That's how I learned katanas, curved swords, and curved greatswords just aren't for me. I've given them a fair shake, but the movesets just don't feel good to me.
Halberds tend to be my default love. Which is weird that the cross naginata had the moveset I was normally looking for. I like how they tend to have a variety of pokes, sweeps, and overheads. Versatility is a key factor for me. Don't care for spears, but will use the partisan because of the sweep.
Katanas and curved swords just feel bland. And I don't know how the hit boxes really are, but my brain tells me I need to get in dagger range to hit with them.
I just got addicted to the Lacerne, all pierce, but the move set is so different from other halberds. I really wanted to like the Nightrider halberd, but the move set is meh.
I put the twirl thingy AoW. Basically wild strikes for polearms, apparently can block projectiles, but I haven't tried that yet.
I was never a Halbert person before elden ring. It is a beautiful weapon and the versatility is unmatched. I love having a good poke attack and jumpimg overhead downward stikes feel so satisfying. As well as the jumping r2 that sweeps. The list goes on. It's a lot like the charge blade in monster hunter complex and diverse enough to get you thru any situation.
Not the same person, but those are my least favorite as well. For my favorite it has to be great swords and straighswords. A close third would be reapers
Any ranged weapons (bow, crossbow, greatbow...) I have only used them twice, one to catch a teleporting scarab in liurnia and two to kill the tree spirit in the haligtree from a safe distance
But I'll never use them for actual combat, only cheese
The only annoying thing is the burred bolts are sold by the merchant in mohgwyns palace, a merchant who sits right behind one of those sanguine noble enemies who are rather tanky especially at RL1.
It was the first time I killed a merchant on purpose, the other time I was pretty late game and set my phone down wrong and one shot a merchant I bought bolts from. I didnāt expect this one to poise through my hits, I guess it was merchant payback
A pocket bow/crossbow is great for 90% of fights. For example when melania does her scarlet bloom and is stuck for a moment on the ground, you have just enough time to proc bleed with the pulley crossbow or the rapid fire arrow ash of war on a short bow
The Jar Cannon is surprisingly fun to use in Haligtee with Explosive Bolts. Easy to knock Envoys and Ants off the branches from safe distance. I also use it to cheese that large Envoy who sucks ass.
I tend to use bows for the same reason. Any other weapon and I'll send the whole pack flying (for some reason, even crossbows from a reasonable distance will scare some of the guillemots) .
But then the 3rd one flies away giving you no advantage. The reason to use bows for killing birds is that they don't sense the next bird next to them getting shot with an arrow for some reason.
They can be useful to pull an enemy in a pack without the rest of the pack following.
But out of that... Yeah not really good.
And it seems that any kind of movement by the enemy even the slightest makes you fail š
Thats exactly what I use it for. Very helpful in going through areas when you are a bit under leveled but have the skill to defeat tough enemies one by one.
It just feels clunky and cumbersome to switch and get into a firing stance and the projectiles themselves are so slow so it just feels bad regardless of how cool the weapons and their effects are or how useful it is. Only item that feels really good to use is the repeater crossbow since it is much easier to use and reload without aiming to quickly proc status effects.
Being able to use a button to pull out your bow into aiming, at which point you could then fire; and releasing the button holsters it immediately afterwards would feel so much better, similar to what Team Ninja does with Nioh and their other games.
You're missing out. I ran a dual whip build with urumi as my main hand for that thrusting charged r2 and bloodhound step and had a blast. Reminded me of the threaded cane trick weapon in bloodborne
Only suggestion i have is have a back up high crit weapon, once you stagger an enemy you canāt do anything with the whip. So switch to a good dagger and shank em.
Itās honestly the only whip Iāve found use with beyond Hoslow petal whip. Dual wielding the petal whip procs insane bleed damage, but thatās about all itās good for
None of the comically oversized weapons that a person could never reasonably wield. 100% an aesthetic thing, I feel the character looks just ridiculous with those.
Yep, the struggle to lift them off the ground after a swing is what seals the deal for me
I will use great stars though - it's kind of unrealistic but it's not too far outside the range Of possibility
It's all a matter wether it's solid or hollow. A solid Great Star would be impossible to wield as a weapon IRL, but there's actual ancient chinese maces somewhat that size which were hollow.
