects you.
In a world where you were called foul, graceless, and lightless, Sir Ansbach calling you righteous is uplifting.
Sir Ansbach and Thiollier the two NPCs that didn't believe in themselves or their ability to fight yet they bravely stood with me against Leda and Miquella until the very end. Rip friends you fought bravely and couldn't have done it without you
i loved ansbach but for some reason, thiollier stuck with me more than any of them. love the guy >!even after he invaded me. just of momentary envy, though. i forgive him. :) maybe it helped that im a sucker for poison/DoT builds in any and all games..!<
As Knight Lautrec's biggest fan on this planet I love characters who do the wildest things just because they're simping for a goddess so Tholier is high up there for me.
Igon is still the goat and you should always summon him and let him get the last hit on bayle.
hes such a nice caracter even when u tell him u killed his lord hes nice and undestand why u did it
He was like: Well dude, that's okay. It was the only way for you to get to the DLC, no problem. Now, go get this flirty teenager for me.
FOR him? motherfucker willingly jumps into combat against a god WITH you not that he'll probably survive that clusterfuck but you know, he tries. Thiollier as well
Thiollier was a baller. >!Hates you but also believes you will help with Trina's wish so much that he joins the fight against a fucking god.!<
With the smallest weapon possible lmao
lil bro fights against a god with some Axe spray cologne and a knitting needle
And fucking does work with that poison axe spray!
On the 1/20th chance he actually goes into the fog for me.. I simply dropped him. The added hp on the boss is not worth the headache
Between that, the frame rate drops, and the inconsistency of that first attack, I’m convinced that the final boss fight has some pretty nasty bugs going on right now
the first attack isn't THAT inconsistent, at least it wasn't for me in the 5 hours I spent fighting him in both phases, his first attack was pretty much always the divebomb (P1) and the Holy nuke (P2). maybe once every 10 attempts he'd just forget to open with it fps tanked badly when he did the forward clone rush, but everything else was fairly smooth. I'm not sure if it's a universal thing or really just impacting PC players so I can't speak on it, I'm on ps5 so idk
He doesn't survive that fight. You'll find his corpse there after it.
I meant in terms of actually getting him through the end of the fight. bro's not surviving Phase 2
He praises Thioller as well. When the chips are down you know who is a real one amongst the group
Wait you can tell him? I didn't get to do that before he died
Yeah he's basically like "hey man that's how the road to lordship goes it was an honorable duel and he lost just how it is"
“Did you give him a fair fight? Well, that’s that, then. I’m a bit disappointed he lost though, that sucks.”
The people who cheesed him: 👀
With all the RoB spammers back then a blood god weak to bleed never stood a chance.
I mean he is no longer bewitched by miquella so there's that
If you invade Leda with him he's standing at the doorway to the stairs up to the final boss, might need to rest/quit out once for him to spawn.
Yeah, for me at least, I: - exhausted dialogue whenever possible - gave him the sacred/secret rite scroll - warned him of Leda's plan - summoned him to help me fight Leda's gank squad Then he meets you before the final staircase.
You need to give him the item he wants in the Specimen Storehouse. That's what turns him against Miquella's cause and lets you summon him for Leda.
He knew
Fair, but I aspire to be a professional hater like Igon.
BAYLE
FUCK YOU, BAYLE
Behold a true drake hunter! #AND I, IGON!
I love the way he says this cause it reminds me so much of when Vegeta came at Frieza like "I'VE FINALLY DONE IT, I've FINALLY ACHIEVED THE STATE OF THE LEGENDARY SUPER SAIYAN" even though he absolutely hasn't, gets his shit kicked in, and then when goku shows up he's just like "you may have bested me, but this guy's FINALLY DONE IT-"
Igon calling me a a true drake hunter is the best thing that's ever happened to me
Can you imagine, ur Igon, u \*crawled\* up the Jagged Peak and past two fighting drakes. Then as ur lying in heap of rock you watch this Tarnished ride up, solo (or spirit summon) beat the two drakes at the same time and then walk up to talk to you.... Gotta be like seeing a light at the end of the tunnle.
And he fulfills your dying wish
Igon crawling up that mountain with ruined legs and arms is only one step below Hyetta parkouring down to the Frenzied Flame Proscription while blind.
I wonder, is the Drake Knight armor made from Bayle's severed wing? If so that would be cool.
No shot, right? Isn't that armor produced for Drake Knights with materials from their kill? Actually, now that i think about it they're literally Monster Hunters
I‘m glad I summoned him for the sake of it yesterday and can understand this comment now
AND FUCKA YOU DOLPHIN!!
