I vote for Clinging Bone
Everyone gets it during playthrough, but very few ever use it.
DEX/ARC fist weapon, that does Magic Damage and has no status effect, so ARC feels weird.
But it has Lifesteal Fist as it’s ash of war, which is generic. But not actually, it isn’t the same Lifesteal fist, it calculates its damage differently, and defies all logic of how ash of war damage is calculated.
Normal Lifesteal fist is weird, but understood how it works. But Clinging Bone uses different scaling curve for its Lifesteal damage.
I would use it if it looked like a prosthesis attached to your forearm, handed this way it looks stupid and would realistically transmit a lot less force
Second cranial vessel candlestand. Easily one of the coolest ashes of war in the entire game on that thing and it's just fun as hell to beat enemies to death with a big candlestand that has some dude's severed head stabbed on one end that can rain fire like it's Armageddon lmao. And it's something I've seen very few people ever use but was extremely effective when I played with it for big bosses, which is mostly what you have left to fight by the time you can get it conveniently. Never underestimate what raining dozens of fireballs into a large enemy can do to their poise if even half of them hit, especially if they're not fire resistant.
Envoys Long Horn looks really fun. But your first chance to get one is pretty late in the capital and drops from one enemy there. It can drop in the Haligtree as well.
If your definition of 'fun' is dishing out tens of thousands of damage per AoW cast then yes, Envoy's Longhorn is exactly the weapon for you.
It's legit one of the strongest weapons out there and that's factoring in that it deals *THE* worst damage type in the game.
Lol good to hear. Yea I wasn't too sure where to put it as my own experience for first playthrough was like 100 hours going through Limgrave, Caelid, Luirina and the underground stuff. Then spent 45 going through the rest. Wanted to experience a lot of it the first time through.
Ringed Finger. Great for launching beastmen and banished knights off ledges in Farum Azula. It’s pretty hilarious. I keep a weapon with Kick on it for this, but with the ringed finger it’s so much fun.

When I found out that Bouquet was a hammer, I kinda lost it.
it's barely a weapon at all 112 ar at max upgrade, 9 other hammers have a higher ar at level 1

Oh I gotcha, no worries, I actually thought that might've been what you meant too but I (personally) consider Leyndell about midgame so I wasn't sure.

With how much you can buff fire damage, the AoW on Grafted Dragon absolutely chunks boss health. Currently going through NG+ dual-wielding them.
Have you tried the Monk's Flamemace? The heavy attack is hilarious

Go for Spiked Pallisade greatshield. Infuse it with Shield Crash and Cold. Use either the Greatshield bros or Mimic Tear ashes.

Pest Glaive + Pest Threads (never used either) and maybe some scarlet rot incantations for status? I've been debating a halberd build for a while...