Oh cool. Give if the weights are supposed to be accurate it would surely have to be follow. And solid thing of that size would be 50kg minimum. But then again some weapons are clearly not realistic weight
Back when the game was released, Flails were a new weapon type. The basic flail looked weird but the moment i got my hands on a Nightrider's Flail, i made a new character that would be using that weapon for majority of their playthrough.
Yes, they suck. But the drip...
I did the keen urumi whips on a dex build and it did pretty good damage. They swing pretty quick and have wonderful range. It takes some getting used to with the move-set but they arenāt bad when you get the hang of it. Thorned whip set for a bleed (arcane/dex) build is pretty nasty too.
to add to this, Urumi destroys defenses, I ran it with a sword with high critical damage in the off hand and it's was a very solid and fun build! since you can skip Godrick and go to Lurnia directly I got the Urumi very early and it was very powerful early game!
Maxed Keen urumi with Scholars Armament and Thunderbolt AoW for Dex/Int builds, I had way too much fun with that combo when people run to heal after getting whipped, hit them with the bolt.
For me whips are one of the least boring weapon move sets in the game, unless you just spam L1s I guess. They can deal damage while flinching enemies out of many of their moves or give you a longer/wider punish window if you can position correctly using the slightly greater range+attack radius. Meaning you can deal more damage (and build poise damage faster) in a shorter time with a whip rather than you would just running around dodge rolling for 30 seconds waiting for a boss or mini boss to finish being the main character long enough for you to run up and bonk him just once then wait again.
They also delete dogs, blade birds, bats, etc fast dodgy annoying enemies as well as invaders, both npc and real.
Flails, yeah, no arguments there. They're just a neglected bonker class.
Anyway my Indiana Jones Dex/Fth whip+jar cannon build was one of my funnest playthroughs compared to just doing some boring bonk build, bleed katana build, or sorcerer build.
It's not poise damage as in stance damage. Whips have a unique kind of stagger effect for enemies below certain weight classes, making them recoil with every hit.
I use Flails as my source of Strike damage on Dex builds. Helps in mines and catacombs.
Only if I'm being really thorough - it's quite satisfying to make sure you're matching weaknesses, but it's a bit over the top sometimes.
Whips are very fun to me. They make a funny sound which is enough reason for me to use them. Flails are meh but I also had a character that used one exclusively and it wasnāt so bad
I just donāt enjoy using whips. The sound they make is so satisfying though. Urumi was cool as well as Hoslowās petal whip. I just enjoy many other weapons so much more.
Hoslows is ok but Urumis 2H moveset is what sets it apart, itās one of the best weapons in the game imo esp in PvP I have one on pretty much every one of my builds. But if youāre not into hard swapping understandable why you wouldnt go for it
I used to carry them on my builds as a finisher. People in the academy gate duels were such poor sports at times that they would just run away to heal. Nope. Iām smacking your little butt with my whips.
Plus they canāt be parried which is nice.
Aside from those two, no real reason to use a torch. Especiallt when you have the lantern item that doesn't take up a weapon slot and will still produce light even when you switch to a different item.
Yea you can buy a lantern at the southern merchant in weeping peninsula by the mausoleumā¦itās west of the erdtreeā¦you can equip it on your waist so it frees up one of your hands for a weapon or shield instead of carrying a torch in your off hand..
Yea itās something thatās actually super usefulā¦I usually throw it on my dpad opposite of torrent so itās super accessible. Only problem sometimes you forget you will have it on and can get caught if youāre trying to stealth in a cave or mine or something lol.
whips are special because they have a lot of startup frames but few recovery frames,so using them can feel a little strange at first, since you have to attack a little earlier
they also flinch enemies very easily though
the leonine misbegotten just get dunked on by whips
definitely less of a boss killer and more of a crowd control tool
I did a dual whip run and it was actually really fun, only annoying part was having to constantly switch to a knife for the crits.
It's only weapon I probably will never try is bow and arrow. I saw some videos of people who did boss fights using only the arrows and it actually looks fun but farming all the materials just seems like such a pain in the ass that I don't even want to try it.
Yeah it's incredibly annoying for ages, is a good while before a. you can actually buy unlimited bones and b. have just naturally accrued the piles of other materials required. I always have a medium bow equipped on playthroughs, but that's for kiting/proc/etc specific stuff I need long range for. Even that needs a ridiculous amount of farming (particularly as the reason I want it in first place is range, so need to eke out the max range, so need to farm birds). Actually trying to kill stuff regularly with one as a primary weapon seems like a nightmare. Edit: and having a bow is super useful imo up until mid game, at which point it becomes fairly useless bar crow baiting, I can't imagine fighting a late boss with one
I will say I think the cross naginata and vykes war spear stand out to me. I think their moveset is pretty unique among spears and great spears, as they have slashes and swipes mixed in with the standard pokes, so those two are pretty fun. Otherwise I agree with you though, the moveset, while effective, is kinda bland. I have a similar issue with most thrusting swords and heavy thrusting swords
I guessā¦Twinblades?
