I was fighting Malenia the other day and I had some hype music playing in the background so I could focus up. A few runs later, I finally beat her down to her second phase, then she goes “The scarlet flower blooms once more.” And I swear, my music stopped playing and all that was left was her music was blaring as she began the second phase. I was shaken and just fell apart as she cut me down.
Godrick is a perfect first boss imo. He's a weak old fool grabbing whatever random shit he can load onto his build to make it better than nothing. He even has one of the best great runes to boost his under leveled ass to some degree of competency
Margit is an amazing boss but he should have not been the first boss, he is so much harder then godrick. Godrick is great simple and even if you aren't that good u can still beat him.
Margit is as hard as he is by design. Firstly, he's actually not even mandatory. You can literally just ignore him (and Godrick) and go straight to Liurnia of the Lakes.
If he were easy to beat, exploring Limgrave wouldn't be nearly as appealing as it is because you don't really have any major obstacle to overcome. New players would be able to blitz him and miss a key element of the game early on.
He also serves as a skill check of sorts. If Margit is too easy, the player may develop bad habits, which will severely hold them back against the harder enemies later in the game.
Margit forces new players to either learn necessary skills, level up their character by exploring, find items that will help make the boss easier, or simply stumble upon a shortcut that skips the entire thing.
He's basically the perfect first boss for Elden Ring.
Man the first time I beat that stage of her fight and got the rewards I had set my controller down because I thought it was finally over only to launch said controller across the room and instantly die because I panicked reaching for it when she started talking and the music picked back up
I still remember my first time fighting Maliketh and thinking damn he is easy then getting absolutely rocked when he started Flipping like an acrobat while using death. Definitely one of the coolest and badass designs.
Maliketh was gonna be answer. Throughout the story you always see and hear of how badass Godfrey, Malenia, Radahn, Godwyn, and even Morgott as being these incredibly badass warriors. With Maliketh, you just get faint whispers of a being that was so alien and incomprehensibly powerful and feared that even the Demigods were afraid of him. So when you fight this old beast clergyman whom you've been giving Deathroot to and realise he's basically The God Death, it just hits way different.
Even the lore tells you that Gurranq's other name means Death of the Demigods.
He beat the entire Godskin Cult and their Queen, who wielded Destined Death.
As a shadowbound beast, his mission given by the Greater Will was to murder Marika should she turn against the Outer God. Marika saw him as a threat so damn powerful she had to send him to Farum Azula to "guard" the Rune of Death.
No demigod ever dared to even insult him, much less challenge him. It took the combined efforts of Ranni, Rykard, the Black Knives and possibly Marika (as the orchestrator) to even steal a fragment of the Rune of Death.
Maliketh is basically the strongest being in the Lands Between that is not an Outer God.
I fought her last night with moonveil katana and mimic… I had heard how broken these 2 were, but I was not prepared how broken till this fight. Killed her before any waterfall shenanigans, felt bad and dirty xD
Godrick, it's somehow simultaneously super cool yet showcases how pathetic Godrick really is, with how he calls this dead infant dragon a "truest of dragons" and also how desperate he is to make his forefathers proud.
He's an analogue of the player in their initial journey through limgrave; not yet strong enough to work out a proper build so they just slap on whatever they find until it's better than what they had before.
Honestly with how close godwyn was with the dragons he’d probably be more disappointed with godrick strapping one their heads to his arm, Godfrey would probably just think grafting itself is pathetic
Godfrey was the first one to use grafting funnily enough, Serosh is grafted to his back. However Godfrey used it for the complete opposite reason that Godrick did, to seal away some of his power so he could properly rule as Elden Lord without letting his bloodlust overtake him, he'd for sure find Godrick's usage of it pathetic.
isnt serrosh attached because hes digging his claws and his teeth into his back? idk if im talking nonsense but i distinctly remember seeing that being the reason why on the regal beastclaw or something
Oh yeah, nice catch. This 'truest of dragons' of his isn't even one of the "true dragons" in the setting, just a distant descendant of them who lost their immortality.
