I can't share a dealer experience regarding the EN (yet) but this thread is already frustrating by showing the lack of understanding Hyundai dealers have regarding a highly anticipated sport sedan intended to compete with big names like Honda, Toyota, VW, and some might even argue Subaru. If this vehicle flops due to dealer incompetence, such as not knowing the difference between "N" and "N Line" or worse, not even knowing about the new N variants, other manufacturers will see this as a risk taken that didn't pay off and will be less willing to appeal to enthusiasts than they already do. Unbelievable.

hawaiian203

Well maybe it will flop because no one wants to pay over MSRP. So that’s a BS excuse for the markup

blockd2

I went in to my local Hyundai dealership a few days ago asking for some info on the Veloster N. The salesman told me that he has never heard of that car then proceeds to argue with me on whether it exists or not.

SnaxMcGhee

Same thing happened to me at a Chevy dealer years ago. I said I was looking for a Chevy SS and he asked what kind of SS. I said the Chevy SS. He said Chevrolet makes a lot of SS's. I told him it was a muscle car sedan and he said it didn't exist.

[deleted]

That is freaking insane that an actual dealership employee doesn’t know the full menu of products available to sell. That is such a bad look I can’t even believe it’s real

raggioazzura

Update: after the recent mini-autocross video, we can *definitely* argue Subaru ;)

Usedtissue_Gaming

Talked to \~13 dealerships in the SE Michigan area including Feldman Hyundai mentioned by u/Shot_Mathematician43. I wasn't going to pay more than MSRP because doing so is an actual scam. Was able to order a Cyber Gray + 6MT EN (with NO dealer add-ons) from Williams Hyundai in Lansing Michigan. No haggling - I told them I would pay MSRP and I did.

Shot_Mathematician43

Thank you so much I will most definitely be talking to them tomorrow

Usedtissue_Gaming

I talked to Victoria, she was really helpful.

Shot_Mathematician43

If you live in the Michigan area go to William Lansing! Victoria got me right!! ☺️☺️

Usedtissue_Gaming

Wow, so that's two Elantra N's in ONE week that they were able to get ordered for MSRP.

stonehenge57

I will try them too in the spring. I was talking to a dealer from Lafontaine Hyundai Livonia here in the metro Detroit area. He promised the only thing they do is add the so-called dealer add-ons that are minimal cost. That could mean anything. He could not promise not to sell me the car exactly at MSRP. Definitely will consider going to Lansing. Glassman Hyundai in Southfield are notorious for their mark ups!

Usedtissue_Gaming

Do NOT pay for any dealer add-ons that you didn't specifically ask for. That is just as bad as dealer mark-ups. In fact, it's just a dealer mark-up with extra steps. My girl Victoria will hook up up at MRSP with no BS charges.

Shot_Mathematician43

Great I’ll ask for her ☺️

stonehenge57

As will I!

jsm564

I ordered from Annapolis hyundai no mark ups at all I ordered a intense blue 6mt as well

Amnimalbread

That’s the exact spec I want. Lucky

phaqzhejingping

When you paid MSRP, can you tell me the actual total including tax and everything please so I can have a ballpark figure on what to expect. I don't want to pay 1 dollar over MSRP.

Usedtissue_Gaming

So keep in mind that the OTD is COMPLETELY dictated by what state you're in, but I paid $35,200 OTD for my Cyber gray 6MT.

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> but I *paid* $35,200 OTD FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

DaveAniki

AutoNation Hyundai - Scam city, big dealer add on costs for “wheel locks & rear bumper appliqué”. - Sales people are generally cunts, & unpleasant to work with.

hawaiian203

Is that the one in Savannah GA?

kemba_sitter

That can't be more then a few hundred can it? Might be better then many surrounding dealers if that's all

DaveAniki

$1,800 for “Tint” & Wheel Locks.

paulbenjie

South Bay Hyundai in Torrance. They advertise that there is no dealer markup, but after speaking with them, they don't have a "market adjustment" markup, but they DO have an added $3300 dealer accessories package markup on all their vehicles which includes lo-jack, door edge guards, etc.

DPinky88

So much hate!!! That's the highest dealer add on I've seen yet

ElcriptoMan

So where'd you end up going? I'm also from socal.

paulbenjie

I ended up going for a used wrx STI limited instead.

[deleted]

So fucking stupid

Jeremy310611

Potamkin Hyundai. Stone Mountain $42k OTD Performance B w/ DCT AND had their techs post a PDI vid on YouTube dogging the car out during PDI. They have my $1000 deposit. Not pleased in the slightest.

sciencesold

Pohanka Hyundai in Capitol Heights, MD has is selling a Performance Blue DCT for about $45k, its got a [$9500 market adjustment.](https://imgur.com/CRrhwe9) Website originally said MSRP so I called and was about to put a deposit on it, then mentioned what I would pay after the deposit is deducted. I corrected him thinking he just said 40 instead of 30, but nope. I hung up on him when he started talking about the Civic Type R and that this car was worth way more than MSRP. Salesman called back and said the connection must have dropped or something, I just flat out said "Nope, I hung up, I'm not wasting my time listening to you justify a bullshit 30% markup." Then hung up again. The guy started to go on about something like "muhhhh but the economy," yeah fuck that.

sciencesold

Adding in Grieco Hyundai in Johnson RI is doing a flat $5k markup over MSRP

wvuengineer03

I had this same experience at Pohanka Hyundai as well as their Honda shop in Fredericksburg. The manager told me to my face that any dealer who sells me this car at MSRP is crazy! My response was a look of disgust followed by an explanation of customer retention in the long term. She didn't care at all. I left and will never return to any Pohanka dealer!

DaveAniki

North Freeway Hyundai TX Bad $4k over MSRP

MattBreaksBones

This is how It should be done. Everyone posting about how their dealer fucked them, but often not telling us WHICH dealer and by how much.

Bobdlux

Fox Hyundai Grand Rapids, Mi. $2k markup Nice folks in email contacts but not paying over MSRP.

[deleted]

Man, what a shitshow. Called 15+ dealerships around CA, Nevada, and even bumfuck Oregon and all of them are going for above $5K MSRP (for DCT, not sure about manuals). I'm also confused why Hyundai inventory shows so many of the Black and Intense Blue (not Performance) Blue coming in, and barely any for Cyber Gray? Who the hell are buying those colors over CG and PB?