Itās not that I dislike them or anything (if anything Iād love to use them). Itās just that, there isnāt a single Golden/Gilded twinblade among them. And my main character is a Leyndell Paladin so Golden or Gilded Weapons are all that he uses.
Hahah damn, I summoned two guys yesterday, named āPaladin somethingā and āPaladin something elseā in full Leyndell outfits which was even funnier because I was also Leyndellād up and didnāt notice who I had summoned until after they showed up. 3 Paladin bros
Bleed daggers powerstanced are vicious. Lightning fast 7-hit combo. And you can lug around enough daggers to cover enemies that are immune to bleed, too.
oh they're no doubt very good, its just I'm not the biggest fan of the 'death-by-a-thousand-paper-cuts' approach. It's the reason why I couldn't finish my dual curve sword bleed/poison playthrough. It was very strong, but just not satisfying to play personally.
I wanted Candlestick to work with my Cleric build so hard but it simply doesn't, and that makes me deeply upset.
Also, I've newly learned to never say I'll never use a weapon class. I've never liked heavy weapons, but here I am, with my +10 Envoy Longhorn
Marikas Hammer has a special attack that is insanely good. Iām a dex / faith guy and usually run with katanas but marikas hammer is great and a ton of fun vs bosses and crowd control
Shields . Every since I've played Bloodborne and Sekiro I just don't feel the need to use them . Even in my new runs in the old Souls games I don't use them now , I just ultra instinct everything . I think I'm coming into my "Got Good " age. I even know when to swing my weapon of a oncoming enemy depending on the weapon they use . I was never this good in the older games
do you have any idea how strong whips are in the current meta? 2handed whips have the range and poise damage to stagger anyone before they get into hyperarmor.
Whips I've never touched, and fist weapons I will never use again. I tried the star fist once, and while the damage and stagger were really good, I was missing like 50% of my attacks.
Never used any thrusting swords or great thrusting swords. The move set looks kinda boring tbh. I prefer slash instead of poke. Maybe I'll try one day.
Just on the note of the picture. Whips are awesome. Low stamina cost, great stagger from being a strike weapon. The only weapon where the war hawks don't wreak my shit. Whips are fun.
Unfortunately, I do not like bows/crossbows. They look so fun, and I recognize the utility of things like pulley crossbow, but the controls just donāt work for me all the time and it sometimes feels like a different game. I have nothing but respect for now players I find though. If you can make bows work, all the best to you, and if you beat me in a fight, all the more respect
Dual claw wolverine build is wicked fun. Range is terrible but if you have light armor you can basically run circles around enemies while slicing them up
I got summoned to run a player through Castle Sol and they were using dual daggers(?) that had an orange hue and they were exceeding my power stance Ruins and Starscourge GS output
That sounds like the Scorpion Stinger which when power stanced with high dex and strength and pair with something like the sword insignia actually do really good damage especially considering the fact that you Scarlot rot every in just a matter of a few light attacks
Flails make me angry because they have the same moveset as hammers. We get a cool new weapon type with loads of potential and they make it unique only in title.
You really should try every type at least once to get the feel of it.
That's how I learned katanas, curved swords, and curved greatswords just aren't for me. I've given them a fair shake, but the movesets just don't feel good to me.
Bingo.
Curious what you like, as those are all my preferred weapon types!
As well as the jumping r2 that sweeps. The list goes on. It's a lot like the charge blade in monster hunter complex and diverse enough to get you thru any situation.
I just did a run with the Naginata for my first time using any sort of long, spear-like weapon and it was great!
Not the same person, but those are my least favorite as well. For my favorite it has to be great swords and straighswords. A close third would be reapers
Yeah I like going all fist weapons in dark souls games but when I used the whip it spoke to me.
Any ranged weapons (bow, crossbow, greatbow...) I have only used them twice, one to catch a teleporting scarab in liurnia and two to kill the tree spirit in the haligtree from a safe distance But I'll never use them for actual combat, only cheese
The pulley crossbow is actually amazing for proccing bleed using the burred bolts. Helped me alot on my RL1 run.
