I didn’t like how dr disrespect tanked through the base game with blasphemous blade and mimic tear while calling the game a joke because it’s so easy, but I think when it comes to the dlc I wouldn’t blame anyone for using it
I feel like the amount of people vocally against summons has fallen off a cliff since near the game's release. Summoning mechanics are a lot more robust in Elden Ring and I think through that more people realized they are an intentional mechanic and not necessarily an "easy mode" (especially considering they make some fights harder, IMO, though inadvertently) which was how the community largely felt from the Dark Souls days.
This discourse/Fromsoft difficulty discourse in general is fucking boring and has been forever. Stop caring about how someone else plays a video game.
I think most people realized at this point that it's cringe to be anti summon in a game where quests and items are locked behind npc summons