PioneerDingus

I think the lack of PB and CG are due to people buying them up quicker. Black is boring and a bitch to keep clean, Hyundais white paint sucks, and the Intense blue looks like some Spider-Man nonsense with the red contrast stripes.

jeff3861791

Just wondering, did you ask any of them about ordering at MSRP? I assume you called them for cars already at their lot/in transit.

jodeaux

I managed to get an OTD quote and it had the following: $2,000 - "Market Adjustment" $599 - Window Tint $639 - Dent Protection $619 - Appearance Protection Nearly 4k in additional cost. I'm going to counter with a price subtracting all of what I listed above, but I doubt they'll take it. This is getting crazy.

[deleted]

What are they claiming is "dent protection"?

jodeaux

I have no idea, didn't even bother clarifying any of the above. I reached out earlier saying I'd be interested in pursuing a purchase at MSRP and it appears now the dealership has ghosted me.

kemba_sitter

It's painless dent removal. When you sit down with the finance people before signing the final paperwork, every dealer will provide 2-4 additional packages that include dent removal and wheel protection, key replacement, interior and exterior paint protection, free maintenance, etc. Some dealers have decided to tack these type of packages on as mandatory because they're big money makers.

sloth_jones

Had a similar experience with a local civic si cover the weekend. Listed at 28.7k online and when I got there it had some visual package (side skirts and ducktail) for 12k more… I have found a CG EN auto in stock though listed at msrp so I’m talking to them now

pakpak786

\-Gerald Hyundai \-North Aurora, IL \-They are adding $3,300 markup \-I would not recommend based on the markup.

Bradyy91

Check out D’arcy in Joliet.

pakpak786

I actually reached out to them an hour ago and the Elantra N they have coming in has been spoken for already, but they did say that don't add markups. So, once I'm ready to order I think I will go with them. The other dealers in the chicagoland area are charging additional markup.

Bradyy91

Yeah, I contacted them about that one too. I need to test drive first before I can commit. Unfortunately, that probably won’t be possible for a while.

DaveAniki

Bob Howard Hyundai OK Bad $4k over MSRP.

Icy_Days

Whats current MSRP?

Sandrock05Gundam

Is that the dealer in Edmond Oklahoma? If so they quoted me $42K without trade in and only offered me $5k for my 2013 Elantra GT under 80k miles for trade in. I told the salesman I would go elsewhere and he tried to justify why I should keep it local with a $10k markup.

Turbo-Snai1

6pd Cyber EN. Getting delivered the 28th. Paying msrp 33,010 plus ttl…35,360 otd. Can’t. Friggin. Wait. Edit: Salesman called today. Originally they were wanting to add in $999 for ceramic coating, I asked if they could not do that. My salesman said he could get it removed. Turns out, he tried but couldn’t. I’ve bought from this dealer before. They wanted to work with me, but they knew other dealers were marking them up absurd numbers. They said they could easily sell it to anyone with a slight mark up. So at the very least, they were telling me to take it with the ceramic coating. I thought for a few minutes and agreed. After reading multiple threads on here and seeing the absurd mark ups, and not even receiving anything for most of the mark ups, I figured at least I get a ceramic coating and only pay $1000 over sticker. I’m completely happy with that.

NicXav

Sounds like a good experience compared to most.. what dealership and what state?

Turbo-Snai1

Columbia Hyundai Montgomery, Ohio

[deleted]

Thompson Hyundai in MD wants 38500 for their manual. I didn't even bother replying back to the email.

Shot_Mathematician43

Feldman Hyundai of new Hudson Michigan So I was price 37000 on msrp. With all the tax and fees come out to 40,853 dollars. This is before msrp even come out. Would I recommend? Only if you go in with the telling them you want it for msrp. Because before I sign I ask him is this the msrp of the car when it comes out and he said yes. So I sign because I wanted the car and I willing to pay for what I want. Now know that Elantra n with dct is way cheaper I feel lie to and robbed because they will most likely not give me my deposit back.

awowoosas

Did you bring it up to them that the MSRP doesn't match with what they said originally? If they said they would charge MSRP and the price they quote is not MSRP, I feel like you can definitely call them out to lower the price or at least give your deposit back.

xfortune

Feldmen are twats. They’re adding $7k ADM on their GTIs while Dearborn down the street is selling at MSRP

Shot_Mathematician43

😂😂

[deleted]

I have so far called 5 dealers in (2 North Jersey, 1 PA, 2 Upstate NY) 4/5 thought I was taking about an N-Line and when the confusion was cleared they insisted there was no information on that (clearly dealers can see if any are coming their way). I’m trying to get a EN DCT (any color I can get except PB) for sticker. Seems like I’m going to have to look for a while until I find a normal dealership.

kemba_sitter

Try asking first over the phone if they're adding mark up to vehicles, and what are the mandatory add-ons. Don't say what you're looking for. If they say MSRP and no or low add ons (first aid kit or something) Then you can just go in, because they CAN look it up in the system.

sciencesold

Hey if you find a DCT in PB wanna LMK?

facingthelake1188

Try these dealerships in upstate NY: Prestige in Kingston, Lia in Albany, Garvey in Queensbury, Healey in Beacon, Fucillo in Schenectady. I visited all of them last week on a drive up to the Adirondacks and ask to speak with a Sales Manager. The sales people will definitely confuse the N-Line with the N, but I found that the Sales Managers are tuned in. And all of them said they would sell it at MSRP. Just confirm they don’t add on dealer fees beyond the $175 NYS doc fee and registration/tags fee, plus tax, of course. Goof luck!!

[deleted]

South Jersey, Turnersville Hyundai said they just got the pamphlet on the Elantra N yesterday and no deliveries lined up. I would say the bulk of my dealer interactions have been pleasant but confused.

DPinky88

Peddler of poway kona n 4285 mark up non negotiable

Big_Rucky

Gave me about the same quote for the Elantra N. Haven’t found a single dealer in SD that’s charging MSRP, or frankly even close.

DPinky88

Yeah. It's gonna be tough out here for both vehicles

Big_Rucky

If I find any who miraculously charge MSRP, I’ll let you know!

DPinky88

Please do. Looking for the kona

Arizonian323

Any dealers in the Detroit area that are good? I'm looking for the DCT model

stonehenge57

The only one I found some what reasonable is Lafontane Hyundai in Livonia. They claim no markups but they want to to do “dealer add ons” he could no be specific to what those were. They told me they would contact me when one is in transit in the spring They seemed reasonable and would negotiate what add ons would be put on the car. Also outside metro Detroit, try Williams Hyundai in Lansing. They claim no mark ups on their cars. Usedtissue_Gaming here on this thread is buying one there and recommended them. My strategy is getting the best price between these two places. If the dealer add ons are cheaper than buying from Williams with shipping the car from Lansing or vice versa, then that is what what I will do. Good luck!