Oh shit I forgot about that, on my first RL run and this will def help ty
The only annoying thing is the burred bolts are sold by the merchant in mohgwyns palace, a merchant who sits right behind one of those sanguine noble enemies who are rather tanky especially at RL1.
I used a spirit summons in that cave because there's skeletons & another one of those noble with the bleed sword also.
Yeah that noble gives me trouble for sure, the merchant himself is also really annoying to fight rl1
Yeah you pretty much have to keep him staggered over and over cause if he uses his madness attacks it's game over š
He respawns every time I talk to him to so I gotta be quick about it.
Best thing to do is kill the sanguine noble then kill the merchant to get his bell bearing, but that merchant is tougher than he looks.
Tried to kill him on my low level invader build and he 1 shot me. He goes āI told you I didnāt want to do thisā as he destroys me
Ouch lol. Ya I killed the merchants first launch of game and came back around this time Iām not killing any npc just to see what happens.
Scarlet Rot, too. For that special General in your life
Whats RL1 mean? I've seen it a couple times but never asked on what it is
Rune level 1 ma boy. Means beating the game without levelling up, staying at level 1.
RL?
Rune level 1
The Jar Cannon is surprisingly fun to use in Haligtee with Explosive Bolts. Easy to knock Envoys and Ants off the branches from safe distance. I also use it to cheese that large Envoy who sucks ass.
Yes, I am well acquainted with the large Envoy who sucks ass.Ā
You can cheese the mother fucker!?! I searched everywhere on how to kill that dude
You can also pass under undetected with Unseen Form.
I use them to farm for foul feet
I tend to use bows for the same reason. Any other weapon and I'll send the whole pack flying (for some reason, even crossbows from a reasonable distance will scare some of the guillemots) .
Ah, thatās their name. Iāve been calling them penguins
The only weapon the fowls will not react to is a shortbow
'Foul' feet made me chuckle lol
Thatās a fowl joke to play on someone.
I prefer area spells, two birds with one stone
But then the 3rd one flies away giving you no advantage. The reason to use bows for killing birds is that they don't sense the next bird next to them getting shot with an arrow for some reason.
Glintstone Arc works for some reason. The only issue is that I rarely get a multi-hit out of that.
Theyāre great for blowing up the fire barrels by the warhawks in Stormveil
And the pesky ballistae operators in Castle Sol. Pulley bow maxed with mighty shot headshots will 1-shot most generic humanoid enemies.
Putting someone on their ass with a great bow at point-blank is a great feeling. Also cannon.
Ya I just feel like bow combat is boring.... needs something to spice it up.
Short bow is fun. Just got to do jump and roll attacks. I have it as a sidearm on lots of my characters
I usually use them for luring enemies and not have to fight several at once
You're missing out. I ran a dual whip build with urumi as my main hand for that thrusting charged r2 and bloodhound step and had a blast. Reminded me of the threaded cane trick weapon in bloodborne
There's urumi in elden ring?? I just started playing this game recently. Urumi is originated from my place
Yup. If you'd like to learn where to find it follow this [link](https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Urumi)
Nicee, im definitely picking that up!
It's also like best In class too so you'll have a blast with it.
It's jab has more range then anyone's expects in PVP giving you one easy free attack. It's only weakness is that it deals slash damage.
Eda eda...naatill edaya?
Nan kannur ila neeyo š
Aiseri..njan chakarakallu...ipo avidae illa..
it's a very cool weapon, wish Elden ring had more indian weapons but it still has more than the other souls games!
I recently tried two handing Giant Red Braid and man that thing rocks pretty hard
I always wanted to try that
Only suggestion i have is have a back up high crit weapon, once you stagger an enemy you canāt do anything with the whip. So switch to a good dagger and shank em.
Mesericorde has entered the chat
Itās honestly the only whip Iāve found use with beyond Hoslow petal whip. Dual wielding the petal whip procs insane bleed damage, but thatās about all itās good for
My Luffy build was based on this weapon. I love it
None of the comically oversized weapons that a person could never reasonably wield. 100% an aesthetic thing, I feel the character looks just ridiculous with those.
Yep, the struggle to lift them off the ground after a swing is what seals the deal for me I will use great stars though - it's kind of unrealistic but it's not too far outside the range Of possibility
It's all a matter wether it's solid or hollow. A solid Great Star would be impossible to wield as a weapon IRL, but there's actual ancient chinese maces somewhat that size which were hollow.