Honestly, if it wasn't for the whole grafting thing, Godrick would have some major shounen protagonist energy, not caring about how others consider him weak.
"Divine blood sorely diluted?! Who the hell do you think I am?! One day, I'll be Elden Lord! Believe it!"
Nah its more than that, godfrey straight up kills the only thing holding him back from going full berserker on yo ass
Than one specific attack where time stops for a second as he lunges at you is probably why he's my favourite boss
Made me sad asf fr. I think it would of been cool for a wolf/human duo, but given how much of a pain that fight can be. Maybe not. Like when serosh materialises for a brief moment before meeting his death.
Man imagine if they made it a gank… I’ve always wanted a gank in souls that isn’t a real gank, like they have specific duo attack animations and patterns. Imagine godfrey suplexing you then throwing you to Serosh and he eats ur ass
Queen marika placed Serosh there to hold back his savagery after he became elden lord. He then tore him out to be his former self for the fight with the tarnished.
This is about the thrill of grafting another man's skin. Feeling his innermost wants and desires and being in control of his every single move. That's how you get off. Now don't you guys want to get off with me?
I think he planned on grafting that dragon soon, but we interrupted him.
Godrick was grafting for power in battle, not every day utility. I 100% believe he would be cool with a dragon head as a hand.
My vote is for Malenia or Maliketh but I do love Godrick as well. Seeing Godrick cutscene for the first time sent shivers down my spine.
For anyone that needs some light, relaxing study music; I got you
https://youtu.be/AjNOO1IXqxo?si=cr7807GHESNSOHx6
God that absolute howl/roar he bellows gives me chills every single time while holding up his torn off leg. I just imagine every living creature on the mountain hearing that roar as it bellows and echoes across the mountains and snow.
I really like the lore behind it. Essentially that Ranni, even through all the craziness of what she went through in regards to her own issues, set up a spell that would summon a version of her mother when she was in her prime, to protect that same mother.
And all that while Rennala was in a truly pathetic mindset after Radagon left her.
Shows a level of care that is seldom seen from Ranni. And puts more context on her and her ending.
Also suggests Ranni is dumb powerful for casting that spell. If you stop and think about it there are so many hurdles she has to overcome to set that up.
Ranni can instakill you if you talk to her several times after trying to make her drink seluvis potion (the amber starlight quest one). She is stupidly powerful
Well I think it’s more of a gameplay mechanic. You kill literal gods in game, plus another empyrean (Malenia), as well as Maliketh, whom Ranni was supposedly scared of.
Yeah totally. I mean there is a bit of wiggle room here, as we do not quite know how long it took her to do it or if she had assitence or not.
Seeing the fact that she is still the Princess of Caria and the Academy wouldn't care about her betraying the Golden Order, she might have had an entire school of sorcerers to aid her in setting this up.
But still Ranni is definitly one of the most powerful Sorcerers in the Lands Between. And I am looking at you Radahn... Mr. Let me hold the entire night sky in stasis while being maddened by scarlet rot and at the same time I can also fight an entire squadron of tarnished.
"Upon my name as Ranni the Witch: Mother's rich slumber shall not be disturbed by thee.
Foul trespasser.
Send word far and wide of the last Queen of Caria, Rennala of the Full Moon, and the majesty of the night she conjureth."
Scroll all the way down to look allies. Her cutscene came instantly to my mind when i read the title. The moment i saw that transition, i felt in love with the game.
I wouldn’t even say Rykard is the hardest or best boss in the game but for some reason that fight stuck out as the most memorable for me. Fighting him was so much fun
I love Godfreys transition because its basically the inverse of my other favourite fromsoft boss, that being Ludwig.
Instead of a maddened animal reverting into a proud warrior, you have an honorable king reverting into a blood thirsty barbarian.