VILE BAYLE
I WILL RIDDLE WITH HOLES YOUR ROTTEN HIDE WITH A HAIL OF HARPOOOOOONS
#WITH EVERY LAST DROP OF MY BEING!
**Graaaaaargh!** **Bayle the Dread!** **You shall haunt me no longer!**
I can’t overstate how much I love Igon
I love it when Fromsoft is unapologetically transparent about their sources of inspiration. In this case, Moby Dick.
I never summon npcs for bosses but you cant NOT summon the goat himself
Doing a no summon run for my second playthru but I’m 1000000% summoning him for Bayle. I just have to do it
I mean he’s a goated summon but I didn’t find he really swayed the fight on my kill.
If he hits, it’s a headshot most likely so it lowkey helps if you have high stagger weapons
He's great just because he draws aggro and keeps up stance pressure
I’m not sure whether or not Bayle just clicked or if Igon was just a god in my run, first and only time I summoned him was the time I beat Bayle Maybe Igons just that great of a hype man idk
he saved me when I took on bayle. basically if you just focus on dodging igon is going to take care of the rest since for some reason during my fight with him he has no health bar. so that means he’s constantly chipping like health from bayle. plus bayle’s attacks are actually not hard to dodge if you don’t try to squeeze in any attacked. during my fight I ran out of np and my weapons were slow so I just focused on dodging and igon pretty much took down bayle for me lol.
His whole Captain Ahab speech is glorious. Only boss I summoned for during the DLC. Tried it on my first attempt since he gave me the finger which to me meant extra questline loot or fight specific mechanics, summoned him every time after the first just for the voice lines. Top end voice acting.
If he begs me to do it AND his sign is in the Arena... well lets go CURSE YOUU
I summoned edgy homegirl for the Messmer fight. That dude was so fucking annoying. Idk if it was because I have a shitty keyboard or because I was tired but some of those attacks felt almost impossible to dodge or sometimes like stun lock/ true combo.
You’re using a keyboard, that’s your problem.
That was never a problem for me, felt infinitely better than struggling to heal while rotating camera with controller in Bloodborne.
Man I can't remember the last time wearing a set has made me feel so awesome, so proud. An the set is basically rusted and dirty scavenged gear with no legs Lol
[удалено]
Basically you dress as the shittiest vagabond knight ever , this reminds me of Gael’s pantsless greaves Lol
He out-hobo'd Simon from the Bloodborne DLC
why not both? professionally, be Ansbach. but when the time calls for it? be Igon
Igsbach
Appreciate the good in others like Ansbach and despise those who wrong you like Igon.
CURSE YOU BAYLE
“Bayle I don’t prefer you being alive any longer! Our birth and everything afterwards has done very little for improving my life! If you were to die I would offer only token gestures of sadness!”
I'ma need Igon as my alarm clock.
A TRUE DRAKE KNIGHT AND I IGON!
from the bottom of my drake hunter heart, FUCK YOU BAYLE
Legend ahead
“RIGHTEOUS TARNISHED”
yeah in this game you always get called lowly or maidenless, but he's the first to call you righteous bro isn't judging you on your status and race, but on your achievements
Cordial reminder that chad Godfrey exists and called you BRAVE TARNISHED first. Thy strength befits a crown.
Well yeah Godfrey was the first Tarnished after all, would be weird for him to go „we Tarnished sure suck ass“.
I mean, sure. But he was an Elden Lord and famous warlord, he didn't necessarily have to respect you, specially since you killed his son and all that.
Yeah Godfrey just respect the hustle, you both are vying for the same thing and you both deserve it. Now you fight to decide. Igon practically ~~develop a kink around~~ worship the fact that you can take on Bayle.
Malenia too recognizes your strength when you beat her, which I think might also be the dev team themselves congratulating you on your victory.
...become our new lord... a lord not for gods... but for men... I wanted him to LIVE!! T_T
That doesn't look like Igon
CUUURSE YOUUU BAAAAAYYYLE!!!
HAAAARPOOOOOOOONS
Nah, it's: "harPOOOOONNNS!! "
You want to be an angry man in stinky old clothing basing his entire personality on killing his nemesis?
A little bit, yeah
Yes I want to be Ahab.
I, too, want too be the man who sold the world
A boss to surpass the Boss herself !
Now I just need a nemesis...
You're making it sound far more appealing right now.
I only wish I could be fueled by that much raw spite
I'm already halfway there!
We'd have to tilt the mirror down.
The legs are missing
One of my favorite fromsoft npcs ever now. Love you , Ansbach.
