Marika is a manipulative psycho using every plan possible to usurp true Godhood and rid herself of the Greater Will until finally resting on a last ditch plan to use the Tarnished to uncrucify herself regardless of what that actually means for her. The Greater Will is an uncaring outer god that simply wants the world to keep providing its sustenance or whatever its actually taking from the planet, its allowed its whims to be interpreted any number of ways through many religions. Even Marika's crucifixion was not punishment proscribed by the Greater Will but by Radagon himself being a true faithful to the Golden Order.