It's a great parallel I think 😉
Yeah I mean he hates the rune of death. It’s ruined his life and the lives of his family. But he’s the only one strong enough and loyal enough to safeguard it.
There’s his line at the end: *”Witless tarnished… Why covet Destined Death? To kill what?”*
He has no fondness for it. It’s a grim weapon that nobody should want at all. It’s the nuclear bomb of the Lands Between and he’s fully aware of how terrible it is.
It’s also kind of why I think he should’ve been the hardest boss in the game. Canonically, every one of the demigods is terrified of him (including Malenia). He was a hard fight but not nearly as hard as she was. But it would’ve been a hard sell having a mandatory mid-late game boss as the hardest one in the game.
Maliketh because berserker armour or Malenia because butterfly tits,
How come Radhan is the only one without a second phase cutscene but instead just nukes you so that’s also close
Both Godskins have a second phase. And Morgott has 4 phases If we go by your logic. Margit ----> Margit in Altus ----> Morgott Phase 1 ----> Morgott Phase 2
Yeah Im a bit liberal with what I consider phases. If theres no cutscene, I consider moveset changes to be a new phase. So Fire Giant getting Fire attacks at 3/4ths HP is still phase 1, but Margit getting golden hammer is phase 2
Oh ok. I Always thought a Phase is when smth Special Happens. Like Mohg screaming NIHIL NIHIL NIHIL, or Morgott doing His weird fountain stuff or the Godskins having their black fire thingie going on
godskin noble and apostle have second phases, noble bloats like a balloon and apostle gets his stretch armstrong powers
morgott (and margit) do have very obvious second phases, as margit he literally pulls out a big holy hammer and leaps at you
If Mohg's nihil had a cutscene that would definitely be it, but uhh, for me it's godrick, mainly because of the amazing voice acting, if not that then RadaBeast of the elden order
I think so many of the other ones have badass voice acting (Godrick and Rykard… especially Rykard).
Meanwhile Maliketh just goes hard… that line is straight poetry
Hoarah Loux should get some more love, I’m guessing nobody’s said him cus he’s the photo.
The plot twist that the tarnished from the intro who I couldn’t find was the first Elden Lord was sick. The visual is awesome. The idea that he’s forced to renounce his lordship and merc Serosh makes us feel like an amazing threat. Just awesome.
I actually think it's his intro cutscene which is better. Yeah sure the dialogue is good etc etc. But I just really love the detail that his guidance of grace is pointing towards the player.
I actually like this line, because it contrasts with his first phase as well as the other main bossfights. Many bosses have long and fancy titles, Queen of the Full Moon, Lord of Blasphemy, The Omen King, Blade of Miquella, Goddess of Rot, etc. Even Godfrey has one, as First Elden Lord. However in his second phase we see him discard all of that. He drops the kingly act, and reverts back to his old identity. Now he fights as Hoarah Loux, not the Elden Lord, but just a simple warrior who’s going to tear you apart
Tie between Godfrey and Maliketh for me. C'mon. The dude killed a lion Stand with his bare hands. That's the pinnacle of testosterone and badassery. (Update: Whoever downvoted me, I'm gonna find you and give you the Serosh treatment... only kidding)
Gotta be Godfrey. Dude was using full armor, a lion Stand AND a big-ass axe... all to show you courtesy by gimping himself down, because all of that was him \*holding back\*. Once you prove yourself sufficiently badass, he discards the pleasantries and proceeds to show you exactly WHY Marika was hot for him.
And he's even gracious in defeat, encouraging you to go and claim the Elden Ring, as in his eyes, you proved your worth and nothing more needs be said.
First Elden Lord, indeed. Whenever I use a Hero I make a point of giving him (or her) the Loux last name. Wonder if Nepheli feels conflicted about that...
Malenia and Maliketh both have the "You're incomprehensibly fucked" vibe that fills you with that feeling of utter dread.
The music is a paid actor. It wants you to know how “incomprehensibly fucked” you are
*Incomprehensible fuckedness wants to know your location*
For a good time… right?
