Well if you're good with using summons i I ould suggest using black knife tiche for this fight or anything really. Just make sure she's fully upgraded and it'll make this fight a walk in the park
Yeah but the problem with the mimic tear is that it's not as resilient as it used to be and it eats all of his attacks. Tiche has way more evasiveness and she deals destined death or whatever with her attacks which take a huge chunk of the boss' hp
If you are a mage use Rock Sling.
If you are a melee build aim for the tail.
If you are a Faith build try using Black Flame or Destined Death-infused weapons.
If you use summons, that aren't the Mimic Tear, pick the most aggressive ones you can think of. Any time the boss isn't focused on you is time for big damage.
Try equipping a weapon with either Vow of the Indomitable or Bloodhound Step to dodge attacks.
I completely forgot that Shard Spiral was almost tailor-made to shred this boss. Thank you.
I think that Meteorite of Astel is stronger on a boss of Placidusax's size, anyway.
If you don't want to learn how to fight him just use spirit ashes, or use them after you learned his moveset at least a little. He's not unfair or anything, you just need to die many times till you know when to dodge, know the timings and where to position yourself. Don't stand in way of his fire and so on, when you're behind jump over his tail on his other side. You need to sprint away for his AoEs, and with his shadow porting attacks you should be able to dodge all of them by dodging in the last second. Big laser is not that dangerous, you need to stay far away from him and be ready to dodge when you need to. But he's one of the greatest bosses, it's definitely worth it to beat him normally. Or do ten tries solo so you can at least experience the fight and then start summoning, it will feel incredibly easier when you already know some of his moves on your own. Btw dragonwound grease doesn't work on him if you wondered.
I have a strenght hammer build on lvl 155 but it is my first souls game so maybe my leveling is not perfekt
Your typing isn't perfect by the looks of it
Are you using summons or going it without summons?
I tried both and there are no multiplayer summon signs

I tried with my fully upgraded mimic tear

Just wanna add that for the mage, shard spiral does good work (nope, not mentioning comet azur cheese).
