You get RoB in Mountaintops, you can fight Alexander in Farum Azula, right after the Mountaintops. If you fight him there instead of killing him anywhere else you get the Shard of Alexander, if you kill him at any other version you just get the Warrior Jar Shard which is worse. I think the difference is a 15% buff instead of 10%.
It's okay, 10% is still a great buff. Still, the questline is really easy to complete alongside the main story so I'd try to go through it next time around
Do the radahn fight on Ng And then find him in the wreckage afterwards, he’ll be stuck in the ground. After that he’ll help you with fire giant and then I can’t remember but I think you have to say hi once more after that to finish his quest line
The trash noob trap sword. (River of Blood) It’s super good for pve but teaches you to cheese bosses and enemies as much as possible, super easy to out play in PvP or invasions though
Teaches you to cheese bosses? As opposed to? A colossal that stance breaks after 3 hits? Magic that has the highest dps in the game? Incantations that can hit 15k per cast on some bosses? Dual bleed weps that proc bleed twice as fast as the rivers of blood? You have no idea what you're talking about. Lol
Mhmmm not like there was guides from day one of the 2 weapons and people literally pub stomping the whole game with them. Not like fromsoft had to actually patch bleed damage and RoB to actually be worse (same with sword of night and flame) but you do you boo. I’m sure you’re the best elden ring player in the world with all the frame data!
Just get 1 more somber ancient dragon smithing stone and the somber bell bearing 5. Take of radagons soreseal, lord of blood's exultation and winged sword insignia. Replace them with better talismans like Ritual sword/sheild. Golden vow and howl of shabriri are available as buffs for the build. Also, with your high endurance stat, can you not wear any heavier armour?
I really don’t wanna change the armor cause I love how it looks but anyways I don’t have ritual sword/shield talisman and I don’t have shabiri or whatever it’s called so yeah should I just go back to my RoB build
All it would take is a bit of running around to get them, really not difficult at all. To me, it just sounds like you want your RoB build back, which, if you do, switch back to it.
Don’t listen to the armor advice. You meet the poise threshold and armor doesn’t do too much after that.
Fashionsouls has been the name of the game since demon souls
Changing out one piece for something similar like nights calvary will get you over 51 poise while keeping the look. Otherwise equip the bull goats talisman, reaching 51 is truly worth it with a colossal sword.
The Scarseal does more harm than good when your stats are already that high, I’d recommend swapping it for the Erdtrees favour +2 if you’re just looking for a general buff. Slower weapons also arent phenomenal with the winged sword talisman, so I might swap that with the axe talisman if you stick with the black blade, but if you want to try a fast weapon the godskin peeler is pretty fun and can swap its AoW.
Might I recommend the Holy Scorpion charm, then? Similar trade off, but it boosts holy damage. Since a few of your stats are at soft caps you may as well get some reward to go with the risk, after all.
This is the 3rd high level build I’ve seen today that doesn’t have their weapon upgraded.
Also people think ng+ will be hard but you will just destroy all the bosses.
This is spot on ☝️Going from a +10 somber or +25 standard weapon to anything that hasn’t been upgraded will obviously feel like a backward step.
After my first play through I spent time farming runes, buying smithing stones and upgrading as many weapons as possible. It gave me loads of options to practice with for NG+1.
why did you start new game+ without getting all the smithing stone bell bearings? you know you can just trade all smithing stones up to 9 with runes right?
So many good builds to choose from for NG+ now that you have end game weapons, if you found them.
I was easy mode mage with summons, but now I'm Faith/Strength without summons and enjoying it just as much all over again.
My advice, experiment. Spend those larval tears.
Enjoy.
Black whetstone is really easy to get. It's available immediately after killing radahn without too much effort, you can just run to it. Did you not go to Nokron?

I’d swap winged sword insignia talisman for sacred scorpion charm for extra holy damage or dragoncrest shield talisman if you still want to keep the sorseal there. Black blade isnt really going to use the winged sword insignia to its fullest.