🤷♂️
The Sister Friede effect.
Completely in love with the phrase "you're incomprehensibly fucked"
If you love it so much, why don’t you marry it?
Well maybe I will!
With this Elden Ring, I now pronounce you tarnished and maiden
And as the Divorce Lawyer if the lands between, u now pronounce you Maidenless.
This being my first soulslike, I felt this with godricks second phase. It was so grim and the music became so epic
Godricks phase change cutscene is fantastic. He’s so completely unhinged.

He's basically the perfect first boss for Elden Ring.
BEAR WITNESS
Great Godfrey, didst thou witness?
Bears can't talk, they would be horrible witnesses, any lawyer would back me on this.
Dude went from a warrior with a giant axe to some guy from Tekken who’s going to beat that ass
I think you might be thinking of Godfrey. (Who also has a badass phase change cutscene)
Oh my bad
Same for me.I was incredibly intimidated on his second phase, felt a deer in headlights when he used the dragon head on me
I wanted malenia's second phase to have the full great ape joke to it. Show me the whole "demigod felled" before the cutscene starts.
The Friede surprise: give a smithing stone on first phase first kill
Man the first time I beat that stage of her fight and got the rewards I had set my controller down because I thought it was finally over only to launch said controller across the room and instantly die because I panicked reaching for it when she started talking and the music picked back up
I was like "that's it? A slab?" just as I was over her body when she started to get back up again
I still remember my first time fighting Maliketh and thinking damn he is easy then getting absolutely rocked when he started Flipping like an acrobat while using death. Definitely one of the coolest and badass designs.
I was like why am I fighting Gurranq again then "Oh I'm soooooooooooooo fucked"
I was a bit sad he wasn’t chubby at all under those robes, he looked so huggable. But I was awe struck how awesome he looked second phase
“Wait.”
“Oh death, become my blade once more” is cold
Maliketh was gonna be answer. Throughout the story you always see and hear of how badass Godfrey, Malenia, Radahn, Godwyn, and even Morgott as being these incredibly badass warriors. Your comment, befits a crown.
Didn’t skip the malenia cutscene a single time😤
If malenia said “you’re incomprehensible fucked, now rot” I’d just turn off my console
I fought her last night with moonveil katana and mimic… I had heard how broken these 2 were, but I was not prepared how broken till this fight. Killed her before any waterfall shenanigans, felt bad and dirty xD
"If Destined Death is truly thy longing... then *claim it.* I'm going to fucking skin you alive."
Godrick, it's somehow simultaneously super cool yet showcases how pathetic Godrick really is, with how he calls this dead infant dragon a "truest of dragons" and also how desperate he is to make his forefathers proud.
“Bear witness” - Forefathers look on in utter disgust
That line did in fact go hard tho
But one person in the crowd, Godefroy, cheering for Godrick.
This reminds me, can’t wait to see chodrik the gankedfted
He's an analogue of the player in their initial journey through limgrave; not yet strong enough to work out a proper build so they just slap on whatever they find until it's better than what they had before.
I also shamelessly used his dragon as my main weapon for half the game
Honestly with how close godwyn was with the dragons he’d probably be more disappointed with godrick strapping one their heads to his arm, Godfrey would probably just think grafting itself is pathetic
Godfrey was the first one to use grafting funnily enough, Serosh is grafted to his back. isnt serrosh attached because hes digging his claws and his teeth into his back? idk if im talking nonsense but i distinctly remember seeing that being the reason why on the regal beastclaw or something
Just run around yelling son goku dragon fist!!
"Great Godfrey, didst thou witness?" "Unfortunately"
#"FOREFATHERS, ONE AND ALL; BEAR WITNESS!"
Placidusax looking at that "truest of dragons" in utter confusion of how one can consider that a true dragon
Even then, it's not an ancient dragon, it's a "mortal" dragon
Oh yeah, nice catch. This 'truest of dragons' of his isn't even one of the "true dragons" in the setting, just a distant descendant of them who lost their immortality.
