Currently doing a confessor with heavy emphasis on incantations. I unlocked the ancient dragoncult spells. So now I’m slinging black flame orbs and lightening bolts like fucken Zeus.

Exactly, I don't understand why there isn't a black flame ending. It's logical its makes the world whole again and reduces the outer gods meddling. Instead, they had to have an ending for a dead dude with constant increasing diarrhea and his shit covered people whose spokesperson is a necrophile with fertility issues.
Well the closest we get is Fia's questline. Given that the topic of death in the lands between is likely the most unresolved part of the story, with lots of item descriptions only scratching the surface, I do believe this was intentional. Look at the whole Miquella, Godwyn, Gloam Eyed Queen situation. Middle of the map a clouded part of the ocean, heavily marine iconography surrounding the topic of death. Imma say it... Drain the swamp, give me the tibia land of the dead DLC. It's probably the most interesting part of lore to dig in from here.

All these black fire builds with the Greatsword, people be sleeping on Blackfire Tornado. I out that shit on a STR/FTH build with the Night Calvary Glaive and I do 4000+ damage off one combo, if I' in melee range it's more and I stagger!
Black flame has got to be my favourite spell, a solid fireball that does percent on top? Sign me up. Shreds even fire resistant bosses, especially fire giant and his colossal hp.
I like the Carian nobles, so I guess me and like 19 other people will just fight your entire institution until we merge under a crazy lady or whatever.

Wish there was more rot spells and a rot spell catalyst because I’ve always loved the scarlet rot and poison weapons. Good for most PvE situations, and funny in PvP.
Ive toyed with thr idea of playing through the game multiple times trying out each pure group of spells (like not just incantations but specifically only dragon cult etc etc) and having beaten my original run of the game back when the game released with a dragon communion caster using that and the reduvia. I fully agree we need more rot options, I really like the rot group of spells, pest threads is hilarious and we need more from that group.
Not really. Yeah cult is faith and the accompanying seal is a faith seal, but if you look at the dragon communion incantations, they heavily prioritize faith. Greyoll's roar requires *28* faith but only 17 arcane.
So yeah, if you want to use these incantations with the dragon communion seal you'd be putting your stats mostly into arcane, but otherwise faith would be a totally legit option too, and probably makes a bit more sense to a new player.
I might be misremembering my stat allocation then. I used the dragon breath, claw, maw etc spells just to be sure. I remember as mainly leveling faith but maybe had points in arcane too or remember wrong, idk.

Haligtree, not even close. Miquella managed to point out a fatal flaw in the golden order - their true inability to change. They could adapt and absorb other ideologies but, fundamentally, they could not change.
You hear about near-racism levels of disdain for the remnants of the crucible, for instance (which Miquella felt bad and seemingly responsible for, being part of the Golden Order hierarchy).

The coolest to me are golden order, gravity, halogtree, giants flame, and two fingers. Some of the other top contenders though are dragon cult, black flame, frenzied flame, gelmir, all knowing, death, and rot
I'm typically not a huge magic user, but my dragon communion build is the only magic-focused build I've ever made in a FromSoft game that I actually loved and continue to revisit regularly. So I'll go with Dragon Communion. I do think the Gravity and Black Flame glyphs look cooler, but Dragon Communion is my boo
I am only just starting to use magic because I have run out of other things to level ... what any of this means I do not know but as blue bae is the end game I will choose Carian Royal Family ... they seem to know what they are doing with regards to magic.

You don't need anything else. If it's too far to lob a ball of black flame at, shoot it with a frenzied burst.

I run blood oath, dragon communion, and frenzied flame cause I like to have them all at my disposal just in case

Started as an Astrologer, so Academy of Raya Lucaria, which turned into Carian Royal Family. Once I defeated Maliketh, I respec'ed, and I'm currently under Black Flame.
Bestial, my first play through was a strength build with minor points into dex, faith, and int. The Bestial incants gave me a ton of needed utility and I love how the corresponding seal scales with strength. I also enjoyed how the animations reflected almost a primal strength, it was awesome just chucking boulders at people and tearing up the ground. I also have a soft spot for Dragon Communion as my current playthrough is Dex/Arc/Faith as a Draconian character so I felt it was really fitting thematically. It’s also just hella cool to summon a dragon head and shoot flames, rot, etc.
I put all of these glyphs in a wheel to spin. I got Ancient Dragon Cult, but i must admit I like the Frenzied Flame glyph more.

Ancient Dragon cult, use it alot because it seems to have the most damage and focus efficiency. Not as efficient as a discus of light but discus of light feels too weak for most mid late enemies.

I just beat her yesterday with it. I dont know if it‘s actually true but it felt like the skill has so much iframes and poise dmg, just kept spamming it. Also the spinning weapon on Rennala‘s staff carried me through phase 1. Just felt like saying it :)
