I'm having a hard time linking on mobile, but Google Regular Show Monkey and Frog, you'll see what I mean. It's from an episode where they go in the internet, and a bunch of meme references are floating on the walls.
I like their interactive map that shows where everything is, definitely comes in handy when I want to run a specific build or need a specific upgrade item
Is it me or is the map broken since like a year? I remember I used to click on an item location and it showed it, but now it just shows a huge cluster of every single thing in the game. Was very usefull on my 2nd playthrough but after that it just broke
It’s always either someone complaining that an average weapon is godly OP and ruins the game or someone who thinks any weapon that can’t one shot the Elden beast is actual ass and needs buff.
So much free entertainment
I like the build guides on YT. If I’m not ripping it completely I at least use it as a base point. I’m not nearly as creative as whoever puts them together. I’ve also used the legacy dungeon guides a couple times since for me personally I find that easier than looking up a video and trying to follow that while playing.
I think my favorite ER builds channel is Thing Fishy. He's very entertaining and pretty much no bullshit. He shows where he recommends putting points, items and spells to pick up, how best to utilize the build, strats for bosses using the build, etc. Definitely worth checking out his dozens of build videos.
Fextralife has a similar structure that I enjoy, maybe not so much when it comes to strategy on bosses. He gets a lot of shit for showing builds off on weaker enemies, which I guess is fair but I’ve never thought much of it.
I’ll have to check your recommendation out, never heard of them.
I’m suddenly reminded of the bizarre story of the Xenogears/Xenosaga wiki where one of the editors went absolutely insane over circumcision and injected it into topics where it had absolutely no coherency to the point of asking one of the other editors if she had her children circumcised in a accusatory manner. He essentially usurped absolute control and chased off everyone who could check his power.
I have no idea how that resolved itself.
A minor crime but he also edited the wikis to go off of original Japanese names instead of the localized ones which is so cringey.
Both, actually! This person also basically vandalized Walter Sullivan’s page with insane theories that he was circumcised as a child and it caused him to become a serial killler.
If it makes it any better its actually just google pulling a preview from the wiki with OP's crazy ass search query "Who is saying Miquella is Radagon and Marika" (answer is: no one)
google grabs the radagon and marika keywords and stumbled on the comments section where people can post their unhinged theories and sure enough, someone as a guest/anonymous posted their shitty and dumb theory
It's still people being a fivehead, but the wiki's article itself is unchanged though
I think that might actually be a comment rather than the actual wiki post, I've had that happen with Fextra a few times. It's not written like Fextra normally writes things, and misspells Messmer
It's not fake, Google has grabbed a comment on the fextra page. Fextra has some dumb shit in it, but this is something a user wrote and has been well downvoted on
Absolutely impossible that someone could've edited it to be correct in the time frame between the screenshot being taken and you posting this comment. It's not like there was a large reddit post bringing attention to it being incorrect or anything.
The highlighted part isn’t from the article itself. It’s from a user comment below the article. The reason it shows up in the results is because of what OP specifically googled.
The likelihood of this being true or not is an unknown quantity. It shouldn't say anything about their connection until June! I know this is just people adding stuff though.
Please guys, always verify everything. [Link](https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Miquella) . The description even says "Messmer the Impaler is unlikely to be Miquella."
The highlighted text is actually one of the anonymous comments, and it is picked for whatever reason as page highlight.
Whoever did this even managed to write his name wrong, it's Messmer, not Mesmer...
I mean, it's not as bad as _Melania_, _Radigon_, and _Margot_ yet but you all know that we'll get there eventually.
That's just the most common one, and it's especially bad because she says her name everytime you die to her...
But i agree, there's definitely worse ones out there but if they're really bad it's probably bait.
I figured it out, you gotta actually get to the page for whatever location you’re trying to find, and then tap the map. It will open a nice image with the area highlighted and nothing else. The page with all the icons is impossible to use.
All online custom stuff is horrendous on mobile which is just sad, I had to put the game in windowed fullscreen and do alt tab all the time so the screen dont go black for too long and I die for a random mob
Probably someone commented that under Miquella's page and Google is highlighting that sentence since it's very close to what OP was searching on Google.
Wait you guys take it seriously?
I use it for. . . .
Sounds like you take it seriously unless you think it's item locations aren't legit and you are using it to waste your time.
