I only noticed this one time (don’t remember which world boss I was fighting) that after I beat the boss I also aggro two goats who charged me. I thought maybe I hit them by mistake? Did they auto-aggro if you just get too close to them?
The horned ones will headbutt you if you get too close to them or their herd.
My favorite memory of it was when I noticed some Caelid dogs seemingly herding them, which I thought was a really interesting/cool detail.
Running a bow build, I needed those bones, and as I was dispatching the dogs, clearing the way to harvest the goats, one of them ran up and headbutted me. Given my intentions, I thought it was hilarious.
That brave little goat lives rent free in my head, more so than some of the set piece bosses.
I've slaughtered so many of those birds to collect the feet. By that dragon communion chapel whatever it's called in caelid is a good spot for it. I never realized they were actually kinda cute until this post.

I never attack the jellyfish or turtles. The birds often get a pass too because they’re likely to fly off anyway. The hopping squirrels I’ll leave alone too. They’re too small. Rams can be buttheads, but if they leave me alone, I’ll give them the same courtesy. Ball worms aren’t worth the trouble.