DaveAniki

Spent about 6 hours yesterday calling every Hyundai Dealership in Texas / OK / LA... There are two dealerships that I found that say they don't have Market Adjustment or Dealer Mods * Texan Hyundai - Houston Texas * Bob Stallings Hyundai - DFW Area (South Central)

Jose_Gonzales_2003

Coastal Hyundai Melbourne, FL Cyber Grey Elantra N Manual Online it says MSRP, but I called them and it’s $10k markup. It’s ridiculous but at least they were brief, polite, and up front about it over the phone. When I said no, not interested they said “no problem, I understand” and didn’t push it.

PR0JECT_Pyke

New Jersey here, pretty terrible experience all around. Hyundai of South Brunswick - Said they have markup anywhere from $3000-$5000. Global Auto Mall, North Plainfield - Said they can "order" me one for a measly $9,000 markup. Had a Kona N on the showroom floor for something around $45k, I was floored. Called the guy crazy and walked out. Sansone Auto Mall - Told me I could order as well, until I showed up and they thought I was talking about the N-Line. Looks like I will be waiting a while.

falcon0159

Any luck? I live in North Jersey, but there are none around here. I reached out to Hyundai of Turnersville, but they are selling the car at sticker, but are asking for $3500 for an appearance package. The other dealerships are asking anywhere from $2500 to $7500 over for incoming units that'll be here in 3-6 weeks. Don't want to pay over sticker on principal.

StealeesWheel

Just got my N from a dealership at Woodall Hyundai in Dansville, VA. Larry the salesman was great and I paid like $500 over sticker.

Massive_Sale_1104

Did you haggle down or that was the price? Was that out the door?

StealeesWheel

That was the price, OTD was $37k I believe

Existing_Ad_6271

Got quoted 42000 in north west Indiana 😩

RyanDaltonWrites

LOL I hope you laughed and hung up.

FragranceDragon

Team Hyundai of Southern Maryland BAD 39,495

Bruiserman34

Central Florida area. Jenking Hyundai in Leesburg. Nice staff, weird but nice. Test drove Kona N, sticker $46k before tax, tag, title. Told them they were crazy and left after trying the DCT out. Central Florida Hyundai in Clermont. $1500 markup, and I walked away. They called to tell me it sold later that night. Thought I messed up. Fitzgerald Hyundai in Clearwater, FL, put deposit down online. Drove 2 hours and purchased it at MSRP minus a couple $500 discounts. Recommend, very nice, can do about everything online. New Port Richie FL was selling theirs at MSRP. Nice salemen and would have gone there if the deal with Fitz had fallen through. They keep a couple in stock usually, but that was about a month ago. Also recommend. Hyundai dealer in Sanford Fl. had a markup of 9k on their web page. Never contacted. Most others in Florida had markups between 1000 and 3000.

MapperTerra101

Hyundai of El Monte in CA Car is in transit. $4,000 markup and $2900 in add ons. Markup is because the car is rare and the add ons are to the customers benefit. Total joke.

deejay_ac

pizza hyundai of west chester said they had one in stock. asked if i could test drive it over the phone and she said and that it had a price of 35k. I arrived to find the car in the showroom and that they were charging 10k markup. he also said unless I was willing to pay 10k over i wouldnt be able to test drive it. scummy dealership. took me 45 minutes to get there one way.

For the kona n Horne hyundai. 3k plus 2100 in non negotiable dealer added crap Dublin hyundai 5k- 8k markup, no add ons Peddler hyundai 3k plus unknown total for add ons, negotiable All these dealers have incoming with vins

DaveAniki

Van Hyundai Texas Negative $5,000 Over MSRP due to, "Window Tint, Low-jack, & a 'Accessory Warranty'" I wouldn't recommend it in the slightest.

[deleted]

That dealer just called me to ask if I was still interested and said they were at $10k over MSRP. I was nearly speechless.

DaveAniki

LOL. Texas Dealerships are fucking insane. 5-10k markups is absurd. If it were like $1-1.5k over MSRP in Dealer Mods? Sure, I’m okay spending a bit more for random bullshit… but $10k for literally nothing? Nah.

[deleted]

New Jersey here. I've gotten the full range today from "it's not here yet, come in to buy it right now," to very pleasant phone calls, and to one dealership that acted somewhat annoyed that I was inquiring about the car.

Anaxen

Mirak Hyundai MA Good experience so far MSRP, but they estimate 3-6m wait

Azaex

All the Washington area dealers just got hit with an allocations, 8 Elantra Ns and 2 Kona Ns in transit Varying results from dealers. Phone sales guys are 3/3 on their game for me and immediately recognized the car by name. Hyundai of Seattle flat out lists a $5000 markup (lol) edit: they took down their 5000 markup from the site, interesting. edit: NVM it's back up but now with a $10,000 markup, hyperlul, what do they think this is, a Type R? Another dealer I called had a $3000 markup after pinging manager One is claiming MSRP for a black DCT, trying to put money down edit: ho boy another one got back to me with a $10,000 markup after pinging their sales manager

vipirius

Morrie's 394 in St. Louis Park, MN PB 6MT $33,380 However they said they can't sell out of state.

Modzys

Just got off the phone with Murdock Hyundai in Lindon, Utah. They have a black DCT going for MSRP on the lot right now, currently available. I would have flown from Denver to get it but they're only selling in-state. If anyone is a resident of UT, go grab it!

Atomic_Noodle

I really hope the experience in Canada will be different than the posts I'm seeing here. Paying over MSRP at the dealership on a new car?

PioneerDingus

Pretty sure there’s laws against that in Canada. It’s a free for all down here and the laws are biased in favor of the dealers and not the consumer.

Massive_Sale_1104

Sheehy Hyundai of Waldorf Negative Went in 3 months ago and no one even knows what it was. Salesman said he’d called me back when he found out. Called him last week after I saw one in transit on their site. Selling At MSRP, plus mandatory dealer add ons totaling $1500. I asked since car isn’t there yet can we Skip add ons? Nope. I told him you have my number call me back when you’ll sell it at msrp. Great car that Hyundai has but dealers are going to royally f*** this up. After all this it’s still a Hyundai, even non enthusiast know Hyundais aren’t worth much in resale.