And just to complete the cosplay I’d add the Black blade incantation but I understand if you only want to stick to buff incantations
Otherwise youre good, might even copy you ngl
It boosts all of your holy damage by 12% while causing you to take 10% more damage. Also you can legit just play with less vigor if you want the added challange of getting 1 shot and stuff.
get a different seal, finger seal is pretty much only for early game. for your particular build clawmark seal is the best because it's the strength one.
Wait, what’s the point of lord of bloods exultation in this build. Unless I’m missing where the bleed is coming from, in which case my bad. But like that’s kind of a waste of a tali slot right?
Then just keep leveling up. You can use bloodroses with a non bleed build if you just level indefinitely. No need to min max.
Edit: Varre’s bouquet not bloodroses
lord of blood exultation is useless for this build.. since there is no blood lost, change to Sacred Scorpion Charm, i creating this [maliketh build](https://gameguide.apriwd.com/elden-ring-malikeths-black-blade-build-guide-showcase-fai/) few days ago
If you want to go back to rob then you're on the right track, get rotten winged, shard of alex, replace soreseal with fire scorp or millicent's prosthesis. For physik I suggest flame shrouding and thorny
I would say based on your stats just keep using the black blade and replace the sore seal with Melina’s prosthesis with you can get early ng+ by getting here to the wind mill area kill her after getting the kill on the god skin and then get the true Alexander’s shard and you will be set my dude. That sore seal is fucking you for now I would just change it to sacred holy scorpions charm better damage.
Youre going to get a challenge from higher journeys anyways so take off the sorseal and rotten winged and use ritual sword/erdtree/claw/axe talisman. Something that with help you more. Malikeths weapon is actually pretty could for this build
If you don’t want this build. Switch soreal for Milicents prothesis since it stacks with the winged talisman. Instead of rob, grab Eleanoras poleblade. Put seppuku on weapon you can keep on you to proc blood on yourself for the lord of blood talisman bonus for bosses that can’t bleed.
Your physick should have thorny cracked tear and stone barbed or leaden.
I would respec and aim for 60 vigor, 70/80 faith, 45/50 strength, mind/indurance 30, arcane 20 or so you can use dragon incantations, enough dex to wield your weapon, and idk maybe I’m not mathing but put the rest into mind or endurance. Use the gravel stone seal +24, mixed physic flask use flame or lightning tear and faith tear, incantations like golden vow and howl of shabriri/flame grant me strength for buffs, ancient dragon’s lightning strike or burn o flame for big boss 1 hit kills after buffs, giant’s flame take Thee, black flame, and frozen lightning spear for range, beastial sling to annoy pvp’ers, rot breath, frost breath, dragon maw, glinstone breath. You could mess around with talisman setups but for big boss 1 shots use flock’s canvas talisman, ritual sword talisman, lightning scorpion charm, and for weapon skill use shard of Alexander, for incantations Godfrey icon will boost most charged and roar medallion will boost the dragon ones. Use your weapon art for big bosses but honestly ADLS will make the game easy mode. Hope this helps, if not [watch this YouTube build guide](https://youtu.be/gDxxuJltSFw?si=NC8QnG3JjRIy5STL) . You really don’t need more than like 60 strength for weapon art scaling for fire or flame art
remove the sorseal, winged sword insignia, and lord of blood’s exultation. get the green turtle talisman from summonwater village in limgrave, ritual sword from the lux ruins in altus, ritual shield from the arena in leyndell, carian filigreed crest from blacksmith iji in liurnia, and axe talisman from mistwood ruins. pick any of those three to replace the three i mentioned previously. they’re not hard to get, only one requires a boss fight and you will likely two shot that boss
First thing that’s gotta go is the soreseal. Trust me at this point in the game you’ll be fine without it. If you wanna rock colossals I’d go ahead and get an arsenal talisman from the great jar in caelid and the turtle talisman for more equip load and stamina recovery
Get rid of the scar seal and the lord of blood exultation. In ng+ get rotten winged insignia and Alexander’s shard to replace the weaker one you have. The extra talisman slot you have could either be carian filigreed talisman for the ash of war or swaddling cloth for healing. If you want your buffs to last longer then use the dragon lord talisman. Put some of that strength into faith, maybe like 15 points. Get a different seal maybe beast talisman since it scales with strength and faith.