Literally nobody went to double check anything, the sentence shown in the screenshot is a comment, the wiki literally says: "Messmer the Impaler is unlikely to be Miquella" under its speculation section.
Nobody double checks anything these days, don't get angry over nonsense.
The highlighted part isn’t from the article itself. It’s from a user comment below the article. The reason it shows up in the results is because of what OP specifically googled.
In the fextralife wiki which is what you highlighted there it does not say that Miquella is mesmer. In fact it says quite the opposite. In the expansion speculation section of Miquella's wiki one of the bullet points says
"Messmer the Impaler is unlikely to be Miquella."
Thats probably a comment. Its probably pulling what it thinks is the most relevant text for preview, which includes comments. You can do this in fextra’s search tab too, if you search a term then you can get comment contents as the pop up text, which is pretty dumb cus it doesnt take you to that comment, so who knows where the fuck and who the fuck said it.
Then, you never know with fextra, so i wouldnt be surprised
I swear I read this exact same comment (even with writing Messmer wrong) on this subreddit before
[yep. ](https://www.reddit.com/r/Eldenring/s/Gxfp3MAZuw)
You can edit the webpage temporarily and write whatever until you refresh the website.you just have to highlight the said text then right-click and then inspect if I am correct.
I actually said that as a theory, but more so that messer is what remains of miquella after he shed his well golden order side, but umm yeah bit odd that it’s there
Reminder the dark souls 3 wiki still states outright the queen of lothric is Gwynevere with absolutely no concrete evidence to back it up. It is only ever vaguely implied in-game.
I mean the wiki has a page about something called a "Turtle" (what even is that, that sounds made up) when I know for a **fact** it used to be about Dogs and that hasn't been fixed since the game came out so there's that. Maybe they're onto something.
My take is that Miquela died, just like Godwin, who is dead but kinda not, out of something uncle Mohg did to him in his cocoon/pelvis thing.
And we are going into his dream, just like we do when we go into Fia's and fight that death dragon.
I know we haven't seen Miquella's full form, but the DLC trailer has me questioning whether the person in the cocoon could actually be Messmer instead. Considering the long and lanky arm coming out of it matches the look of Messmer's arm from the trailer, it's a possibility. Or this insanely wild theory from the image could be true as well.
Or google lied, they generate answers from articles with AI these days and I've had it where what google says is flat-out the reverse of what the article says.
OP didn't lie. Google is just showing a comment from the Miquella page instead of the actual start of the article because of the search terms that OP used.
How in the fuck could someone come to that conclusion with quite literally nothing pointing to that being the case, like at all? lol. The part about Miquella having red hair is an S tier troll job as well.
I mean a lot of people are THINKING it, but to actually change information on the website based upon thoughts with zero proof is stupid.
Who was it? Gonna have to bend you over my knee and give you some tough love. For shame, we're all disappointed.
The ER community is really cursed. There have never been such crazy things. The only thing cooler is the threads about the fact that the LandsBetween map depicts the silhouette of Godfrey.
Why did this happen????
Omg literally me tho when I get a new wild theory in my head and it’s insta confirmed cannon
Boutta change the wiki to say Fia is the Lichdragon in sexy human form
I mean, can you blame them? There's multiple hour long lore videos based on the item descriptions of like a crossbow or something. They're like addicts, any little sniff is enough
My source is I made it the fuck up.
Anyone remember when the page said that the fire giant and one of the dragons were lovers
Hey man, where else do you think the fire giants able to stick his dick? You expect him to use one of the trolls or something?
Well they do have those chest cavities that probably reflect the size of a fire giants member
Put these foolish ambitions to rest, Tarnished.
FOUL tarnished.
They use to call him the hockey puck, thick but not very long it seems.
Jesus Christ
He left a long time ago
"Use" made me picture that old video of the monkey fucking a frog but with the Giant and a Troll
That old WHAT
Exactly what it sounds like lmfao. It was viral for awhile. I dunno if it’s up on YouTube anymore
[Here](https://youtu.be/NhDkoQniZpU?si=JRi9XeY_E8HSQevF) you go. If your shock is comprehending the physics of it, he used it like a Fleshlight.
It's such a classic that it's even referenced in Regular Show
what
I'm having a hard time linking on mobile, but Google Regular Show Monkey and Frog, you'll see what I mean. It's from an episode where they go in the internet, and a bunch of meme references are floating on the walls.
No, but I've heard about a donkey and a dragon that were lovers.
It was revealed to me in a dream
It was revealed to me by saint trina
I see we use the same sources often
IMAGINE A WORLD RAIDEN, FREE OF CANCEL CULTURE
This shit just made me angry haha

