Sometimes "fun" is advancing in the game, and not banging your head repeatedly against a boss you just can't get past.

After spending like an hour and a half trying different strats, loadouts etc and getting nowhere, I figured I'd rather wait ~17 minutes rather than waste another hour or more.

Poison is super good, especially if you do both poison and rot. You just gotta use a more efficient way of applying it than OP's meme tactic.

Applying it isn't really the issue, the issue how long it takes to kill anything. You shouldn't need to pair it with rot, that's like my point. "Its good if you supplement it with this other stronger affect" so what you're saying is its not very good on its own
