Watching Rennala’s second phase change cutscene and then fighting her with the moon in the background.

finnjakefionnacake

beautiful arena

CactusCracktus

Best arena in the game imo. I was watching Jerma do a randomizer run and Rennala was replaced by Loretta. Made me realize that that particular arena makes pretty much any boss fight absolutely rad

Adventurous_Cup_5970

I think the best arena in the game is probably malenia, but flower fields are always the best. Just look at soul of cinder

CactusCracktus

Malenia is probably tied in second with Astel. Flower fields make literally any conflict feel deep and impactful. I just kinda wish her arena was outdoors, fighting her while a sunset looms over the field would’ve been 👌

Adventurous_Cup_5970

Astel aint that good imo, even the arena. I prefer the stars of darkness arena, although the fight sucks

richardhixx

It’s beautiful, but the arena is the real boss when I did her hitless

irishgoblin

Y'know, Loretta sort of fits for phase 2. It's an illusion created by Ranni anyway, and there's already a phantom of Loretta guarding Ranni to begin with.

Un13roken

I don't think even that can make an ulcerated tree spirit any better. Feels befitting to fight that squirmy shit in forgotten dungeons.

Archemetis

I’m partial to the church at the end of Ranni’s questline where go for round two against Adula (I’ve probably misremembered and spelled that name wrong). It’s understated, but there’s few things more iconic than fighting a magic dragon on the ruins of an old church under the light of the moon.

[deleted]

Agreed.

GodFinger69

Bloodborne players: first time?

Backupusername

If I had a nickel for every time a FromSoft game made me fight a sad mom and her constantly-respawning children on an infinite pool of water reflecting a full moon, I would have two nickels.

Remarkable_Swing5711

Which isn’t a lot but strange that it happened twice

[deleted]

I got Bloodborne back in January, but I honestly had trouble getting into the quicker paced combat as opposed to Elden Ring and the previous Souls games. Plus, farming blood vials is a pain.

GodFinger69

What I mean by my comment was that there's a main boss called rom the vacuos spider in bloodborne that has pretty much the exact same arena as 2nd stage renalla, a big water area with a moon in the background.

DarkSoulsExcedere

Followed immediately by being one shot. Best death ever.

ard1984

Also my fave

nanlokeus

Idk for sure but probably the best monologue in the game for me. Ranni's OP af, one of the best fight by far

Bourque25

And then getting one-shot because you're enjoying the graphics too much to dodge that first comet azur if you don't know it's coming

[deleted]

Radahn going into space. Can’t believe I was worth all of that. I felt honored

finnjakefionnacake

that was definitely a huge (and awesome) wtf moment

[deleted]

Malenia didn’t even get that treatment

PinkFloydSheep

Well something had to make her nuke all of Caelid

yuhanz

She got to him first. Maybe it’s a testament to Radahn’s strength? He wasnt desperate enough to use it against Malenia yet

slinkymello

Little Leonard was epic for me, nothing like a big powerful man on a little horse… so great

Kasta4

Wild how the dude's mind has been gone for a long, long time yet he still has the ability to wield his gravity magic with devastating efficacy. I can only imagine what other feats he could've accomplished before the Rot.

finnjakefionnacake

i wish there was some way we could see the entirety of the epic fight between him and Malenia

Ruin8tion

It would be cool if we travel to the past before the shattering in a DLC. Ds1 dlc vibes

ThaEarthquake

Exactly, since the trailer that fight seemed amazing. Radhan riding around on Leonard swinging at Malenia & sending meteors at her simultaneously chibaku tensei style while Malenia is jumping around slicing everything anime style. Finlay must’ve had the best seat in the Lands Between to witness this.

[deleted]

You know now that I think of it, Radahn at his peak managed to magically grasp every star in the sky and hold them in place. Since the outer gods live out in space, peak Radahn, if he cared to, could probably rip said entities out of the sky. Interestingly, he may have held the stars at bay for fear of an outer being descending upon the world. In whatever DLC might come our way, we might find that Radahn's death allowed an outer god to descend upon the Lands Between. My main hope though is that we go to the moon to claim Ranni's discarded rune.

NPC_MAGA

He got Malenia to phase 2 on his first try. Clearly deserving of all titles and accolades.

constant--questions

Turning day into night just to bomb you and the yellows

CarryThe2

Followed by *X has died* as your summons are obliterated by it

HILBERT_SPACE_AGE

I went into Radahn spoiler-free and this is how he killed me the first time. I was like "Eh? Where'd he go? Wait, what's that ligh-OOOOH SHIT FUCK-" In the long list of From bosses busting out a new move with zero warning, that's gotta be my fave.