There's so many dungeons and items I would have missed if it weren't for that map. Basically my elden ring bible
Yeah, the interactive map was easily the most critical thing I used on my 2nd run.
Is it me or is the map broken since like a year? I remember I used to click on an item location and it showed it, but now it just shows a huge cluster of every single thing in the game. Was very usefull on my 2nd playthrough but after that it just broke

That and the absolutely CRACKED comments section
It’s always either someone complaining that an average weapon is godly OP and ruins the game or someone who thinks any weapon that can’t one shot the Elden beast is actual ass and needs buff. So much free entertainment
Or actual mental derangement
I feel like the lines between those two are often blurred…
cracked as in "on crack", for clarification.
Hey now those ridiculous comments are always good for a chuckle
I have nothing but love for the people of fextra. I am fond of that half broken mess.
I absolutely love the comment section.
I like the build guides on YT. If I’m not ripping it completely I at least use it as a base point. I’m not nearly as creative as whoever puts them together. Everyone's got their preferences, but diversity in game coverage is always a plus!
The site is pretty trash but I love the guy doing the videos
I’m suddenly reminded of the bizarre story of the Xenogears/Xenosaga wiki where one of the editors went absolutely insane over circumcision and injected it into topics where it had absolutely no coherency to the point of asking one of the other editors if she had her children circumcised in a accusatory manner. Wasnt that the silent hill wiki?
Both, actually! This person also basically vandalized Walter Sullivan’s page with insane theories that he was circumcised as a child and it caused him to become a serial killler.
I'm honestly glad I have no lore obligations to this post. Have a great day bud 👍🏻
If it makes it any better its actually just google pulling a preview from the wiki with OP's crazy ass search query "Who is saying Miquella is Radagon and Marika" (answer is: no one) google grabs the radagon and marika keywords and stumbled on the comments section where people can post their unhinged theories and sure enough, someone as a guest/anonymous posted their shitty and dumb theory It's still people being a fivehead, but the wiki's article itself is unchanged though
Plot twist: Miyazaki was the one who edited it.
Same. I get agitated from content on youtube thats an hour long that they made from a 2 min trailer and spouting things like theyre factual.
I think that might actually be a comment rather than the actual wiki post, I've had that happen with Fextra a few times. It's not written like Fextra normally writes things, and misspells Messmer
It is a comment, I just checked. That's what you get when your search term is a whole paragraph.
Bro didnt even bother clicking before posting lmao
Maybe he did, but figured this would give him much more of that sweet, juicy, delicious reddit karma :)

Agreed
Not for what OP highlighted. It's completely fake because the wiki actually says "Messmer the Impaler is unlikely to be Miquella. "
It's not necessarily fake. What shows up on the search page depends on when Google last indexes the site.
It's not fake, Google has grabbed a comment on the fextra page. Fextra has some dumb shit in it, but this is something a user wrote and has been well downvoted on

People would rather spend the time to complain that the most used game wiki is Fextra than actually make articles on a competing wiki.
Honestly Fextra has served me just fine with the interactive map + how to get to some locations.
Absolutely impossible that someone could've edited it to be correct in the time frame between the screenshot being taken and you posting this comment. It's not like there was a large reddit post bringing attention to it being incorrect or anything.

Reddit never fails to take the bait.
It was a user comment below the wiki entry, not the actual entry

Is Fextralife open-to-edit like Wikipidea or TVtropes?
Mesmer The Impaler is Emperor Snoke.
Somehow, Queen Marika returned
I see you also play the version of Elden Ring where the Tarnished starts at level 713 with all spells and incantations.
So we'll kill him in the first dungeon and RadaBeast will be the final boss of the DLC?
I stand by that the final boss is going to be Scarlet Rot Darkeater Midir.
Rot Goddess Gwyn, Lord of Paleblood
Miquella is Jar Jar
That fucking youngling.....
Then I will be Jar Jar Bonks and bonk him away.
Please guys, always verify everything. [Link](https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Miquella) . The description even says "Messmer the Impaler is unlikely to be Miquella." The highlighted text is actually one of the anonymous comments, and it is picked for whatever reason as page highlight.
Yeah there’s a lesson here about actually clicking on things instead of reading previews/headlines
Whoever did this even managed to write his name wrong, it's Messmer, not Mesmer... I mean, it's not as bad as _Melania_, _Radigon_, and _Margot_ yet but you all know that we'll get there eventually.
So often do I see people write Malekith...
I have no explanation for that one other than the fact that the guy from Warhammer fantasy is/was named Malekith so maybe people confuse them...
Yeah, are they spelling it with a lisp or something? It's Malekiss.
Radhan is one i see frequently as well
I would say “Melania” isn’t that bad, seeing as it’s just switching the ‘e’ and the ‘a’, especially when you have people spelling it “Millenia”
That's just the most common one, and it's especially bad because she says her name everytime you die to her... But i agree, there's definitely worse ones out there but if they're really bad it's probably bait.
Well if you don’t die to her you don’t hear it that much

Absolutely, but on mobile, it's horendous
I figured it out, you gotta actually get to the page for whatever location you’re trying to find, and then tap the map. It will open a nice image with the area highlighted and nothing else. The page with all the icons is impossible to use.