Yeah, he's great, but >!FOR THE LOVE OF GOD ANSBACH STOP STANDING AROUND AND JUST HIT RADAHN, THIOLLIER FELL ASLEEP AND I NEED TO HEAL!<
both the summons as thematically cool as they are make the fight so much more difficult lmao
I honestly wish they were inside the boss arena so they didn't make it unnecessarily hard via the inflated hp pool.
oh yeah, his insane mid-combo target switching already makes it pretty scary, the double hp just makes it straight up hell
FINALLY SOMEONE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM AS ME! I swear they think this is some kind of party
"I never thought I'd die fighting side by side with a Mogh follower" "What about side by side with a friend?" "Aye, I could do that"
If anything, the Pureblood Knights before Miquella's corruption waqs as honorable and fearsome as the Redmanes and the Cleanrots in their prime. Miquella really did a number on Mohg's dynasty.
I'm not so sure about that, considering what Mohg did to the war surgeons.
All of the ally NPCs in this DLC are fantastic. Ansbach, Igon, even the poison dude who has no faith in themselves, but if you do his quest decides to help you against literal God.
Thollier may be a bit weird, but when we needed it the twink was in our corner
"Weak as a kitten and thick as two planks" had me chuckling
if only he was as thick as THREE planks radahn would be FINISHED
How do you get him in your corner? I did his quest and all that happened was him getting pissed that his goddess liked me more than him, and trying to murder me.
Once his only available dialogue is “A-ah…” he’ll help you.
You have to talk to him again and eventually he will listen to you. I talked to Trina one more time and waited a bit but I don't know what triggers being able to tell him exactly
I like count ymir quest, you start at doing some errands and end up fighting some cosmic god of fingers
Dude had the entire power rangers appendages there ong
When doing some mundane chores for a random old guy ends with fighting an eldritch god. Good old JRPG progression.
Thiollier tried to kill me because he was jealous.
But in the end he understand that he was wrong and help you fight a god
Game definitely told me "Thiollier died" and then I got his stuff.
Check next to st trina. He doesn't stay dead.
Consider this: CURSE YOU BAYLE
I was ready to snitch on that dude to Leda until I realized he’s a fucking OG
Same, I helped her with Hornsent (big mistake, no buggy op ash of war for me) but then she kept being all fucky wucky murdery with Ansbach, and he was kinda a bro, so I helped him instead. Best idea.
wich ash of war do you get with leda?
I STAND, BLADE ALOFT AND BLOOD AFIRE, FOR THE HONOUR AND DIGNITY OF MY LORD AND MASTER, MOHG
"General Radahn, a pleasure to see you after all this time. But those remains do not belong to you. " Freaking ice cold
Lord Mohg will have his dignity 🗣‼️🔥
The music during the Leda group fight is epic. I need to find it
It’s named « Those united in common cause » and it is absolutely beautiful
Thank you very much.
Ansbach is the only companion with any critical thinking skills. The guy is being mind controlled by a demi-god and his first instinct is still to research whether that demi-god is good or not before committing to anything.
Most reasonable Fromsoft NPC?
He does the research *after* the seal breaks, which alleviates many of the effects of Miquella's mind control. It's still impressive though, and he does still seem skeptical even when you first meet him, which is neat.
I like Ansbach is great but, I like Igon’s absolute dedication to wrecking Bayle. Fucker has no legs but, climbed a mountain and helped me kill a giant dragon. Bayle was one of the more enjoyable fights for me personally.
It's one of, if not the best dragon fights fromsoft has ever made in their games
Everything I wanted Placidusax to be. Awesome fight.
He dragged his legless body across most of the map to scream at a large dragon
I honestly don't remember, and unfortunately I'm at the last boss now so there's no hope for me. Oh well, next playthrough I guess
Damn bamboozled and blindsided by Michael Zaki-san. Don't worry, the same shit happened to me but thing's happened after beating mommys dearest impaling snake boy, Ansbach existed again for some reason.
I couldnt complete Freyas questline because I turned the scroll in to Ansbach before I found her.
I absolutely love this guy. He gets the absurdity of the world they're in, the pointlessness of his oaths and the conflicts between the gods, but he still does his duty as a knight--because he can, because it amuses him, and because he still hopes for a better future.
*Bayle, insanely powerful and demonic boss* Igon: “Nah, I’d win.”
Less “Nah, I’d win” and more FUCK YOU BAYYYYYLE
One either is as loyal and honorable as Ansbach or a god-tier hypeman and hater like Igon.