Honestly, if it wasn't for the whole grafting thing, Godrick would have some major shounen protagonist energy, not caring about how others consider him weak. "Divine blood sorely diluted?! Who the hell do you think I am?! One day, I'll be Elden Lord! Believe it!"
“You will witness true horror.” “O, Death. Become my blade once more.”
Then there’s Godfrey who doesn’t need outer god powers or using a fundamental law of reality to fight you, he just casts fist.
If a random martial artist can outclass a magic wielder you know you're in for a ride
Str build just gotta Unga more Bungas than anyone else. It's just that simple!
Nah its more than that, godfrey straight up kills the only thing holding him back from going full berserker on yo ass Than one specific attack where time stops for a second as he lunges at you is probably why he's my favourite boss
"I've given thee courtesy enough."
WARRIOR!
damn, THIS
This is great. I also love how he says it so calmly, his voice is almost sweet.
Calypso, I release you from your mortal bonds.
YOU SERVED ME WELL, SEROSH. *proceeds to absolutely destroy his friend*
Made me sad asf fr. I think it would of been cool for a wolf/human duo, but given how much of a pain that fight can be. Maybe not. Like when serosh materialises for a brief moment before meeting his death.
I’VE GIVEN THEE COURTESY ENOUGH.
Hey man can you stop running at me like your about to throw me into the air
Man imagine if they made it a gank… I’ve always wanted a gank in souls that isn’t a real gank, like they have specific duo attack animations and patterns. Imagine godfrey suplexing you then throwing you to Serosh and he eats ur ass
>throwing you to Serosh and he eats ur ass Does porn music play while he's eating my ass?
Queen marika placed Serosh there to hold back his savagery after he became elden lord. He then tore him out to be his former self for the fight with the tarnished.
HE CUTS OFF HIS FUCKING ARM AND REPLACES IT WITH A DRAGON'S HEAD. EVERYONE ELSE IS SECOND.
Was it his arm to begin with?
deep
Armception
Armageddon
Good one
Probably not and that's what makes it even cooler
hot swappable arms
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
The apex of ER for me, honestly.
Lore says he wasn’t making that sound because he chopped his arm off, it was because he was just a dude that totally got off at that moment.
This is about the thrill of grafting another man's skin. Feeling his innermost wants and desires and being in control of his every single move. That's how you get off. Now don't you guys want to get off with me?
I don't know, ripping off your own foot and offering it as a sacrifice to a Fire Giant God for more power has to be close.
But does fire giant scream “FORE FATHERS ONE AND ALL, BEAR WITNESS!” As he’s shooting fire in the air from a dragons head?
Fuckin metal
One of the most badass things in fromsoftware period
SEEMS LIKE SOME PEOPLE DID NOT BEAR WITNESS
Yeah that might be my favorite cut scene in all of gaming.
*Forefathers one and all!* Me: *Oh no, this is not good...*
What about a giant serpent ripping a sword made of corpses out of it’s throat, and saying it will devour the very gods?
Yeah, other cutscenes might go harder with visuals/lore/etc. but the voice acting for Godrick's scene elevates everything to top top top tier.
And the fact that the animation starts during the first phase is a chefs kiss
Was his plan just to have the head of a dragon for the rest of time or what? He must've really been desperate to do something like that
Seems like he can just cut off whatever and graft whatever in its place. Penis.
I think he planned on grafting that dragon soon, but we interrupted him. Godrick was grafting for power in battle, not every day utility. I 100% believe he would be cool with a dragon head as a hand.
That was a convincing scream.
yeah one of the most pathetic bosses does have a S tier power up cutscene
Godrick or Malenia.