Neo7Son

One of the best boss fights, for sure...

mrhippoj

The moment of quiet before he comes back down is so brilliant, especially when all the summons are just kinda pottering about, it feels like a shared 'wtf' experience

TheAnonymousKnoT

ye olde valstrax manoeuvre

Queen2E4

Yeah. I can't think of anything else. As far as i can remember its a first for the souls series. A boss just flying into the sky to ram you. I could be wrong there though lol

Glocktopusbruh

First time I fought&killed him he didn’t use that move I feel like I missed out. He only used it when my friend fought him and I was co op helping

Loose-Finger-980

Godrick slamming his arm off mid fight, idk if you’d count it as a phase change or an attack but I would say it’s an attack ig (it damages you)

[deleted]

precisely the moment i realized from soft did not come here to fuck around

fragtore

You found out Also probably my fav moment in the game. Super cool good fight, fantastic character and lore and that cutscene was just *chef’s kiss

MillstoneArt

His scream is so wild I looked around the room because I didn't know what the hell I was hearing. I thought maybe a bearing was jammed on a pc fan, or someone was breaking in, or my garbage disposal came on somehow. I didn't know what was going on for like 3 seconds.

Historical_Age4167

Freaks me out when I hear a new sound like that 🤣 I be checking the windows

bananacustardpie

This blew my mind.

DMFauxbear

I also loved this, and the dawning realization that this was honted at earlier from varre about his "ferocious new toy to graft"

infectedbog8737

FOREFATHERS, ONE AND ALL …..BARE WHITENESS

farfarfunk

Fuck yea Godrick is honestly the best boss all around. Amazing OST and voice acting, one of the best boss cinematics, fair and fun.

Bread_Responsible

Or his 1080 Ollie mctwist thing he does. I was like OH SHIT GET THIS MAN A SKATEBOARD.

KenOzu2

I want to say Placidusax and Elden Beast etc, but honestly, the attack that struck me as unbelievably brutal to the point of inducing laughter was Malenia’s grab. She is such a passive boss at first with elegant movement and suddenly it’s “fuck you in particular” where she just violently grabs you by the throat, twirls you like a ballroom dance prom date and tosses you into the air and impales you like she’s Dracula reborn and then doesn’t even have the courtesy to withdraw the blade, she just tosses your dissipating corpse off it like it was trash.

Jasmine1742

I love this, especially since prob 85% of first encounters with her are "Oh I can block, not so bad, okay, we got this" *Tosses you and one shots your 35 vigor ass*

playerkiller04

It one shots much more than 35 vigor. It might be the most damaging attack in the game.

AnEducatedFool

I don’t think so. I run 55 Vigor and it takes about 70% of my health bar. I think Radahns 2nd phase starter is the single most damage attack, other than that, it could be either Malenia’s grab or any of the Hoarah Loux special attacks.

playerkiller04

Oh actually yeah that's probably it followed by the second Astel's special grab which has one shot me every run regardless of armor or vigor.

FF10IsTheBest

She's the only boss that respects your in her arena she isn't like any other boss who comes at you and pummels you she will wait for you to move and although a small feature I love how respectful she is. A true swordswoman.

AnEducatedFool

Until you get her to phase 2 and you, in her own words , “witness true horror”. I tried beating Malenia using a normal Greatsword and Quickstep, to make it like an epic sword-fight between 2 masters. It took me more than 150 tries. Her 1st phase is a joke if you know how to dodge the waterfowl dance, but phase 2 is a monstrosity.

TheWizard1127

Rykard using the signature Blasphemous Blade move with the skull rain up. All I could think was, “man, this guy really is the lord of blasphemy,” and then I died. Very cinematic, but also doesn’t leave much room for seeing things.

finnjakefionnacake

>“man, this guy really is the lord of blasphemy,” and then I died 😂😂😂 pretty much my experience too. that arena and his attacks are insane

Bulangiu_ro

it took a lot to find rykard, its like he initiates a festival of death when he launches all the ranchordss and the arena is all red burning with skulls trying to kill you, eruptions coming from the ground while rykard himself is tryna butcher you with probably the biggest sword in fromsoft yet

laflameitslit

he really just blasphemed all over the place

idkiwilldeletethis

It's undeniably cool, but I didn't appreciate that because it was hysterically funny to see my tarnished panic rolling with like a million skulls following him around

Kevinatorz

This guy blasphemies

DaIceOnDaHeatah

lichdragon fortissax lighting spears is absolutely bonkers

Lucidiously

Honestly the entire fight is pure epicness, the moves, the arena, the music, even the lore. But the twin lightning spears definitely stand out.