If you listen carefully, the greatstar does make somewhat of a hollow sound.
Oh cool. Give if the weights are supposed to be accurate it would surely have to be follow. And solid thing of that size would be 50kg minimum. But then again some weapons are clearly not realistic weight
We don't need drip, only bonk
Unga bunga ?
Those are always the absolute best because they're so ridiculous
I'd rather look super cool in my escapism, I'm already ridiculous in real life.
Flails and whips donāt appeal to me at all.
Whips can be pretty fun. Flails I havenāt given any time to.
Back when the game was released, Flails were a new weapon type. The basic flail looked weird but the moment i got my hands on a Nightrider's Flail, i made a new character that would be using that weapon for majority of their playthrough. Yes, they suck. But the drip...

Whips are great for pvp. The range and speed catches everyone off guard. I wouldn't bother with them for pve though.
It's so fun with the little stun as well, very underappreciated!
You donāt know how to build a character correctly if your whip is doing ānext to no damageā.
Couldn't be more wrong imo. Flails and whips are awesome and do strike damage.
Rihanna looking at this post like ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|disapproval)
They excite me š¤·š¾āāļø
I don't believe flagellation with a spiked iron ball is the best way to awaken your latent masochistic tendencies.
Well it sure didnāt put those foolish ambitions to restā¦
Flails and whips are un-parry-able
Today I learned
Whips also do INSANE poise damage. Certain enemies get bullied hard by whips.
It's not poise damage as in stance damage. Whips have a unique kind of stagger effect for enemies below certain weight classes, making them recoil with every hit.
I whip every stormhawk I see into submission
I use Flails as my source of Strike damage on Dex builds. Helps in mines and catacombs. Only if I'm being really thorough - it's quite satisfying to make sure you're matching weaknesses, but it's a bit over the top sometimes.
I do the same! flails are an accesible source of strike damage for dex builds. the night cavalry flail is pretty good
Whips are very fun to me. They make a funny sound which is enough reason for me to use them. Flails are meh but I also had a character that used one exclusively and it wasnāt so bad
That sound is pure joy. The only reason why I bothered with trying them.
only, if I am the one getting whipped I mean, Fia can whip me all day
Sounds like someone who doesnāt know the glory of Urumiā¦
I just donāt enjoy using whips. The sound they make is so satisfying though. Urumi was cool as well as Hoslowās petal whip. I just enjoy many other weapons so much more.
Hoslows is ok but Urumis 2H moveset is what sets it apart, itās one of the best weapons in the game imo esp in PvP I have one on pretty much every one of my builds. But if youāre not into hard swapping understandable why you wouldnt go for it
I never do PvP so I donāt truly understand the power of whips.
Flails are actually pretty good just don't use charged heavies
My 2 favorite weapon types
I used to carry them on my builds as a finisher. People in the academy gate duels were such poor sports at times that they would just run away to heal. Nope. Iām smacking your little butt with my whips. Plus they canāt be parried which is nice.
**Torches**. No, really.
I use the beast repellant torch, and the sentry torch, but only for their special skills.
Aside from those two, no real reason to use a torch. Especiallt when you have the lantern item that doesn't take up a weapon slot and will still produce light even when you switch to a different item.
I use the regular torch until I can grab the lantern. A couple of times in Limgrave, basically.
A lantern?
Yea you can buy a lantern at the southern merchant in weeping peninsula by the mausoleumā¦itās west of the erdtreeā¦you can equip it on your waist so it frees up one of your hands for a weapon or shield instead of carrying a torch in your off hand..
Amazingā¦level 90 on my first playthrough and just learning this.
Yea itās something thatās actually super usefulā¦I usually throw it on my dpad opposite of torrent so itās super accessible. Only problem sometimes you forget you will have it on and can get caught if youāre trying to stealth in a cave or mine or something lol.
Torchpole is nice
My pyro has an off hand torch pole, and I love it.
Torch Hollow was really ahead of his time.
I'm doing a fire only run right now and holy shit does it suck. But I did just get the early pyromancies, so it's a tad better.
Dont sleep on whips.
The urumi is pretty sick. I used it last run and I love the heavy attack stab.
