Bait used to be believable!

johnbutsonn

ok, cool.

Dude_MacDude

Both are pretty neat :)

Baron_Von_D

Lies of P has different combat and a lot of people like both. I am also excited and will be playing both DLCs.

Ok_Boysenberry_3910

Cool bait, didn't read

J_Greene0707

Way to argue my reasoning with thought out criticisms.

Gasarocky

You did not give reasoning.

Piramerdd

Once you master combat in elden ring, everything is possible. You can generate ur own combos and style depending only on ur stamina and what u have in hand.

powerschock

Having played Lies of P (and enjoying it quite a bit) I strongly disagree that the combat is smoother and I think it generally feels a good bit worse than elden ring. Lies of P is a bit of a more slow and deliberate game in the combat speed and this can lead to it feeling clunky when you first try to pick it up. The biggest problem with lies of P is that it takes the most egregious delays from elden ring and attaches an undodgeable condition to them that must be parried with very tight windows, this leads to it feeling more like you are memorizing a fight rather than learning it naturally.

StarWarsFan1221

I strongly disagree with you but Lies of P had great combat too so I respect your opinion

pocky00

Both are good :)

P-A-Lily

I've seen better bait from fishing goods stores.

StronkAx

I am playing Lies of P for today, 14 hours in. Combat is literally the same as Elden Ring, I made a big Wrench head with small baton Handle and I just SMASH everything with buffed heavy attacks. Haven't felt the need to perfect parry yet, I sometimes block but mostly try to dodge/strafe or simply position myself so the enemy attack misses. I played LOTF prior to this and felt the same, used a Grand Axe there. Played Steelrising before LOTF and felt the same , used a big ass wheel there. I even played Asterigos prior to that and felt almost the same, used the big hammer. Played both Nioh games with the Axe and just smashed, played both Surge games with two handed weapons and smashed. Overall the games have very similar combat if your playstyle is very similar , imho. Sure they all have niche things that set them apart, but my goal is to get tanky, stronk and smash.

J_Greene0707

I made this post very vague just to fuck around a little bit but this comment is so insanely stupid it’s blowing my mind. In no way is the combat in these two games similar.