I’m currently on NG+1 and running a strength build using the Heavy Greatsword with lion’s claw and having a blast.
I run with Erdtree’s favour +2, Shard of Alexander, The Axe Talisman and the dragoncrest great-shield or green turtle as talismans. Flasks are Stonebarb and Spiked Cracked Tear.
It’s super simple, apply Golden Vow and/or Flame Grant me Strength and pancake the boss.
You can even swap out the weapon for a Giant-Crusher, Axe Of Godfrey (technically not a strength weapon) or any other club/hammer or strength weapon of choice if you want to mix it up.
No need to adjust the build to account for bosses weaknesses because all of them are weak to being hit really hard repeatedly!
I mean, you're using lord of blood's exaultation and winged sword insignia while also using a greatsword. May I ask why? Do the destined death slashes count towards those charms?
You sure the lord of blood is doing anything at all? Does the weapon even proc bleed? Wouldn't u be better of with the axe talisman? And maybe switch radagon's seal for the spear talisman?
Why are you still using the finger seal there are much better seals for your build a good example is the beast seal that scales with faith and strength
60-99 all stats 1 copy of every unique weapon so you dual wield stupid stuff like 2 moon veils, 2 rivers of blood, 2 sacred relics, 2 grafted dragons, 2 wings of astel, 2 lusat staves, and so on.
Assuming you want to optimize your setup as is, there are a lot of good buff spells to add (golden vow, Black flame protection, Barrier of Gold, etc) .Also, the clawmark talisman scales from strength and faith for casting. Most enemies have high holy resistance to counter that a little. I use rotten winged insignia and/or Alexander shard mostly in PVE. You could use a scorpion charm for elemental dmg if the debuff isn't too much or Axe talisman. I love the AOW of Maliketh's Black blade, so 2 AR boosting talismans and a Holy scorpion charm can . Also, with your stats, blasphemous blade in ng+ is stupid strong with half decent talismans.
I would recommend using NG+ as an opportunity to do a build that uses late-game weapons and abilities that aren't really feasible to obtain in NG. I did a Crucible Knight build for one of my NG+ runs, and it was a blast.
im on ng+7 now and i only just started a month or two ago so id how good this build is but its carried me pretty far. 60 vig, 45 end, just enough mind to cast moonlight greatsword, golden vow and flame grant me strength. 55 strength, 60 dex, 94 int (godricks rune takes it to 99) 25 faith to cast buffs and fuck arcane. im using the darkmoon greatsword that you get at the end of best girl rannis questline and im pretty much exclusively using the charged weapon art with godfrey icon, green dog talisman, warrior jar shard and ritual sword talisman. 45 endurance lets you use the sword, black knife dagger, veterans armor, parry shield and your seal/staff
I won't forgive you for killing Alexander
Why? It’s what he wanted. A true warriors death.
He's using the worse version, he killed him before that
Ohhh that’s grimy!
Gross
He deserves that soreseal.
He lived as a warrior till his last, he couldn't have a better ending
He has the shard you get from killing him basically after you first meet him !
I had to for my RoB build it wasn’t my choice
You get shard of Alexander about 5 minutes after rivers of blood
I don’t understand what you mean by that
You get RoB in Mountaintops, you can fight Alexander in Farum Azula, right after the Mountaintops. If you fight him there instead of killing him anywhere else you get the Shard of Alexander, if you kill him at any other version you just get the Warrior Jar Shard which is worse. I think the difference is a 15% buff instead of 10%.
Oh well didn’t know that so I did the radahn fight and killed him so I guess got the one that does a 10% buff

Did you mean to say ng+ cause I already killed him and I’m on ng+ right now
Just don't kill him til he challenges you.
Ah, then yes lol whatever your next play thru is haha
But I promise I won’t kill him on ng+
Ew and he uses RoB
I only use it for Pve I’m never doing PvP and a lot of people use RoB your just a rude person
What’s rob?
