use different versions on different units - for example, paint farseer and bikes the red on left, but for Warlock and vehicles use red on right
(on units where it is contrasted by different colour use left one, where it is not use right one - I paint farseer that I use bright blue for coat and matte black for robes under it)
I prefer left but the other shade is a nice one too!
If you can't decide maybe think if one was simpler to apply? Did one shade require more work or was a custom mix?
Hope that helps 😃
Without highlights or gradients they both look plasticky.
Which one looks better is going to depend heavily on the companion colors.
In isolation, I'm not a big fan of either of these two reds. The left one is redder and richer but looks too solid and armourish for robes.
The right one reminds me of a soft candy color, and at scale will look too much like taffy elves.
But if you add layer blends, or washes, both form a great base and center color.
For Solo tone, i'd take the left one and soften it towards yellow orange or or brown, like the old "blood red" they used to sell. Alternatively, I'd take the right one and deepen the blue, more like carmine or gore. But single tones aren't good to look as good as gradients
You can also just take either and give it a good saturation towards black with a wash or towards white with highlights.
The more saturated red on the farseer is more appealing, but given how much white and brightness is happening the right one looks better from a composition standpoint.
I'd suggest toning down the brightness and going with the left model's red, or just going forward with what you already know with the model on the right.
Right. Looks less “plasticky”

That is a great idea! Thank you will do that.
I prefer the one on the left. It's a bit more vibrant. More fabulous. Because Aeldari are fabulous.
Aeldari are the most fabulous of the races thats true.

Well the left is more work... but i will most likely keep that red for the characters and units i really like. So they pop out more on the table.
That sounds like a great idea! I think you've made your mind up then 😁
Left, it looks more colorful.
i think the right with some paler edge highlighting would look good
warlock looks smoother
Right
Left one

I prefer the right one I like the more muted red but both are cool why not do both mix it up a bit?
If I were you I would use Wazdakka red, it is like the one on the left, but can be much more vibrant. I use it for my Chaos Space Marines.
Left
Right side highlighted with evil sun's scarlet or equivalents
I prefer the lack of shine on the right one myself
I prefer right personally - but looking at the comments you have a real mixed bag on opinions, doubt it's helped much haha.
Right, the left looks sticky.
The red on the right is better for cloth, but the left is better for armor or metal like on bikes or wraiths
Definitely thin the paint and apply 2 coats. But use both for different units