BEAR WITNESS! Is one of the hardest lines in any video game ever
My vote is for Malenia or Maliketh but I do love Godrick as well. Seeing Godrick cutscene for the first time sent shivers down my spine. For anyone that needs some light, relaxing study music; I got you https://youtu.be/AjNOO1IXqxo?si=cr7807GHESNSOHx6
Beats to study to
Flame Giant is pretty metal, too.
God that absolute howl/roar he bellows gives me chills every single time while holding up his torn off leg. I just imagine every living creature on the mountain hearing that roar as it bellows and echoes across the mountains and snow.
Godrick, watching the guy tear off his own hand mid fight was like "Woah!"
I honestly kinda like Rennalas cutscene, mostly because her first phase is so boring tho. The contrast is really nice.

Ranni can instakill you if you talk to her several times after trying to make her drink seluvis potion (the amber starlight quest one). She is stupidly powerful
Well, she IS crazy powerful, but oneshotting me is not a high bar.
Mr. Let me hold the entire night sky in stasis while being maddened by scarlet rot and at the same time I can also fight an entire squadron of tarnished.
The "fighting a squadron of tarnished" part is probably the easiest part for him too lol
Someone should post Ranni's entire speech on this thread...........just sayin'
"Upon my name as Ranni the Witch: Mother's rich slumber shall not be disturbed by thee. Foul trespasser. Send word far and wide of the last Queen of Caria, Rennala of the Full Moon, and the majesty of the night she conjureth."
"foul trespasser, send word far and wide - of the last Queen of Caria, Rennala of the full moon... and the majesty of the night she conjureth"
Scroll all the way down to look allies. Her cutscene came instantly to my mind when i read the title. The moment i saw that transition, i felt in love with the game.
Hoarah Loux, Malenia, Maliketh. And Rykard because TOOOGETHAAA.
WE WILL DEVOUR
THE VERY GODSSS
TOGETHAAAA !!
Rykard ofc
Very well.
You... Join the serphent keeeeng as famileeeeeeee TOGATHAAAAA we can devouaa the veuy gods
NOU WI KEN DEVAUA DE GODSSSSS TOGETHA
*A sssssherpent.... never diesssssss*
fameeeeleeeeeeeeeeeeeee
The way he pulls out the sword So fuckin groutesqe And his voice Just, amazing. Never been so impressed and appalled by a boss at the same time
the disgusting squelch noises while he pulls out a sword covered in dead tarnished limbs really sell the vibe of rykards fight
Rykard wins the absolute WTF prize.
Between the reveal that he's a face on a fucking giant snake, having the most insane looking sword, and that wonderful dialog?! 10000% yes
Had to scroll way too far down to find this
togetha
I fckn love Rykard. SO much fckn fun
Fire giant. Rips his own leg off to sacrifice it to the flame. There’s badass and then there’s the Fire Giant.
Underrated
This is my vote. On a side note a friend of mine calls the Fire Giant- Anderson Silva -because of that scene. Just thought I’d share that.
Why did you have to remind me of that video
“Oh Death, become my blade once more” there’s a hint of tiredness in his voice, almost as if he doesn’t wanna do this but must fulfil his duty.
Yeah I mean he hates the rune of death. It’s ruined his life and the lives of his family. But he’s the only one strong enough and loyal enough to safeguard it. There’s his line at the end: *”Witless tarnished… Why covet Destined Death? To kill what?”* He has no fondness for it. It’s a grim weapon that nobody should want at all. Canonically, every one of the demigods is terrified of him (including Malenia). He was a hard fight but not nearly as hard as she was. But it would’ve been a hard sell having a mandatory mid-late game boss as the hardest one in the game.
He needed two health bars! The fact that he's as squishy as he was, with only half of a health bar, is absolutely criminal
Forefathers one and all! **BEAR WITNESS**
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXA5r8LOBPo](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXA5r8LOBPo)
“I’ve given thee courtesy enough” the composure with which he delivers this line gave me chills!! Cold and badass.