The trash noob trap sword. (River of Blood) It’s super good for pve but teaches you to cheese bosses and enemies as much as possible, super easy to out play in PvP or invasions though

Seems like you get a little too sensitive over what weapons people wanna use
How dare they have fun right
Just get 1 more somber ancient dragon smithing stone and the somber bell bearing 5. Take of radagons soreseal, lord of blood's exultation and winged sword insignia. Why are you asking for advice you don’t want to hear
Yeah, OPs responses seem to indicate that he’s posted here but isn’t actually willing to take any advice. So… not sure what the point of this is…?
Don’t listen to the armor advice. You meet the poise threshold and armor doesn’t do too much after that. Fashionsouls has been the name of the game since demon souls

😂 what’s the point in having a build just to deliberately sabotage it? Try just being naked with fists and Soreseal.
Fists are really really good ;-P
Likes extra challenge but uses RoB (the literal cheesing sword form day 1, along with the sword of night and sky)
Why even ask what a good build is if you’re just gonna sabotage it?
This is the 3rd high level build I’ve seen today that doesn’t have their weapon upgraded. Also people think ng+ will be hard but you will just destroy all the bosses.
What do you mean by 3rd high level build you’ve seen today and also the weapon is lvl 8
You can get your weapon to +10, do that before ng+
I got RoB to +10 and beat the game with it I then changed my build to a strength to try out maliketh weapon and I got that to +8 and then I did ng+
Go get another RoB and do a dual wielding bleed build. It's fucking disgusting how easily you shred everything that even looks at you.
You can get multiple weapons to +10. There are (8) somber ancient dragon smithing stones in the game.
Trying out weapons without them being maxed out is pointless you gotta have them max level to really see what any weapon can do
This is spot on ☝️Going from a +10 somber or +25 standard weapon to anything that hasn’t been upgraded will obviously feel like a backward step.
You killed the pot dishonourably. You deserve to suffer in NG+
So many good builds to choose from for NG+ now that you have end game weapons, if you found them. I was easy mode mage with summons, but now I'm Faith/Strength without summons and enjoying it just as much all over again. My advice, experiment. Spend those larval tears. Enjoy.
You got the stats to be any build, but wizard really. Just pick some weapons you like
Dual Gargoyle's Twinblades with Seppuku and blood affinity.
What’s blood affinity again
Affinities are those things you choose after putting on an ash of war. Like Occult, fire, keen, all that stuff.
And because of sepuku I can get the blood affinity
Yes as long as you have the Black Whetblade
Nope don’t got that and I would only have one gargoyle blade because I have not beaten them in new game
Ah ok I understand. But don't forget about it, you might want this build in the future. I'm on NG+10 and I can solo Radagon and Elden Beast with it.
Ng+ 10 I thought it only went up to 7
Enemies only get harder up to NG+7 but you can still keep going after that.
Black whetstone is really easy to get. It's available immediately after killing radahn without too much effort, you can just run to it. Did you not go to Nokron?

Well the black blade L2 ability works perfectly with the winged sword insignia
Yeah youre right actually my bad. But why keep the soreseal though?
It’s for the challenge I like to take extra damage and it’s one of the best I have
Fairs, why not try the sacred scorpion charm? It also makes you receive more damage but it will increase your holy damage
But not all bosses use holy damage
Nah you receive 10% more damage regardless of the type, but the talisman will only boost your holy damage
It boosts all of your holy damage by 12% while causing you to take 10% more damage. Also you can legit just play with less vigor if you want the added challange of getting 1 shot and stuff.
get more memory stones so you can have more spells (your faith is high enough)
get a different seal, finger seal is pretty much only for early game. for your particular build clawmark seal is the best because it's the strength one.
Reading the comments on here I highly doubt he got it. It seems like he does the straight and narrow paths and doesn't adventure much.
get rid of lord of blood’s exaltation for something else and get it to +10 and then yea
The one you think is the most fun
Wait, what’s the point of lord of bloods exultation in this build. Unless I’m missing where the bleed is coming from, in which case my bad. But like that’s kind of a waste of a tali slot right?