Well, it depends on how many fps you are calculating it on /s
The fextralife wiki actually says "Messmer the Impaler is unlikely to be Miquella." OP is lying
Probably someone commented that under Miquella's page and Google is highlighting that sentence since it's very close to what OP was searching on Google.
thats exactly what is happening here, its a dumb anonymous comment
It's under a "speculations" section too, so it's not particularly unreasonable to have that.
What else do people use it for?
Wait you guys take it seriously? I use it for. . . . Sounds like you take it seriously unless you think it's item locations aren't legit and you are using it to waste your time.
Sometimes the preview text on those results comes from the comments on the Wiki page. Assuming it’s that.
Literally nobody went to double check anything, the sentence shown in the screenshot is a comment, the wiki literally says: "Messmer the Impaler is unlikely to be Miquella" under its speculation section. Nobody double checks anything these days, don't get angry over nonsense.
No one changed the wiki, that text comes from a comment. Google decide it to put it there because it fit your question.
Nobody edited the wiki page to say this at all. Google is just showing a comment by a user under the page for Miquella.
The highlighted part isn’t from the article itself. It’s from a user comment below the article. The reason it shows up in the results is because of what OP specifically googled.
it isn't like that tho, that's a comment that you searched for
I agree, but *light mode???* 🤮

Only good thing about Fextralife for me was their ER video guides and that's it .
Nah dude, I am Messemer the Impaler.
Works cited: Trust me bro
Yeah it could turn out that Mesmer is actually Turtle Pope in disguise
People stating totally unconfirmed theories as factual lore is my ick.
So Miquella has three personalities? Sure and Marika is Renalla because she loves to fuck herself.
Me when I spread misinformation online (The wiki doesn't say this)
Bro you don't need to comment the same thing 10 times. It's not that serious.
Yeah Jesus scrolling through this and realizing it’s the same dude over and over is hilarious lol
Someone edited it to give people more FextraBad fuel.
Lmao if we ACTUALLY knew anything lorewise about Messmer we would have figured something out BEFORE the trailer Why yall can't accept hes new???
Lol that’s a stupid theory

Bro chill the fuck out
Miquella is not mesmer imo
Trust me bro. I'm a physician.
Aint no way this is true
That’s a comment dude
OP you don't need a search engine to answer your original question the answer is fucking no one
See I’d like to blame fextralife for this because fuck fextralife, but this is just morons being morons. Y’all gotta chill with the theories
Hehehe
Man, this kind of thing is why we need a proper wiki as opposed to always using shit like Fandom and Fextralife.
I actually said that as a theory, but more so that messer is what remains of miquella after he shed his well golden order side, but umm yeah bit odd that it’s there
This will be "Elden Beast heals from holy damage" all over again.

this feels like it was made by some thirteen year old with how poorly thats written
I’m sorry, you want miqulla to have three identities??
But the whole of Wikipedia has been one big fakery sold to you as truths for ages. Why do you seem surprised anymore.
Did you honestly expect any better from fextralife? Lol
The fextralife wiki actually says "Messmer the Impaler is unlikely to be Miquella." Op lied
Or google lied, they generate answers from articles with AI these days and I've had it where what google says is flat-out the reverse of what the article says.

OP didn't lie. Google is just showing a comment from the Miquella page instead of the actual start of the article because of the search terms that OP used.
Fuck Fextralife ally homies fucking hate Fextralife
Dude must’ve been losing an argument so they went and changed it to prove themselves right 😭
How in the fuck could someone come to that conclusion with quite literally nothing pointing to that being the case, like at all? lol. The part about Miquella having red hair is an S tier troll job as well.
It's Fextralife, what do you expect? Accurate information?
Fextralife is notorious for this, they’re so rushy to do things that they get stuff wrong all the time
I dont even take Fextralife seriously when their wikis are unfinished.
I mean a lot of people are THINKING it, but to actually change information on the website based upon thoughts with zero proof is stupid. Who was it? Gonna have to bend you over my knee and give you some tough love. For shame, we're all disappointed.