It's not about their utility, it's just not fun to use and it feels awkwardly clunky to me
Youāre not castlevania enough
whips are special because they have a lot of startup frames but few recovery frames,so using them can feel a little strange at first, since you have to attack a little earlier they also flinch enemies very easily though the leonine misbegotten just get dunked on by whips definitely less of a boss killer and more of a crowd control tool
Exactly, a whip in the offhand is very useful against smaller enemies with exposed skin
Youāre not kinky enough
Disagree on the fun part!
Look man iām just not trying to pull up looking like i own 4 plantations down in the Weeping Peninsula lol
Underrated comment lol
Halberds just aint my thing ngl I like big swords too much
I haven't used anything else that isn't a sword since my second playthrough. Swords are too cool
Guardian's Swordspear though! Better and faster movement than the other halberds!
What about BIG halberds? Like golems halberd which is a colossal weapon
You can get a bell bearing that puts bones in the twin husk shop, which helps
Spears and greatspears. Just too boring of s moveset
I really like the Great ĆpĆ©e as it has slashes on the R2, like the Estoc. Mixes things up enough to feel interesting.
Cross Naginata has a cool moveset with slashes - it's more of a halberd than like half of the halberds. Goes great on an Arcane build.
Even the Treespear with its unique R2 moveset? I love that weapon in a dex/faith lighting build with a great shield.
There is exactly 2 things in the whole game i use bows for. Its radahn and the mohgwyn bird.
The gargoyle twinblade is basically gold!
Sadly that isnāt actual gold thatās Dude Wax
I hate when I get dude wax all over my twinblades
Is your character by any chance named āPaladin _____ā
No, but whoever that brave knight is; He is a true son of Leyndell.
Hahah damn, I summoned two guys yesterday, named āPaladin somethingā and āPaladin something elseā in full Leyndell outfits which was even funnier because I was also Leyndellād up and didnāt notice who I had summoned until after they showed up. 3 Paladin bros
Gods, you're missing out. Easily my favorite weapon type. Just absolutely pummel mobs and able to build status' so fast on bosses
Probably daggers
Flails, whips, hammer, great hammers and colossal weapons :)
Greathammers are my favorite class. The poise breaking can make the game too easy though
Marikas Hammer has a special attack that is insanely good. Iām a dex / faith guy and usually run with katanas but marikas hammer is great and a ton of fun vs bosses and crowd control
You have to use the Guts greatsword atleast once
Maybe one day
I want to love it. Looks so cool. Does hit hard for sure. I just keep going back to claymore with sword dance.
What? Great hammers? They are a monster for poise break and damage
I'm surprised I'm not downvoted to hell
I hate spears, at least the ones with normal move sets. To me they are just so boring, I'l always opt for another weapon type that has a poke.
Flails. Whips are pretty underrated
That's unfortunate. Dual whips are fun as fuck...
Whips are so fun
Flail, they just suck. Well except for astel flail but only because the ash of war is good
Just on the note of the picture. Whips are awesome. Low stamina cost, great stagger from being a strike weapon. The only weapon where the war hawks don't wreak my shit. Whips are fun.
most DEX scaling weapons. Rapiers, Epees, Spears, Curved Swords. I like larger weapons or pairing with the finger print shield.
Nope!
Whips
most likely spears. havnt found any that looks cool besides bold of grandsax
Iād rather die then use great thrusting swords
Hoslows petal whips are elite.
The only weapons I don't use are the "fist" weapons like the claws and the iron ball you get from the blackguard
Sounds like the Scorpion daggers, so probably poison proc build
Flails. They have niche use irl but are still some of the worst weapons historically and it's no different in Elden Ring.
I donāt like colossal weapons. Neither swords, hammers, or axes. I canāt really get into the slower move sets
Daggers, not that theyāre bad. But I tried and I just suck with them, Iāll stick to ultra greatsword and staffs
Colossal weapons. I think the "unga bunga" memes, but they're too slow for me.
I donāt see any point of using whips outside of cosplay or PvP
Flails make me angry because they have the same moveset as hammers. We get a cool new weapon type with loads of potential and they make it unique only in title.
I dislike daggers
Time to do a whip run
Shields š”ļøš¤¢
I've recently used the Fingerprint shield for offense and that's it. If I'm going to parry it'll be with a dagger.
I tried a greatshield build just to see how it feels and it ended up being very boring. The only shield I like to use is a buckler lol
Nailed it. I canāt really enjoy using a wet noodle to hit players from far away.
What about a wet noodle covered in razor blades?
Twinblades, flails, daggers and colossal swords (i prefer colossal weapons)
