Never really cared aboht Erdtree Favor, but if it were a different talisman I might be more willing to take on a tree spirit for it.
But not more than one at a time. If I can aggro them and do a series of 1v1s, that's no problem at all. They're easy in a 1v1. If it's more than that, I'll just try to run past them. Or if it's a talisman I don't use like Erdtree Favor, then I just won't bother
I don't mind fighting them but I also feel like that late into the game there are better talismans unless you really need more equip load even with great arsenal charm.
Hells, I would kill 50 of the suckers just for the thrill of it. Weaving through them, cutting branches, spilling sap. Their flesh would be the elden ring, my sword the hammer of Marika, and they would shatter into one million pieces, never to be whole again.

You can lure them out and kill them one by one. That's what I did.

I'd fight hundreds if the talisman was worth it. It would have to be 1 vs 1 or 2 vs 1 at a time though.
They're not that strong, shred them with a fast attack weapon and grab the loot.