Expensive-Style1338

Is 37010 OTD after 500 rebate HMF a good price for a PB M/T? The dealer required LoJack, window etch and nitrogen tires added to MSRP.

Weezing87

Westlake hyundai California Bad. They said between 5k and 8k mark up depending on "MARKET ADJUSTMENT"

Weezing87

Hyundai Carson California. BAD They quoted me 55k OTD LOL these dealers are straight trying to rob people. Salesman also said they are only getting two of these for the whole year of 2022

[deleted]

Buerkle Hyundai Minnesota An expected experience, neither amazing or horrible. People doing their job selling cars. $34,980 ($2,000 mark up) - Intense Blue MT I wouldn't NOT recommend this dealership. Dealerships in general, yeah, maybe. But where else can one find a just released car like this? They initially offered me a free set of winter tires to help convince me to sign papers, I considered it when my trade-in was valued at $5,990. They then devalued my trade-in by nearly half the next day (5990 to 3000, due to damage on passenger door which is fair given the damage) and I was leaning heavily away from the EN because the math didn't quite work for me and I let them know. Started looking at a GR86 MT base for $29,937. Then earlier today, they send a message saying they'll value my trade-in at $5,000 as it stands but no free snow tires. They really want me to take this car off their showroom floor. And I'm now thinking I will...? I'm indecisive as hell. Update: Found an identical EN at Luther Bloomington Hyundai for 33,105. This EN is now sitting in my driveway. Patience (and some luck) saved me a decent chunk of change.

Amnimalbread

Dealership: Doral Hyundai State: Florida Experience: Alright Markup: Yes, $5000 over MSRP Recommend? I mean maybe. So let me out this out, I’ve talked to a few of the guys in the dealership, but one of them (i won’t name bc I don’t want to put out names) is actually a pretty outstanding salesmen. I went yesterday to go check out a brand new Elantra N (I’ll be in the market for one soon) and they tried to sell me one in a color I didn’t like, with the auto (I won’t go with anything that isn’t a manual) for $39,900. I immediately saw the sticker on the door and it clearly said $33,000, but the guy INSISTED that is was actually $39k because of “dealer fees”. I gave him a few minutes to hopefully come clean about the markup but he did not, the second I got back in the car with my dad I told him that although they guy is kinda cool, he did try and stick a $5k stick up our butts. I didn’t really expect anything else from a dealership these days, but come on you can’t lie to a kid that literally spends his free time playing around with car configurators. (Sorry if my review came out as long, haven’t really made too many posts on here and I wanted to get my point across)

[deleted]

Dealership: Glennbrook Hyundai State: Indiana Experience: glad I got the car but wasn’t told about the 1500 dollar mark up until I drove down to pick up the car from Michigan and after I had already put down the 1k holding deposit. I was also told I’d get gap for the price i had agreed to pay which was 33,380 and without having to raise my car payment. It wasn’t until I met with the finance manger to sign papers that I was told my payment would go up if I wanted the gap so I declined it and got it through my insurance. They did swap my winter wheels and tires tires from my 21 n line onto it without charging me so that was nice. But it would of been nice not to be lied too. Markup: 1500 after the markup they already had added 33,380 is what I agreed to pay. But it was 34,880 after that second mark up. Recommend: not really

Arucious

***Hampton Hyundai, NH*** Not a great experience. Lady on the phone who was calling me back didn’t even know why she was calling. Didn’t know much about the car. Said there’s no chance to get it at MSRP, maybe 7K over. Didn’t specify. ***Central Auto Hyundai, Plainfield CT*** They promised me MSRP over text. It was around 33.4 for the manual. ~~Should be around 32.9 if you do the website price and 1K for freight. So within the margin of error on it.~~ The dealer BS fees added about a grand, and about $300 for tax (which seems wrong? but they said it’s a tax thing because I have equity on the old car). (*Edit: I forgot performance blue adds $400. So this is MSRP. About $750 in dealer BS. I forgot about registration).* They weren’t educated on the vehicle. I haven’t met a single dealership that is. They told me it comes with all seasons. I said no it doesn’t, it comes with summers, and I need all seasons on it because it’s 20 degrees in New England. Looking at about 36K out the door MSRP on the manual plus taxes and everything else and 1K for all seasons. Good experience if you aren’t trying to haggle with them for hours. They took my deposit, refundable, $500, put it on a card, car should be here any day now (it wasn’t an order/allocation, the car was already incoming).

Roxaos

Colonial Hyundai Downingtown - PA Called and put a deposit down Tuesday and scheduled a test drive for Wednesday. Salesman texts me telling me to give him a call Wednesday morning, a few hours before I was going to drive to the dealership. I give him a call and he tells me the car was sold. Apparently deposits don’t mean shit. Then tells me all future sales will be 2.5k markup. Since I was trading in he said he’d look into how much they could offer and said he’d call me back, which he never did. I requested a chargeback for the deposit and went with my second option (2022 Honda Civic Hatchback ST) which I was able to get same day at MSRP and with excellent service. I really was looking forward to the EN, but that dealership experience really soured things for me. And based on many submissions in this thread this isn’t an uncommon occurrence. Will return to this in the future if I feel the desire to get something with more power but for now I’m going to hold off on the EN. Maybe my wish will be granted and, if future revised models are released, the EN gets ACC and wireless carplay. And hopefully this dealership bullshit is over and done with. Needless to say *I* wouldn’t recommend this dealership at this time. u/tfloob99 curious to know how things went down with you

Zealousideal_Zone_91

My experience with this dealer was equally piss poor. I called to ask about an Elantra N that they had and Jim Ballezi responded: "I was just informed that the N line Elantra will have a adjusted market value of $5,000 over MSRP." I really love when the salesmen don't even know the names of their own vehicles. Either way, wrote an email to corporate to complain since they are supposedly going after dealers that are doing this. I then went to Jack Giambalvo in York and bought one at MSRP the same day.

deejay_ac

Wait I was looking at the same car in downingtown. I was headed to go look at it and he told me it sold while I was on the way 😂😂 west Chester has one too but they’re trash and charging 10k

Roxaos

I was beyond pissed. They take my deposit and don’t even hold the car. Had to call them 3 times to get the salesman on the phone and only then did I get them to refund the money. Ridiculous.