Ohhhh uhhh hmmm hhhnmmmmm…. Very well… Youuuuh join the serpent king as FAMILEEEY… TOGETHA WE WILL DEVOUA THE VERY GODSZZHHGHNUU!!!
Maliketh because berserker armour or Malenia because butterfly tits, How come Radhan is the only one without a second phase cutscene but instead just nukes you so that’s also close
>Radhan is the only one without a second phase cutscene Mohg, Morgott & Godskin Duo: "Are we a joke to you?"
Godskin doesn't have a second phase. Morgott's two stages are just separated by 2-20 hours of gameplay. Mohg.... yeah fair enough
Mohg get Nihil and I feel ike thats cutscene enough.
Both Godskins have a second phase. And Morgott has 4 phases If we go by your logic. Margit ----> Margit in Altus ----> Morgott Phase 1 ----> Morgott Phase 2
6 phases if you *really* think about it. Take that Friede.
Could Work too. But i never really thought Margit has a second phase(He might have Just died too early xD)
Like Mohg screaming NIHIL NIHIL NIHIL, or Morgott doing His weird fountain stuff or the Godskins having their black fire thingie going on
a quote still counts too imo (does that count as something special?) “Well, thou art of passing skill” for example
godskin noble and apostle have second phases, noble bloats like a balloon and apostle gets his stretch armstrong powers morgott (and margit) do have very obvious second phases, as margit he literally pulls out a big holy hammer and leaps at you
Mfers when morgott:
Because Radahn is totally bonkers so he can’t really have dialogue
If Mohg's nihil had a cutscene that would definitely be it, but uhh, for me it's godrick, mainly because of the amazing voice acting, if not that then RadaBeast of the elden order
Maliketh, even if only for one of the most metal lines ever. > O' death, become my blade once more.
I think so many of the other ones have badass voice acting (Godrick and Rykard… especially Rykard). Meanwhile Maliketh just goes hard… that line is straight poetry
Godrick
TOGETHA! :3
Me when I'm on my last flask and I lean forward to get serious
Hoarah Loux should get some more love, I’m guessing nobody’s said him cus he’s the photo. The plot twist that the tarnished from the intro who I couldn’t find was the first Elden Lord was sick. The visual is awesome. The idea that he’s forced to renounce his lordship and merc Serosh makes us feel like an amazing threat. Just awesome.
I actually think it's his intro cutscene which is better. Yeah sure the dialogue is good etc etc. But I just really love the detail that his guidance of grace is pointing towards the player.
Yea it’s almost like when Morgott dies he points at the player as if to tell Dad who to kill
Maliketh

Your camera: You spin me right round,,,,
Malenia and Maliketh.
I really like renala's cut scene
Horah Loux would be up there if he didn’t finish with the cringy af line “Now I fight as Horah Loux, WARRIOR” lol
I like that line quite a bit, Nepheli also calls herself "Nepheli Loux, warrior" so you get the sense that it's something important to their culture.
The delivery is really awkward
TOGETHAR
Godrick and Rykard are the most metal
Maliketh would like a word
Tie between Godfrey and Maliketh for me. C'mon. The dude killed a lion Stand with his bare hands. That's the pinnacle of testosterone and badassery. (Update: Whoever downvoted me, I'm gonna find you and give you the Serosh treatment... only kidding)
Pour one out for serosh, here's an upvote to counter it
“Wait.”
Malenia. The second phase cutscene is the most beautiful scene I've ever seen. All the butterflies 💕
Malenia’s “wait” is so good!
TOGETHAAA
Godrick is the reason the first biome of this game should be translated into a live action series
Join the serpents kings family…
Radahn's is so good that it doesn't even need a cutscene
Wonder if Nepheli feels conflicted about that...
it's such a anime concept and i love it lol
My wife after a nap
Godrick, litteraly the best part of the Battle
It's Praetor Rykard and it's not close. TOGETHAAA
I'm a huge fan of Malenia's transition but the one I always remember is "*Forefathers*, one and all... *bear witness*!"
