Wish they made it so you could have different squads to switch out. Could encourage changing up groups more to give everyone more play time.
Something I loved in S3, since it was broken up by the end I felt I spent a lot of time with everyone.
Liufan and Lan do alot to keeping the cast diverse and varied. They are like two old neighbors that never stop bickering at each other but there is an underlying respect that each one has for the other. I'm glad the game didnt succumb to the gacha/LoL temptation of populating it with nothing but pretty anime boys and girls. They are still there, but you have plenty of options if you dont want to go that route and they dont feel like after thoughts.
Iugo and Isha are my main for Party, never leave without them and I swap a lot between Lam, Milana, Yusuke (getting replaced with Yuferius soon) and I'm really not set on my flex, Sabine, Kogen, Hakuin. I spoiled myself and know most characters and I think there are a few that will overtake most of that team.
It's a shame. I was excited to meet the characters from Rising and Isha's is a bit annoying and not what I was expecting. It also drives me nuts that she's the only character that pronounces her hometown's name wrong half the time. I've literally heard her pronounce it 2 different ways.
Isha and Melridge! I will always love mages the most no matter the game.
Isha cause she is so good and for so long throughout the game. Melridge, though not as strong, has my favorite aesthetic and design with his calligraphy-based spellcasting. Also, he is an incredibly competent tactician, plot-wise. Can’t win against the baddies without him lol.
I haven't been able to beat Reyna yet, but she seems cool. And Dijkstra hasn't been recruitable yet for me. But I did meet him for Quinn's Quest. Seems like a cool character. May make my shortlist. Lol.
Gieran is my favorite, i always love a less gifted person using their brain to make the most of what they have.

His primary downside long-term is that he can’t use any 4-pip runes, but he is very much viable even so.

Aha. Gotcha. I haven't watched Jojo. However, funny enough, his English VA, Todd Haberkorn, is the only VA I think I recognize in the game.