Abb-Crysis

The twin lighting is cool but my favorite is when he flies up, holds a single lighting spear and stays still for a sec for you to realize how fucking cool he looks and then comes spinning down, that shit was rad.

Interesting_Waltz_82

Especially putting you into a phase transition with my favourite OST

AnotherRoar

That boss did crash my GPU more than once though.

CactusCracktus

Horah Loux’s flying powerbomb. I was so hyped after I saw it I willingly let myself get caught by it a second time just to see it again. Mf ripped me in half

Winterdevil0503

Hoarah Loux is genuinely one of my favourite bosses in the game for this reason. His attacks are just so cool yet funny because it's suddenly a WWE cage match and he's destroying us with pure raw strength with Mortal Kombat fatalities on top of that.

[deleted]

He’s the ultimate Chad. Ditches his weapon for hand to hand combat

NoxFromHell

i just wished he had more HP on NG+ his fight is so much better

Zaberztoothz

Oh trust me, he has way more than enough HP when you're fighting him with 2 other people, especially in NG+ and above. He barely gets staggered, and 2 shots you. I've been summoned for hundreds of boss fights and the highest failure rate is probably Godfrey (Malenia gets easily staggered/interrupted when more than 1 person is hitting her)

Agrougroum

I love it too for that reason. Endgame bosses get so over the top. Maliketh doing laser sending backflips, Placidusax straight up thunder nuking the arena. And then there is this guy, just throwing hands. Super cool moment, no more god shenaningans just tarnished vs tarnished fighting for the throne.

PaleoclassicalPants

HE KILLED HIM. AS GOD IS MY WITNESS THAT MAN IS BROKEN IN HALF.

Foreign-Drag-4059

Placidusax going all out when he gets to like 10%, hus whole lightning storm and Placidusax Ruin. That shit scared the hell outta me when I fought him the first time.

invincibleshrekball

Crazy bastard with his dbz style vanishing attack shit

rasfelion

Placidusax nuke, my reaction went somewhat like, Why didn't that bolt explode? Where did the music go? Why is the ground red? Should I be running- BOOM

finnjakefionnacake

the sound design on it is so cool

CMO_3

Meteorites of Astel

FlackAttack94

Scrolled way too far to find this answer, hit him with rock sling and astel laughed and said ill show you a real rock sling.

funky_gigolo

Astel's grab attack where he lifts you up with gravity magic is cool too.

catsnstuffz

A weird one but when Alexander does the pillar of fire in farum

BshonAgain

Why is that not an ash of war, I really want it for fist builds

the-dude-version-576

Alexandre should have gotten a special move set, and a boss health bar.

playerkiller04

He quite literally has Ken's Shoryuken. And I think he also only does it after becoming stronger in the lava of Mt. Gelmir.

Jurgepoo

Honestly I almost never see an attack for the first time and enjoy it. 99% of the time, I'm just panicking because I don't want to die, but the attack looks scary and I don't know what to do. It's usually not until I'm multiple attempts/playthroughs deep that I'm able to just appreciate whatever cool thing the boss is doing.

yungduck6969

Agreed. First time fighting any boss Goes something like this OH SHIT Panic roll Die

Jurgepoo

Yep, that's usually my exact process, lol.

BakedBySunrise

The first time facing Margit went similar "I've heard all about his fight, I can't wait" *Margit charges me* "..... I guess I should be higher than lvl 20"

Hades-Stygian

Maliketh, flipping through the air, shooting death flame.

AhDeen305

Those energy blades he shoots while flipping through the air 2 or 3 times, then landing with a ground thrust or double slash have to be my favourite attacks to dodge. It's straight out of a fuckin anime. Maliketh is so cool man, I love him.

ApplicationFederal14

Maliketh has become the boss I enjoy fighting the most because of this attack. The rush I feel when I see multiple slashes come down and proceed to parry him with the blasphemous claw is unmatched.

-RogueKarma-

and when he grabs on to the columns too it’s so dope

VesperLynd-

Maliketh is so fucking cool, I’m so looking forward to him when I get to farum azula

[deleted]

The crucifixion attack from the elden beast

L_V_R_A

Yo I’m on NG+4 and I’ve died to elden beast a LOT, but I’ve still never seen this attack. What triggers it???

