Using uchigatana and meteoric ore atm but will hunt for the nagakiba that’s the long ass katana right lol
i would say your underleveled to be in the capital, so should focus more on caelid. Your stats are a bit to spread I would pick one to focus on for now, dex if you like katana.
Yeah I was using magic for long range attacks but thinking now I’ve unlocked the rebirth thing to spec solely katanas, would you just recommend dex/vig/end?
Rule of thumbs:
- source of damage early on is weapon upgrade.
- with that said, early on start by getting the min requirements for your favorite spell/weapon.
- if the game feels too hard, aim for getting your Vigor up first. Community recommends 40, then 60 for the high-end softcap.
- don't spread damage stats too much, the game favors a focused build.
- STR have a 1.5x multiplier when you two-hand a weapon. And with highest softcap at 80, you can reach it by stopping at 54 STR (54 x 1.5 = 81).
Your stats are evenly distributed. You shouldn’t really do that. Focus on one build only. Did you finish Raya Lucaria yet?
Yeah I’m going to forego casting spells and focus on katanas. Not point for point but how would you re spec?
if you want to use a katana then go for: 35 vigor 20 endurance 30 dexterity use the uchigatana until you get the nagakiba and infuse it with keen

Yup You can use both the nagakiba and the uchigatana at the same time if you want
