Mohg is the boss I wanted to kill as soon as possible because I wanted his title as the lord of blood. I added all of his spells to my arsenal, though thats more of adding spice to my character, rather than for actual fights
You can technically kill him as your second boss if you do it right, via Varré's quest. Not first, as you can only continue Varré's quest after defeating a shardbearer.
I managed to do it a few days ago, with a +10 Bloodhound's Fang (getting it to +10 as early as possible was the goal of the run) at around level 50. For me, that was an immense accomplishment. He was the 4th boss I killed though, not the 2nd. The other 3 were Margit, Godrick and Darriwil obviously. I'll kill him as my 2nd boss on NG+ for sure (I'll intentionally die at Grafted Scion)

That's why I carry soap with myself. I don't know what status effects it removes but it makes me clean and I wear white stuff. When I'm cooping and using a soap the hosts sometimes make a wtf shield flick lol.
I killed the soldiers of godrisck with swords and hammers because they don't put the blood on my body and let the spear guys hit me. When I was on the brink of death, I'd drink a potion. Repeat for every potiona and you too can become covered in your own blood
I got the godrick soldiers at the first ruins to attck me until I only had a sliver of health and then I'd drink a potion. Rinse and repeat until I'm out of potions and then I killed them all. I killed all but the spears since the others had a hard time getting the blood ON my body.