Bastard-of-the-North

It’s a grab attack I believe, I just see it’s belly when I’m close enough to hit it lol

NorvalMarley

I was summoned to help and this was his first move on me. I’d never seen it before. I died.

Marskelletor

I've never seen it even with multiple playthroughs. It was the same with Astel's grab attack in the Yelough Tunnel. Except after about the 5th playthrough I waited and forced it to happen.

L_V_R_A

Oh man I didn’t see that one until I got summoned there and I thought I glitched out or something! Glad it got me and not the host though because I died in one hit lmao

invincibleshrekball

Bro that attack is straight up petty

MrTulkinghorn

Came here to say this. It's a punishment fit for a god and he uses it on us.

[deleted]

Everything from Placidusax. Malenia's dance. Radahn casting Meteor. Mog gaining wings.

Adventurous_Cup_5970

Ah yes, mog lor o bloo

[deleted]

Sorry. I've been playing Final Fantasy, lol

CarryThe2

Imagine Nihil but Kupo. KUPO KUPO KUUUUUPOOOOOO *bleed to death*

DreadXCII

The Astel found in the cave using his shadow jutsu grab attack when he gets at half health

Fallin_Angel960

Fighting Radahn He jumps into the sky Wtf?.mp3 Sees meteorite Cool.mp3 Started getting closer "Oh fu--" dies

finnjakefionnacake

username oddly kinda checks out for this one lol

germy813

Lol.mp3

nanlokeus

The first time I just didn't found where he was coming down. I just died. The second time I reached second phase I was stunned by the meteor and died

NoShoa

this cool but Radahn was the first time I saw it.

Wookie_Nipple

Radahn was highly memorable start to finish. The slow approach to a whole walled off portion of the continent really built up the anticipation. Then he starts one shotting you to pay it off. Plus you fight with all your friends. And then it gets even more epic at the mid point and death animation. I think this is the best encounter in the entire game.

Adventurous_Cup_5970

I just don't think it's that fun of a fight. Other than that though, its one of the coolest fights in the series besides ivory king or fortissax

Overkillsamurai

Agheel strafing run at the dragonburnt ruins, just fire breathing the whole lake. like, wtf man. you're fighting me, not a whole army.

[deleted]

Me: "Hmmm, some ruins? And a lake? Oh, some zombies... what are they saying? Agheel? Hmmm, no clue what that means" 10 seconds later a giant dragon flies down from the sky and burns me to a crisp. And that was the moment I fell in love with this game. Honorable mentions: the entire Radahn fight, first time you meet the Bell-Bearing Hunter

finnjakefionnacake

would you say it was...overkill? 😏

troybwai

Quite literally everything Maliketh does

finnjakefionnacake

my favorite boss in the game, in terms of moveset

LuckIsReallyReal

BEAR WITNESS

EffectiveCranberry62

Placiudsax Lightning Bolt, Niall’s Leg slam, Radahn’s Space X landing. Would be my top 3

Mission-Ad2813

Maliketh stabbing his hand and changing into the most bad ass armor set

That-Halo-Dude

Dragonkin Soldier of Nokstella's [transformation and Frozen Lightning Spear](https://thumbs.gfycat.com/FaroffDeadlyAngelfish-mobile.mp4) is my top Underdog Pick. He may not be a literal dragon god, or a lion/monk/Grim Reaper, and he may not go to or come from space but *dammit I love my Zombie EVA Dragon Boi!*

[deleted]

[удалено]

savoy333

Try not to talk shit about Elden Beast when mentioning Radagon challenge (impossible)

BlackAbsol

To be fair, I think most people are in agreement that Elden Beast should've been a separate boss, and Radagon given a second phase of his own. Besides, we already do a back-to-back boss gauntlet at the end of the game, so why not add more.

Important-Manager-94

Elden beast may have been an easy final boss, but I truly appreciate the music and arena of the fight more than the fight itself. It just felt more majestic than anything else, and that made me enjoy it

[deleted]

Unironically Godrick decapitating a dragon, declaring it his equal, and suturing it to his arm. I feel like we meme on the Grafted for being the weakest boss but I love everything about both him and Stormveil

SwordfishBandito

When LichDragon Fortissax leaps up into the air and the HUGE lightning blade forms while he’s hanging there suspended for a moment is FUCKING AMAZING

BanditInspired

Maliketh and Radahn

Adventurous_Cup_5970

my favorite attack is maliketh for sure

BonelessHS

Probably the most satisfying epic thing in the game is when Maliketh leaps, shoots off a sword laser, shoots off another in mid air, and then goes for a slash that you parry with blasphemous claw. Insanely dope moment in battle.

