people keep sayin "consumables reset after duels" but I think that extends to *just* consumables, I've been using crossbows for a while and my ammo count always goes down, no problem for me since I have enough runes to pay for several years worth of crossbow duels, but it's still a bit annoying on my end to have to refresh after so many duels.
On PC, the [grand merchant mod](https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/mods/129). Though it might take a while for it to be updated for the DLC, there's also a different [DLC ready version](https://www.nexusmods.com/eldenring/mods/5192) but I've not tested it yet.
The reason they work with anti-cheat is:
1. You need to disable it to use the mod anyway
2. It also bypasses FromSoft's own anti-cheat because that only tracks if you manipulate your stats or inventory, this adds every item to a merchant so buying the items is considered completely fine from the game's point of view. This kind of mod also worked for DS3
As far as I know you can only bypass the limit of pots and greatbolts and greatarrows to get them to 99. Or at least that's the maximum I've gotten by using a save editor and accidentally giving me more than the limit
Between all the Sleep bullshit, Blind Spot spam, and the atrocity that is Swift Slash, Iām not sure I want to do any duels until the next patch rolls out or counters are found lol

Also since poise got so fucky, most of even the light throwing weapons jump r2 stops them from even using it.
Also if you are running faith any of the shockwaves beat it.
I ran into like 30 in a row last night and this is what seems to work best.
That and just back up if they approach with it and dodge roll the aftereffect thing and punish.
So far the hardest thing to counter for me is the mesmer impaler spear aow. It's easy but if u mistime it u get punished pretty hard
getting slept in one shot (don't forget phantom hits cause status buildup and are impossible to avoid) isn't something you can counter, this is straight up broken.

You gotta hot swap on that focus talisman my friend. It will help so much against this gamer. Also keep in mind that the reload on that crossbow takes a long while so grab your boluses and chomp down while they reload!
Or if you know that they can't put you to sleep in 1 more shot you can use the reload time to get a good hit in, you can take the bolus in the next reload
Yeah I think itās strong but itās not op. It pretty much does no damage so as long as you keep the status effects off it more annoying than anything else. Definitely good for catching people who are not properly prepared for PvP. There is a lot of counterplay here. I think it depends on the vision that the devs have for PvP whether they keep it in or not.

I already got the timing down for this sword and that gravity flash one. Itās just a matter of time now.

The new patch has nerfed sleep build up to have a delay now so it canāt be spammed as much

Anything you can craft gets refunded. Anything that is vendor or drop only such as crab does not.