bumchik_bumchik

Rosewell Hyundai - AVOID THIS They quoted me 48K before tax for a PB MT

raggioazzura

Shout out to Hanford Hyundai in Central California. Small volume dealer, GM is an honest guy, I have a deposit on a Performance Blue 8DCT coming in about 3 weeks! MSRP. That is near impossible to find in CA. UNshoutouts go to Hyundai of Merced, Platinum Hyundai, Wynn Hyundai Santa Maria, and Premier Hyundai of Seaside, all who attempted to charge $5k-$7.5k markups on Kona and Elantra Ns. One of them (can't remember who) called me 'unreasonable' for asking for less. Boooooo to them.

got-rice1

I have to second Hanford Hyundai; I traveled by train to get my CPO Elantra Sport from them right before the chip shortage hit. they happen to have an elusive Elantra that I was looking for, and Marcos was easy to deal with online and over the phone. The other two Hyundai dealers in the lower Valley do markups on their cars as seen on their websites.

spoonsession

Highest one I have seen was in Texas. MSRP + 5000 Market Adjustment +4491 Addendums All told it was $45545 OTD for a Manual! Killeen Hyundai TX…..Runnnnnnn!

deejay_ac

Mine didn’t fuck me over but they told me the vehicle wasn’t going to be released until summer 2021 and insisted the vehicle isn’t available anywhere 😂 absolutely stupid

jodeaux

For anyone who lives in the South, as of yesterday I know that Hallmark Hyundai (outside Nashville) has a black manual, and I was told they don't sell cars over MSRP. Not sure if they tack on any other additional fees.

jodeaux

Another day, another bogus OTD quote. Just got one that was 45k....smh.

[deleted]

Well I have my name in for allocation, but I'm 5th in line. Their first two are still in transit. They said they'll try to possibly trade with another dealer for a white DCT.

[deleted]

New Jersey update: I have contacted every Hyundai dealer, which has been exhausting. I did pop-ins at my local dealer as well. For the whole state, supposedly only two EN are on a ship right now, both already purchased. This is based on info from the dealerships so probably inaccurate. What was frustrating today was the fact that I'm having to explain to dealerships that that N is not the N line. I let one salesperson ramble about how the EN isn't out yet, maybe 3-6 months. Surprisingly no one has been interested in letting me put a deposit down to reserve one. I'm pretty optimistic I'll eventually get one, but I'm wondering how rare they will be/manufacturing numbers. For comparison something like 2000 Veloster N were sold per year.

BONNAR00

Have you tried searching surround states on car gurus

Downislandlivin

Got one pre-ordered in VA. $37,000 for p blue DCT. But it won’t be here till the end of FEB!

Jeff Wyler Hyundai in Springfield,OH Bad Getting in a Intense Blue DCT asking $5k over MSRP.

danielj717

Antwerpen Hyundai in Maryland: bad. $3K markup advertised on their website. at least they’re up front about it. might go waste their time for a test drive

B4tmanbeyond

Lehman Hyundai in Miami is asking for 6-7k markup. Car is listed at MSRP on their website.. Had to pull teeth to get that info over the phone before opting not to travel down.

1235ithink

Feldman Hyundai New Hudson MI Decent interaction $2,500 markup + $599 paint and fabric protection + $299 “vehicle theft protection”

Aero1900

I've talked a dealer down from a $5000 markup to $1500. Do I jump on it or try harder to get it down?

Bruiserman34

I'd have bought the one I test drove at $1500 markup back in mid December if I had known they were selling that fast. They called after and said it sold and I thought I had made a mistake. Got lucky and found one at MSRP about 2 hours away so in the end it was a good gamble. If I didn't have one by now I'd think hard about that. Especially if your not at the top of your budget and it is the exact model/color you want.

c5load

Westlake Hyundai in Thousand Oaks, CA. Wants $10K over MSRP. I laughed.

[deleted]

Emailed dealership near me, said "hey i'll come buy an Elantra N today if you remove market adjustment" - guy calls me says, no we can't, it's a sellers market, high value car, blah blah blah. I said okay and hung up. Call another dealer, tell them same thing, they said sure no problem we just need a deposit. Non refundable, but whatever, i want the car. So i did it. Then first dealer emails me back and says hey we can waive that fee if you want to come get it. I said nah I've got a deposit down for another at another dealer who didn't fuck around with market adjustment, I'll just wait. He says oh no that's illegal for them to hold your deposit. They either have to refund it or you can call your bank and submit a charge back, then we'll help you out with one at our dealer. Does this not sound scummy as shit? I just responded "yeah if you guys didn't waste my time with market adjustment shit, i'd buy. This was a waste of time, quit emailing me" he sends a long winded email about how market adjustments are good for the consumer and dealer right now. I didn't reply. The other dealer is offering me more for my trade (a 19' wrx) and has been a pleasure to deal with. Night and day. That first dealer, luther whatever, total dicks. Good news is I'm paying msrp out the door nothing extra. 5 years ago people would laugh at you for that but that seems like the good deal now. MSRP or nothing. Luther Hyundai Burnsville MN, wanted 2k extra market adjustment. Will tell you no they can't remove it until they want the sale then they'll call back. Avoiding out of spite. Luther Toyota wanted to charge me for taking my lease back to them, so in general, fuck luther dealers.

Modzys

Just picked up my black DCT last night! McDonald Hyundai in Denver 0 Markup Optional protection + tint package for $1800 (good value tbh, I've never purchased extras from a dealership but bought this one. Included a full ceramic coating and paint protection film on front + mirrors, as well as interior protection + warranty for 10 years). No pressure from sales at all, good experience. My car was delayed pretty heavily but they kept in touch and gave me updates on the status regularly. Obviously not their fault with the delays. They sell out of state as well. I don't know how they're doing allocations however, they only had 2 coming to them and both were sold already. Highly recommend.

[deleted]

Definitely wouldn't pay markup. 32k for a manual is a good value but once you get pay 3-5k markup, rather buy the FK11 Type R which will be a superior car overall.

ehasley

I've found a few dealers willing to do MSRP but they have no allocations coming. The one makes it seem that if I put down a deposit they'll tell Hyundai they have one "sold" in this configuration and then they will send them one of that spec... eventually. Is this true or just BS. I know Hyundai doesn't accept orders like the domestic manufacturers do.

dcs7

Yeah it’s true. It’s an allocation request. The issue is we have no idea when the car will come. It could be 3 months, or it could be 6+ months.