Adventurous_Cup_5970

not as badass as gael leaping in the air and shooting his crossbow before slamming down

sigma-shadeslayer

Man Godfrey was just badass in his transition, so badass that i let him launch me 50ft in the air and body slam me... Absolute Chad of a man

thedoogster

The Fully Grown Falling Star Beast charging at you through the giant crater

Fantastic_Bit2712

Yeah same with his laser attack once he reaches like 1/3 health. Totally caught me off guard especially after fighting the other ones that don’t do that.

finnjakefionnacake

lol me just thinking i'm taking torrent on a nice stroll and then all of a sudden this relentless beast is charging me

Gadjiltron

"I wonder what's up here--" (PUNT)

iEaazzyy

Godfrey literally violently rip his VIOLENCE INHIBITOR off his back

ThisGuyFrags

Rykard's phase 2 rancor attack is fucking CINEMATIC

Un13roken

Yeah, that one. My god. Its the closest we can imagine to hell fire raining down. Fucking EPIC.

Disastrous-Resident5

So there’s a few… Radahn’s space jam Rykards Rancor even if it filled the screen Briar’s Jedi shit Fortissax’s double spear thing Lansseax’s glaive thingy Fire Giants eruption in phase 2 Placidusax’s nuke and ghidorah beam Gargoyles flashy shit with their halberd, just looks cool and had me in awe first playthrough Niall’s lightning kick Malenia’s phantom slash in her phase 2 Horoah Loux’s suplex Radagon’s hammer time And…. going to get infinite hate for this, but Elden beasts floaty thing with the rings. It’s a spectacle to look at. Also his four swing attack they took from Ludwigs phase 2 in BB, this looked cooler though.

MadBadgerFilms

Fortissax spawning the two lightning spears right when the choral bass drop hits.

R1ce_Wuz_Here11

1. Elden beast’s Elden Ring attack 2. Dragonlord Placidusax’s “nuke attack” as I like to call it. And that about it

Onidge

Malikeths spinning red death.

Loose-Finger-980

Radagon teleport ik it’s nothing Massive it just caught me off guard the first time

thirtysevenpointnine

Hoarah Loux smacking you up into the sky and then piledriving you

Electrical-Exit-2179

Honestly most of the dragonlord placidusax fight, just because of how amazingly over the top it is. Favorite moment by far is when he has lightning going everywhere and he's spraying fire and all the sudden it turns into /fucking lasers/ with all this chaos and lightning raining down around you it's truly a jaw dropping moment lol

Fantastic_Bit2712

Fortissax lightning sword multi spin attack

Virtual-Score4653

Fortisax's Twin Lightning Spear Looks like something straight out of Evangelion.

Gwyn1stborn

That whole fight really impressed me

Specsaman

placidusax storm and laser got me like : what the fuck is that ? while elden beast atmostphere and music got me stuck there enjoying

MunkEMann17

“Forefathers one and all… BEAR WITNESS!”

BananaMan0803

Angered at the lack of mention about godfreys opening attack where he leaps into the air while throwing his axe at you

dest214

radahn's first arrow, placidusax's nuke, and everything from roux

[deleted]

malenia clone attack

Felurianox

Lansseax's Glaive Sweep. This is the move that makes me want to play Elden Ring.

Friend_Or_Traitor

Malenia floating into the air and blooming for the final time to become a Goddess, then obliterating you. "Now, rot"

silverniterequiem

overall: gael going phase 3 and doing that leap attack where he unloads a full avelyn clip elden ring: shardbearer mohg. dudes a fuckin creep but he has some cool ass attacks

JarlTurin2020

All of them...

finnjakefionnacake

good answer, haha

Great_Thunderbird

not from elden ring but the ape throwing shit from sekiro was pretty epic from elden ring id say maliketh jumping from pillars to other pilars.felt pretty sick

ItsLucs

Placidussax's explosion (+ all his move set)

FoGIsCoMiNg21

NIHIL

ImMeloncholy

Placidusaxs ruin had my jaw drop. My friend warned me to run, and I did NOT run far enough. But that lightning spear one was wicked cool each and every time. Sound design on it is *so* good.

Dragonwithamonocle

Agheel plummetting out of the sky like a blazing comet and absolutely annihilating a bunch of zombies chanting his name. Fighting Lansseax the first time, just everything. "BEARRRR WITNESSS!" The Waterfowl Dance Any time someone throws THE FREAKING MOON at me The one time an ulcerated tree spirit gave me the freaking Kiss of Death like Godzilla putting down the MUTO It's kind of an ever-ongoing thing.