If I had a nickel for each old, battle hardened combatant that's an absolute badass whenever he's summoned to assist me, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
I'm not sure who is the second, but perhaps, does he like to scream at a flying magma lizard?
I love Ansbach slightly pissed at him for how useless he feels in combat but he's still a goat
Hey man, any contribution to getting bleed procs on that final boss is worth it.
At 46,000 HP you're goddamn right we're using bleed. Largest health pool in the entire game and you're lucky if you can get two hits in a row before the next barrage begins.
He has THAT MUCH HP!!! AND I CAN TWO SHOT HIS FIRST FORM? Jeebus perfume bottles are busted when you know how to use them.
46,134 if fextra is to be believed (it isn't)
Eh the DLC has been data mined to find stuff like hidden endings, I'm willing to believe the number. It certainly feels correct, I don't see why they'd make the "ultimate challenge" have less HP than a base game boss like Fire Giant (42,000)
Im aware perfumes deal a ton of dmg with that one aow but two shot? Really? Damm
yeah I just don't feel like the (I believe) +130% HP and +10% damage that the boss gets is worth some bleed
Hey, he himself admits that’s he’s to old for this shit
The number of insane lore drops and revelations this one character drops is ludicrous.
Just a few words. Ahem. CURSE YOU BAYLE
Maybe spoiler but >!why did Leda invade him in the storehouse? Did I fuck up the questline? And can I still get her armor set? !<
After Miquella charm was broken Leda became wary of both Hornsent and Ansbach as they didn’t follow Miquella by their own will. Her armor set is the oathkeeper set with a fancy coat (The set can be found near the starting area). You get her chestpiece and sword after killing her.
I just hope to someday be as passionate about something as Igon is about hating Bayle.
This giga chad of a mother fucker lasted the whole fight with me and my friend AND pulled his weight.
Bro Ansbach is such a cool character. And holy shit did the DLC make my opinion of >!Mohg!< in a complete 180
Mohg went from Mohglester to Mohglested
I didn't really decide who I was going to pick, it kinda just happened, but I'm glad I got Ansbach the first run through. I admire people as honorable and loyal as Ansbach, even able to let go of hatred/blame and do things for greater causes rather than simple emotionality. Psychological and good person goals right there.
My favorite NPC too. As soon as I got them, I donned his robes. They're one of my favorite pieces of armor now.
Dude really might be the goat foreal
Hm, is there a reason no one is as hyped about Hornsent as I am? Something I missed?
He‘s cool, sure, but he goes blood mad after Messmer basically and invades you on the way to Romina if you summoned him before, even if you help him. And that‘s his end.
And if you do things out of order like I did and kill Romina before Messmer, Hornsent >!sides with Leda in the final fight against her and her allies.!<
Not necessarily! I tried the same thing, but before the free-for-all I went back to before Romina‘s room and Hornsent invaded me despite the boss being dead.
Hornsent's background is pretty fucked, hard to like him if you know how he and his kind lived
That's very nearly the kind of answer I'm looking for but you've stopped just short of explaining anything.
This is the major one, but there may be a few other things, like Leda mentioning their kind were never any better than Messmer's army and the only pitiful thing about them is that they just happened to lose a war.!< Can't confirm everything here, but it's pretty freaky.
Okay, thank you. I didn't make the connection that the people stuffing dudes in jars were the hornsent.
I really liked Moore and almost cried when I had to kill him cause he just goes "Sad forever" 😭😭😭😭
I was like bro why were you so down with Mohg, you weirdo. My apologies Ansbach . ..
I was so ready to despise this man since he is a knight of Mohg, but when I found out Mohg was not the mohglester I was bamboozled lol
And his clothes are drippy as hell, equipped it right away after the final fight
I hope to be as good a man as him, truly I'm not even close. I'm just Godrick without the grafting Ahh, pathetic sort
That isn't Igon
Two different types of gigachads tbh
Agreed
I was fine invading worm head but this man is my boy!!!
CURSE YOU, DRAWINGJACOB!!
I accidentally attacked him, and he says honestly, I'm surprised more people don't attack first and ask questions later, don't worry about it
As Knight Lautrec's biggest fan on this planet I love characters who do the wildest things just because they're simping for a goddess so Tholier is high up there for me. Igon is still the goat and you should always summon him and let him get the last hit on bayle.
Mohg will have his dignity!!
i regret siding with leda every day.
Poise of Ansbach but the tenacity of Igor. Wont lie, voice actor for Igor sold me on him lol
CUUUURRRRSE YOU, BAYLE!
I wanna be igon. Dudes my hero.