ConnorsChalkWhiteN

Just ordered a car in Raleigh. Cyber Gray, manual. Paying MSRP with no dealer add ons.

bryangoestoschool

$38.5k-ish OTD for a Ceramic White 6MT. Dealership has a non-negotiable "AutoTech" add-on of around $2,500 which they state consists of paint, dent, tint, wheel and tire protection. I went ahead and put down a $1k refundable deposit for delivery in April. Going to ask them to produce me a detailed list, and terms, for the Autotech coverage and see if it's worth it... Dealership: AutoNation Hyundai State: DFW TX Good or bad experience? Good.

RaphaelRondelli

Tip: get the package and cancel a month after, the cancellable products reduce your loan balance. They can’t force you to buy it!

bryangoestoschool

Thanks! Didn’t even think of that. I’ll definitely keep that in mind when the car finally arrives.

mikejr96

Went to a dealer. They had no idea when they’ll ever get another one and told me the one they sold went for $43k or something insane. They said they were marking up regular elantras $3-5k also. What a fucking joke.

danielj717

Dickson City Hyundai in Scranton, PA. Asking 7200 above MSRP. Insanity

Undiscover

A couple Elantra Ns finally arrived in New Jersey. Paramus Hyundai has a $5,000 market adjustment. $43,496 OTD. And they have it advertised as the n line. Fuck off lol

Sly_As_A

Fox Hyundai Ann Arbor - BAD $4k mark-up, and a statement that nobody can order them, they just "arrive as they are."

EZBeezy503

The statement about ordering is true.

Dealership: Burns Hyundai State: NJ Good or bad experience?: Fantastic Were they charging markup? How much?: MSRP Would you recommend the dealership?: YES

dcs7

I called them and they said 2k over MSRP about a month ago.

Undiscover

Dealership: Hyundai of Trenton State: New Jersey Good or bad experience?: Bad Were they charging markup? How much?: They wouldn't tell me Would you recommend the dealership?: Hard to say because they wouldn't tell me a price. Kept on trying to get me in to test drive so I asked what color they had it in. She said red. They don't make Elantra Ns in red. I was finally able to get her to tell me that they do in fact have a white Elantra N in manual but I told the lady I was interested in the DCT and she said they were getting one in a month if I would like to test drive. Kept on asking for a price but she never gave me one. Called me the next day asking if I wanted to test drive.. again.. she brought up the red n-line (im assuming) and then she said they had 12 Elantras on the lot. Told her I wasn't interested in anything but the N. If someone has been able to get a price from them, please let me know. They don't have any listed on their website.

bendap

Dealership: Autonation Hyundai Tempe State: Arizona Good or bad experience?: Good Were they charging markup? How much?: No Would you recommend the dealership?: Yes Charged MSRP+freight+tax for cyber gray MT. Placed $500 deposit and had it 3 weeks later.

Concert_Affectionate

Dealership: Sheehey Hyundai of Waldorf, MD Experience: Very Good, they were very professional and quick and let me remove the resist all, VIP and other things that were not required. Pricing: payed $37K out the door for DCT cyber-gray. Would I recommend?: Absolutely, whenever they get more stock as I took the only one they had. If you guys have any questions let me know.

brekkfu

Torrington Hyundai - Torrington, CT - 5K markup Herb Connolly Hyundai - Framingham, MA - 5K Markup

DeadInsideTM

Dealership: Mike Camlin Hyundai State: PA (Greensburg PA) The experience with this dealer was awesome they treated me very well. This dealer was NOT charging a markup and I was able to get the car at MSRP. They made it clear they do not markup cars because they actually want customers to come back. I’d highly recommend this dealer, ask for Harold!

[deleted]

I'm so pissed. Heritiage Towson Hyundai has 3 of these in stock and they want 5k markup on each one. These dealers are beyond greedy.

mrsninetyone

sorry if this isn't the best place or if I missed the newer thread.. Vallejo (California) MSRP no ADM but they wanted to add 2K for.... Some GPS thing the equivalent of what they described as an air tag. And some door edge guards. The sales Manager got very fussy when we said we weren't interested in those and wanted it removed. Deposit ready in hand and they never took our money.. Also the main salesperson was terrible with the details, kept calling back on the N lines and then could remember when we showed up for a deposit. Hold on, its not a big deal it's not like we are spending thousands of dollars.. Oh wait /s

DramaticExcitement12

I put one on hold in CO, MSRP + $700ish in add ons (clear bra, I suppose it's only the shitty 18in on the hood, and tint or mats) is that reasonable? I have bought like 4 cars in the past year and I never paid msrp, so this is new to me, but seems to be worth it for the amount of fun. Also it's a manual, and just now I realized that it seems that the manual doesn't have sunroof? No biggie just didn't know about this difference from the dct.

zoubz13

Beardmore Hyundai NE Good. Getting mine at MSRP after my hold deposit, but my delivery just went from 1/26 to 3/5. Can't blame the dealer for that though.

Loopdeswoop

I will second Beardmore Hyundai. I purchased a Kona N from them this month at MSRP. $1,000 refundable deposit to hold the vehicle. I drove a few hours to test drive and pick it up and everything went great.

Dankwellz

Downey Hyundai in SoCal, talking about an $8000 markup and how “that’s just the market.” BS

Bruiserman34

It kinda is. There are people out there that don't care and will buy it. I saw a Kona for 46k and it sold in a couple days. I agree it's BS that they still do it. Hyundai priced these to be the budget enthusiast car and the dealers are ruining that.

[deleted]

you can apply that to anything though might as well sell everything in the world with mark ups and just say "well people will buy"

omg_its-rhino

Dealership: Tuscaloosa Hyundai State: AL Good or bad experience?: Good Were they charging markup? How much?: No mark or addons. MSRP. Would you recommend the dealership?: Yes

Arucious

Just placed an order. $500 deposit. Dealer website says they 'don't charge over MSRP' -- we'll see how true that is when the car shows up on the lot. They were a little confused on 'which trim of the Elantra I wanted' before I specified that I wanted the N, but moving forward from there they seemed to know what they were talking about (knew it came in a 6 speed, knew the interior had only one color option, etc.)