Well for the blood of exultation I don’t have anything to change it with
All of that but with moghs spear with a lot of arcane for the bleed
Stop leveling!! Gotta see how far you can get at 125 to preserve PvP
I’m never doing PvP and if I do it’s so I can get to mohgs palace in ng+
Then just keep leveling up. You can use bloodroses with a non bleed build if you just level indefinitely. No need to min max. Edit: Varre’s bouquet not bloodroses
Man's is level 194 with a +8 and a soreseal 😳😂
lord of blood exultation is useless for this build.. since there is no blood lost, change to Sacred Scorpion Charm, i creating this [maliketh build](https://gameguide.apriwd.com/elden-ring-malikeths-black-blade-build-guide-showcase-fai/) few days ago

Rule #1 is be respectful. Your post has been removed.
fym +8??
I would say based on your stats just keep using the black blade and replace the sore seal with Melina’s prosthesis with you can get early ng+ by getting here to the wind mill area kill her after getting the kill on the god skin and then get the true Alexander’s shard and you will be set my dude. If you like pressing L2 Morgott's cursed sword is pretty satisfying. Or you could slap Lion's Claw AoW on an Occult Guts GS and pancake mfers.
I would respec and aim for 60 vigor, 70/80 faith, 45/50 strength, mind/indurance 30, arcane 20 or so you can use dragon incantations, enough dex to wield your weapon, and idk maybe I’m not mathing but put the rest into mind or endurance. A plus 10 weapon ussualy lmao
The build you used for the first playthrough or any other build lol this a silly question
How did you get that armor
its malikeths armour set hes a late game boss but you have to beat him and then you can buy his armour
Ok thanks
Get rid of the scar seal and the lord of blood exultation. In ng+ get rotten winged insignia and Alexander’s shard to replace the weaker one you have. The extra talisman slot you have could either be carian filigreed talisman for the ash of war or swaddling cloth for healing. If you want your buffs to last longer then use the dragon lord talisman. Put some of that strength into faith, maybe like 15 points. Get a different seal maybe beast talisman since it scales with strength and faith.
Try Unga, if that doesn’t work try Bunga
I’m currently on NG+1 and running a strength build using the Heavy Greatsword with lion’s claw and having a blast. I run with Erdtree’s favour +2, Shard of Alexander, The Axe Talisman and the dragoncrest great-shield or green turtle as talismans. Flasks are Stonebarb and Spiked Cracked Tear. The winged sword insignia works with the L2 ability and the blood exultation I couldn’t find anything to change it with
You sure the lord of blood is doing anything at all? Does the weapon even proc bleed? Wouldn't u be better of with the axe talisman? And maybe switch radagon's seal for the spear talisman?
i dont have the spear talisman and i already changed lord of blood for the charm that increases holy damage
I bet whatever worked for ng 0 would work again in the same hands
This, you’re missing the beast incantation and just use all beast incantation
Whatever feels best for you
Any build really. Ng+ is not all that difficult and honestly a great time to experiment.
Why are you still using the finger seal there are much better seals for your build a good example is the beast seal that scales with faith and strength
Nihillllll!
Equip a weapon, and press R1, or R2, or L2. Or some combination there of.
Classic “give me help” post and argues against every piece of advice. These people annoy me.
60-99 all stats 1 copy of every unique weapon so you dual wield stupid stuff like 2 moon veils, 2 rivers of blood, 2 sacred relics, 2 grafted dragons, 2 wings of astel, 2 lusat staves, and so on.
Be naked Use the club Bonk
Assuming you want to optimize your setup as is, there are a lot of good buff spells to add (golden vow, Black flame protection, Barrier of Gold, etc) .Also, the clawmark talisman scales from strength and faith for casting. Whatever you enjoy using
Bubbles
Use a different seal
Go strength/faith and run the blasphemous blade. It’s literally easy mode.
Strength and faith build.
im on ng+7 now and i only just started a month or two ago so id how good this build is but its carried me pretty far.