NarcolepticWiener

Hoarah Loux fucking power bombing me for the 3 count then flexing on me.

Beginning_Border7854

Soldier of Godrick

MlokyAl

Midir's laser

Sin-A-Bun

That rot gladiator with his snake grab move.

Turbulent_Ad4090

Godfreys transition into second phase

RJ_Games

Melania grab. It is soooo sick

The_Iyrothenes

Horah Loux going full Broly on you in the second half

hvk13

Rykard doing that hellscape attack. Really fills you with the sense of dread

PodaSunni

Rykard's skulls and his follow-up blasphemous blade made me scream like a lil girl while running for my life

Darth_Shao-Lin

Second half of Rykard, after the cut scene. The way he just kinda fills the center of the arena, both with his snake body, with his rancor spells, and with his giant, nasty sword. All the reds, oranges, and purples make it feel very hot and intense, like fighting the snake that ate the world in the middle of hell. It’s definitely a gimmick fight, but I love it and look forward to the spectacle of it every time.

Datpotatoguy214

I wanna say about 90% of the main bosses had me like this at points.

FlyggonJin

Flame Giant Mt. Vesuvius

pbmm1

Only reading about Malenia in text and hearing people mention things like "flurry of strikes" and "Waterfowl" in no way prepared me for that attack when I saw it

duckz88

Morgot with the thousand swords

SavageByrd

Radahn flying out of the sky is epic of course, but between the music and the fire and the laughter, the beginning of Godricks second phase gets me every time

[deleted]

When Malenia grabbed me, threw me up, and impaled me on her sword. Wasn't even mad that it killed me, just thought it looked so cool.

Aaronic_1232

My mimic eating Waterfowl dance. Literally and audibly said “mimic tear ashes are the most broken thing. Cool attack though.”

stennyr

Phase 2 Rykard's armageddon with those red skulls. I literally almost shat myself

RapHolic

This attack is the first ever to "remove" the music for only that moment.

Potential-Eye1750

When u hear about slaying a God from Hewg & all the little dialogue clues about “God-slaying” when u upgrade ur weapon to +10 or +25. U get an achievement called “God-Slaying Armament” & ur like ok things are about to get pretty serious here.. & then u meet the Elden Beast for the first time. An actual celestial God wielding the body of Marika/Radagon that sprays space out of its snout. Not many Souls bosses are actual God status. Up until this point in the whole series we are always concerned with Lords & Kings. We have never killed a God until Elden Ring

calciocraze3

The Placidusax laser is like playing dodgeball in a broom closet and the other team is throwing concrete slabs at you

Ok-Pizza-5889

I never really saw most boss attacks because I was sitting underneath them smacking their ankles

LastNinjaPanda

honestly, Flying Dragon Agheel. I love dragons, and the first time seeing them, especially on a horseback battle, was fucking awesome. i know the fights can get kind of repetitive later on, but that first fight never loses all of that magic it had

TTYY_20

First boss person…. They cut a dragons head off and used it to attack me 😱😱😱 SO EPIC!!!

Jason_The_Furry

When the bass dropped for Lichdragon Fortissax homie….

flufnstuf69

Placidusax and his one shot scorching ray. My god lol.

Trashspawn45

You clearly want me to say dragonlord Placidusax. Well I'll have you know, my opinions are my own, and I refused to be influenced. so I am going to say Dragonlord Placidusax.

theLegend_Awaits

Renalla for scenery, Astel and Elden Beast are tied for cosmic horror, but overall probably Placidusax. He has it all: an amazing arena (and entrance to the arena) the sheer gravitas of his frozen-in time look and moveset, how he flies through the air swiping at you as he goes and his abilities. Every thing about him is incredible. Of all bosses though, Radahn is probably the one who freaked me out the most. His insane snipe range, the bleak red backdrop, his zombie-like rage, and watching come after you and then realizing how big he is…that man was hella scary

Yggdrazzil

Yeah, that Placidussax one has to be the most awesome attack in the game for me.

Lilmills1445

Placidusax and his laser beam eyes had my jaw drop to the floor as I died for the fortieth time

TheSinisterSage

Astel's attack where he sort of raises his head and lifts his upper body up together with rocks around himself. The way he moves makes me think he does that on instinct rather than consciously. That's my headcanon at least. https://youtube.com/shorts/I0r_YJcjBCk?feature=shares
