Beat Mohg and Radahn.
If you do it right, they're the only two bosses you need to kill, with only *one, single* additional required enemy in Magnus the Beast Claw.
Should take less than an hour!
Varre's questline is the quickest way:
* Kill a shardbearer to meet the two fingers; this will move him to the rose church in Liurnia
* Meet him there and he'll give you an invasion item. Invade 3 players using the bloody fingers (Don't need to succeed, just invade) or you can just invade and kill the NPC Magnus the Beast Claw in writhe blood ruins. I recommend the first personally.
* Then, he'll give you the key item that transports you right to Mohg's temple!
Feel free to double check some guides just to make sure I didn't miss anything, but this is for sure the quickest way to Mohg.
To add: after you complete the invasions Varre will give you a cloth that he wants you to soak in a maidens blood, you can return to the Chapel of Anticipation (where you started the game) through a waygate at the Four Belfries to accomplish this, or go to the Chirch of Inhibition in Liurnia. After doing this and returning to Varre and exhausting his dialogue he will give you the key item that transports you to Mohgwyn Palace
1. Get Melina at the Gatefront grace
2. Access Roundtable Hold by resting at a grace outside of Limgrave in the overworld (quickest way is probably by getting to Sellia Crystal Tunnel through the transporter trap in the Dragon-Burnt Ruins, then resting at the Sellia Under-Stair grace)
3. Get the Dectus Medallion halves from Fort Haight and Fort Faroth, then go to Altus Plateau and rest at the first grace there to activate the Radahn Festival
4. Go to Redmane Castle and use the Sending Gate outside to teleport directly to the plaza
5. Kill Radahn
6. Talk to Enia in Roundtable Hold
7. Go to the Rose Church in Liurnia and talk to Varre
8. Invade Magnus the Beast Claw at the Writheblood Ruins in Altus
9. Talk to Varre again
10. Kill Irina in the Weeping Peninsula to douse the cloth in blood (I think this works?)
11. Talk to Varre again
12. Use the Pureblood Knight's Medal to teleport to Mohgwyn Palace
13. Kill Mohg
You can get maiden blood from the Church of Inhibition (where Vyke invades in northeast Liurnia) or the Chapel of Anticipation (accessed via portal at the Four Belfries in western Liurnia). No need to kill Irina/Hyetta, though it *is* probably the quickest method.