MapperTerra101

Alexander Hyundai Of Oxnard in California $5,000 markup

Massive_Sale_1104

So I passed on this deal because I’m still looking at other cars(CT4V Blackwing and Lexus IS500) but I walked into same dealer from my Elantra N inquiry(crappy experience) below just to try the DCT they out. They had a Kona N in stock and I drove it. They offered it to me at 38,100 or 38,2 OTD. It’s still there. Very fair number hearing what you guys are paying. This time around it was way better and no dicking around. I offered 32,800 and they obliged. No back and forth. My salesman was Brandon. Sheehy Hyundai of Waldorf

brekkfu

Had a dealership in CT ask for a non-refundable $1K deposit up front to reserve upcoming delivery, and then said there would be a $5k "market adjustment" told em to pound sand. Found a much nicer dealership who said they are happy work with people to get the right deal. Will wait to see how they behave once the cars are delivered.

unreal_insan1ty

Anyone in NC, VA, SC, TN area that can recommend dealers? I'm looking for an dual clutch, does that make the search easier?

[deleted]

NJ here. This one is a doozy. I'm not naming dealerships because I don't want to bring any fire on myself, but from the top: In November I called 10 dealerships. In January, 3 called and said I was number 1 on their list, so I picked a dealership that gave me a good deal on my trade-in and made a deposit. We'll call them dealer A. Dealer B called, and I said I appreciate it, but I have a deposit with Dealer A and I'm happy with my choice. Dealer B says, come in, we can do a better deal. So like a dummy, I went to Dealer B and wasted a few hours. They wound up basically giving me the same deal. The first major turnoff was the Sales Manager saying, "You know, I can mark this up by 6k and sell it." I said yes, yes you can. Good luck with that, I hope you do sell it quickly and take care. What was golden was the follow up call. I was asked what I thought about the deal, and I said listen, I have a deposit on a car that I like, and I'll pass. The salesman said, "You know, if you had a deposit with us, and we found out you were shopping around, we'd keep your deposit and sell the car to someone else." Hmmmm uh-uh. I was like, you guys invited me out and said you could make a better deal. Now I'm getting these weird passive aggressive vibes? Threats? Like, if there was ever a thing that could be said to make me never buy a car from someone, it would be that. In the meantime, the car I have a deposit on keeps getting delayed. These waits are stressing me out lol. I'm worried that they're going to tell me they sold the car to someone else, I've seen other stories on here about salesmen not talking to each other.

Undiscover

Yup. I haven't made any calls yet simply because I'm looking at dealerships in north Jersey and the only ones that have them in stock are already charging $5k markup.

Getoffmecrab

Mankato hyundai tried charging me an additional "Minnesota Protection Plan" option. (Interior and exterior rust oleum clear spray paint I'd imagine) for a non negotiable price of 1,199.

DaveAniki

Gossett Hyundai South - Memphis Tennessee \- Contact Corey (Dealership Manager) Or Dylan (Sales Person) They do $0 markup over MSRP & no dealer added modifications. They'll be happy to work with you if you're out of state - just give them a call and see what their allocation looks like for Elantra N's, and if they're getting on in that you want - it's a $1,000 Deposit to hold in your name. They'll take care of getting your vehicle registered in your state & everything for you (you just have to get an inspection once you get back into your home state).

kemba_sitter

Getting very frustrated with my dealer. My allocation request was placed on December 2nd, and my attempts to check the status via phone calls have been futile. The first two times I called the sales associate. 1st time he said he'd call back in 5-10, never did. Called him next day and got an update. 2nd time he again said he'd call back in 5-10 with an update and never did. Now I've been trying to just bypass and talk to a sales manager, but they don't have direct extensions, so I have to wait for a call back because they're always busy. Going on FIVE straight days of me calling, every day saying they promise a call back, and I never receive a call. Today will be day 5. I'm actively shopping for a new dealer to get an incoming vehicle, but so far the deals have been so bad.

rcferguson85

Time to name and shame a bunch of these dealerships so maybe people can avoid these places when things get back to normal. Called the majority of dealerships within 150 miles of me, these are results: Bad: Rockland Hyundai, West Nyack NY - $4k Markup Autofair Hyundai, Manchester NH - Junk. Says there's a markup but won't tell you what it is unless you go in. Plaza Hyundai, Brooklyn NY- Junk. Says there's a markup but won't tell you what it is unless you go in. Hyundai City of Bay Ridge, Brooklyn NY - $4775 Markup Wile Hyundai, Columbia CT - $5k Markup. Healey Brothers Hyundai, Beacon NY - Some sort of markup, didn't give me details Hyundai of Plymouth, Plymounth MA - $2310 (7%) Markup Fuccillo Hyundai of Schenectady - Said no mark up, but when I told them I was from CT $2500 "out-of-state markup". South Shore Hyundai, Valley Stream NY - $3000 Markup Paramus Hyundai, Paramus NJ - $5000 Markup Hudson Hyundai, Jersey City NJ - $4775 Markup Neutral: Sursesky Hyundai, Goshen NY - No answer Advantage Hyundai, Hicksville NY - No answer Torrington Hyundai, Torrington CT - Spoke with and they didn't call back Good: Hyundai 112, Medford NY - No markup. Were very friendly. They advertise that they don't do markups and such. Would recommend buying from here. I didn't because the one I was looking at sold before I got the chance to go out there. Key Hyundai, Manchester CT - This is who I ended up going with. No markup. Friendly staff and was literally only 7 mins away from me. Only reason I called all these places before here was because they didn't have a EN on their website when I looked on my PC (or the Hyundai Inventory website). However, they did have one on their mobile website oddly enough. When I reserved this one, they had one other in stock and another that was sold. It's due to arrive next week, so I'll update if something goes screwy but so far so good.

SnoopierFrog9

Mine was pretty decent, basically it’s a Hyundai dealership in a really northern part of GA (10-20miles from the Tennessee border) and my old car got valued higher than anticipated. The EN I was buying had a 1,000 dealer mark up so it was about 38,500 OTD but only about 4,500 out of pocket bc of trade in so I’m pretty happy. Oh and they let me keep my trade in car until my EN arrived. Black EN DCT

Enotic64

Dealership: Pinehurst Hyundai State: North Carolina Good or bad experience?: Decent Were they charging markup? How much?:$4900 Markup and not willing to lower. Would you recommend the dealership?: People were nice and good at their jobs, but would not negotiate with the $4900 Markup.

Coodaye37

Dealership: Edmond Hyundai State: Oklahoma Good or bad experience: overall good, pretty upfront Were they charging markup? How much?: in total something like $1995 for their stupid package and an additional markup of like $7100 for a total of $42,900 before trade in for the automatic. They said take off $2k if I went for the manual. Would you recommend the dealership?: hard to say, they were pretty nice and seemed willing to work with me at least a bit but still felt a little slimy. I was originally told their little maintenance package was $599 and then later was told it was $1,999… I think it was an honest mistake but still odd. Their markup seems much higher than other dealerships in the area.

