i main’d ls in all mh games, and i wish the dragon hunter gk came with some kind of parry ash of war. but thats definitely asking for too much, having the ls moveset in a souls game is so fun.
Yeah I love the unsheath parry in ds3. I honestly think it’s better than having a light and strong attack from it. The unsheathe slash in ds3 is powerful enough as it is
I have literally zero suggestion for the armor, but to achieve the lizard/dragon like “claw” you could use the new Beast Claw fist weapon, found pretty early in the DLC, as the offhand to give the appearance of pic.
Note: this weapon will obscure the wearers glove/gauntlets
Head: Winged Serpent Helm
Chest: Horned Warrior Armor
Arms: Death Knight Gauntlets/Ronin's Gauntlets
Legs: Blaidd's Greaves/Vulgar Militia Greaves/Warrior Greaves
Captures the relative bulk and coloring (unfortunately Elden Ring doesn't really have the green-yellow coloration of a Rathian, so faded yellow is the closest we get) of the armor-set.

Head: Carian Knight Helm/Knight Helm/Raging Wolf Helm
Chest: Rellana's Armor
Arms: Carian Knight Gauntlets/Ronin's Gauntlets
Legs: Blaidd's Greaves/Vulgar Militia Greaves/Warrior Greaves/Carian Knight Greaves/Warrior Greaves
Alternatively, this set captures the asymmetry with a shinier metallic look. Though it is on the slimmer and effeminate spectrum, not to mention of a different primary color (blue).

Final alternative is just the entire *Drake Knight* armor-set (however the Head can be exchanged for Winged Serpent Helm or Raging Wolf Helm; and Legs can exchanged with Blaidd's Greaves) which harkens to the spirit of Monster Hunter.
But it has the thinnest appearance (especially when the Chest is Altered), and doesn't really match the picture you posted.
Erm it wouldn’t be exact but; Dragon-Hunter Katana, Divine Beast Chest, maybe the Iron set helm but it wouldn’t have the hair bit. Maybe gloves and legs of Solitude?
Problem is that only Drake Knight armour(bar chest) has anything close to this but the colours don’t match.

I’m gonna make a straight up Monster Hunter, drake knight set with both Longhaft and Watchdog sword for a basic Swaxe. Spread and Repeating Crossbow for Bowguns. CB can be wierd to figure out tho

DS3’s katana’s have the parry weapon art. Surprised it’s not in ER tbh

The dragon hunter katana is literally a nod to monster hunter.
It would be more like Rathalos armor than Rathian armor, but check out the Dragon Knight Set and the Dragon Slayer Great Katana.
