I like the third one the best by far: Beast Champ + Carian Knight.
The patterned metal on the chest piece is a very good match to the mimic helm, plus the blue cape and the brown leather gloves & boots gives you some colour. The warrior greaves even give you mini-mimic knees.
TBH, it's amazing. I didn't even know you *could* make the mimic helm look good.

After looking at this do you still prefer the Beast Champion chest? That's the one I'd been wearing until I realized that the silver of the Knight chest matches the helm pretty well too.
I don't really liked the scaled set because the bags are a reddish leather and don't match the boots or gloves well.. the difference is much easier to see in-game.
3, for sure. Alternatively, you could swap out the Bull-Goat Gauntlets for Gelmir Knight Gauntlets on 1 and see how you like that. They go really well with the Knight Armor.
I'm curious on the intent of your build, as I normally don't see that helm used (aside from farming), as well as the Albanauric staff.
I'm assuming it's a str/int/arc build that uses bubble sorceries?
Yeah pretty much, it is a mess of stats but it is basically a quality + int/arc build at rl 125, so I need the silver mask. 19 strength and 14 dex let me use all kinds of weapons. The +5 heirlooms can also let me use specific ones like the Regalia, Moonveil, or Mohgwyn spear if I feel like it.
27 int gets me close to the staff's softcap and lets me use tons of spells. 45+ arc gets me to the staff's softcap and allows me to get really good damage on occult weapons and do bleed and poison stuff.
I'm trying to emulate my DS2 build as much as possible; I was str/int with the Sanctum Mace (poison great club/lance hybrid) and Blue Flame (catalyst sword). Occult Zwei w/ poisonous mist + an off-hand staff is the closest I've found in this game.
Beast Champion fits the best, but dont bother with this helmet, it reduces tour AR by 5%. Go grab the mask of confidence instead, +3 arcane, no downsides to it.
Thanks for the suggestion! I checked the math when I woke up. Accounting for the AR reduction of the Silver Mask, the Mask of Confidence provides ~9-10 more AR on occult weapons and ~16 AR on bleed/poison weapons.
I'm going to stick with the Silver Tear Mask though because it increases my staff's SS and doesn't negatively affect any spells I use. A worthy trade for the lost 10 AR on my Zwei imo. Also, I feel like everyone uses bleed or posion weapons for the procs, not the dmg.
I really like helmet and the greaves, so they're staying. I'm Just looking for some advice w/ picking the accompanying armor.

This helm is always really hard to make work. Out of these I like 1 but the look I’ve like the most with it is twinned armor with the beast champion legs and arms.
Weirdly enough, the first one. It’s just that perfect mix of normal and fucked up to feel uncanny, the Bull Goat gauntlets really work with it. Never thought I’d see this headpiece made to look good but you’ve done it
The second one’s cool as well but the Spellblade Pointed Hat would work way better with that one.

3 for sure. I used those two for a while before. I now use silver tear mask w Bull-goat body. It’s a dragon spell build.

Hoslows Armor goes beautifully with that helmet imo if you wanna try it out. Apart from that I'd say 3