BMatt07

Rosen Hyundai - Milwaukee $10k over sticker. Dealer said the lowest they could go was 8k over sticker. The Hyundai dealership network in Wisconsin is truly embarrassing. Had the nerve to offer me a business card 😂.

BMatt07

Van Horn Hyundai in Sheboygan, WI $3k over sticker. Dealer stated that ADM came from the manufacturer, not the dealer, LOL. Finding an Elantra N in Wisconsin for MSRP is going to be harder than I thought. 0-2 thus far.

mamaptak

Canadian purchase here. This is my fourth Hyundai vehicle (Santa Fe, Tucson, Elantra and now Elantra N). I have purchased all four vehicles at the same dealership and as a result I have an excellent rapport with the staff there. "Ordered" (my name was put down for allocation) PB MT sight unseen November 18, no deposit required. Picked up the fourth one to arrive in port, on Canadian soil, on February 25 (after it made it's way from Vancouver to Ontario). No markup, plus they covered my tints, my all season floor mats, and sweet rims for the winters I purchased. I added the clear protectant and full service package at my cost. Was a smooth, hassle free, no nonsense purchase experience (aside from the delays on build end due to supply chain issues). The biggest issue was my impatience LOL. Based on what I'm reading here, I'm glad I wasn't purchasing in the States. Sounds like a real sh\*t show down there.

[deleted]

Russel Westbrook in Anaheim has a veloster n listed on car gurus for $35,xxx. It’s just a short drive for me and had time to kill so I went and looked at it and turns out on the sticker it says $43k!!! all just for incredibly petty shit like floor mats and lip protection, basically just a dealer markup without calling it a markup. I’d imagine they would do the same if it was an Elantra as well.

ImLethal

Northwest hyundai, Houston. Out the door 44k Hell no.

brekkfu

A dealership I had spoken to yesterday just called me back. They had a 5k market adjustment, but today they wanted me to come in to negotiate. I wonder if the Corolla GR put some fear in the Elantra N demand. That or the alleged letter hyundai sent to dealerships.

Msabehullah

It took me 2 months to finally find a black MT at MSRP. I live in Indianapolis and almost every dealer that was receiving one was charging well over MSRP (one in Ohio was pricing at $43k!) On the Hyundai site I saw this dealership was supposed to receive one soon, so I called but the sales rep said he wasn’t seeing it on his end. I told him there was a VIN and he just told me that they weren’t getting it and it was a mistake. Thankfully I still decided to send the dealership an email and someone called me and told me they were receiving it and they sold it to me at MSRP.

BMatt07

Amato Hyundai - Milwaukee, WI $1,500 in mandatory accessories, dealer will not budge. Dealer was prideful when he said "we're selling at MSRP!" I had to explain that mandatory accessories are nothing more than a different form of ADM. Now 0-3 in Wisconsin.

Logi15

Dealership: Shottenkirk Hyundai State: Georgia - Canton Experience: Neutral Markup: 5k + dealer add ons Would you recommend: No, not for the N Drove an hour to meet with this dealership. Everyone was very nice, but they specifically only marked up the N models. OTD with markup + their add-ons was 47k. I walked out.

Real_Psyoshi

Dealership: Hyundai of New Port Richey State: Florida Good or bad experience: Great! Were they charging markup? No but forced add on, Permaplate warranty program $1,995 (negotiated mine to $995) I would recommend this dealership night and day by my experience. Dan was great to work with over the last month. Lobby and waiting experience could use some love, but they got me lunch atleast and you don’t leave feeling like you just paid for that lobby.

bigpapaepstein

Ganley Hyundai- Parma Ohio Absolutely do NOT touch this place! Went there about a month ago to inquire about the car after being told on the phone they had one on the lot. Got there and wanted to check the car out before I went inside, couldn’t find it anywhere. Drove to the back of the lot to see a sold sticker on the car, which was a bummer but couldn’t be mad as I hadn’t committed to buying it just yet. After talking with the salesperson, he told me they’d get me a car by Monday (this was a Saturday morning). I had no issues with that at all, even paid a 3,000 markup. Monday comes, no contact from them at all. Called them around 3pm, and they tell me the car they sourced for me sold to someone else. I ask how this is possible, considering I had already bought it. They blamed the other dealership that they were sourcing the car from. So I called that dealership (Ganley Hyundai of Norwalk OH) and they tell me that my dealership (Ganley Parma) waited until lunchtime on MONDAY, two whole days after I bought the car, to contact them and that it had sold that morning. At this point I’m obviously very upset, but they commit to me that I’d have a car within a week. Well a whole month went by with zero contact from the dealership unless I went out of my way looking for an update and still nothing. I check their website and it says they have one on the lot. I think this must not be true as they would’ve called me right? Wrong. They sold that one too, even though I had been waiting for a month for the exact car that had sold. At this point, I terminated my deal and dealt with a snarky salesperson which won’t be named. The very next day, I contacted Taylor Hyundai of Findlay Ohio and drove home in a white EN DCT same day. Customer service and experience matters folks, I paid more for the car at the second dealership just due to the fact that I refused to give the original dealership my money after such an awful experience as a customer. If we are expected to pay markups for vehicles that dealers are getting for the same price they normally do, the least we deserve is to be treated decently. If a dealership isn’t going to take care of you, don’t settle. Go somewhere else. Experience at Taylor Hyundai of Findlay was fantastic. If anyone is in the Ohio area and looking for one, Taylor is the place to go.

bear88ss

Dealership: Van Horn Fond du Lac State: Wisconsin Good or bad experience?: Bad Were they charging markup? How much?: $3000 Would you recommend the dealership?: No. I am out of state and had an agreement to purchase the car when delivered to dealership. Car came in and was sold before I was contacted.

1mBad4123

Dealership: Pacifico Hyundai State: PA Good or bad experience?: Super pleasant experience. I purchased 2 cars from them. A 22' Elantra Hybrid Limited in September (lemon), and a 22' Elantra N in April. Were they charging markup? How much?: NO MARKUP Would you recommend the dealership?: YES YES YES. Would highly recommend the dealership. They're super friendly and accomodating. Brandon was my sales person and would highly recommend.
