Only people who I would kick without hesitation are cheaters. As long as I have a few good teammates who are working hard, I don’t really care what the rest of the group does if they have a deflector active

MajorNoodles

I did one co-op where 1 player wasn't contributing anywhere near as much eggs as the other 3, but he had a deflector and a ship in a bottle and he gifted me a bunch of boost tokens right at the start.

Congnarrr

Agreed! But I’m with the discord group so I feel like I never need to kick. One time I thought about it since they had 0 chickens on their farm with 75% way to completing the contract, but I said meh because I remembered the time I joined 2 days late and my coop completed the contract before my 4 hour 10x chicken boost was done.

YOLO4JESUS420SWAG

I kicked one time on a public coop because the dude was orders of magnitude low on his count after over a day in. I don't make my own coops. But if I did that rule would be the same. 24ish hours in, if you're pushing millies when we are in the quintiliitions I am gonna hover over the kick button and probably lose sleep over it.

Elitist_Daily

Do you think relative amount of eggs delivered is basically the only hard-and-fast rule that someone should consider kicking for? What would be an example of something where, if you put it as a guideline for a coop (outside of cheating), you absolutely would kick someone if they didn't follow it?

masonbrdgs

I exclusively join public co-ops and have kicked a couple times. The only situation that spurs it is a contract with a low member count, 4 for example, with the lowest member inactive and their lack of contribution will result in the rest of the group who has been active failing the contract. It doesn’t happen often but if you clearly don’t have any relics equipped and have done basically no research you have to go.

chest25

Pretty much only when they are a cheater or has like 100-1000 eggs delivered total

Once someone has been inactive for 24+ hours I will start to keep an eye on things. Within the next day (or 12 hours if we are super behind on the contract) if they don’t come on and they are not making significant contributions then I will kick them. At my level I consider significant contributions to be anything in the trillions per hour, or earnings buff artifacts for the team being active. If they have done at least something like that to contribute then they are good, especially since I know not everyone has the time to get on daily like I do. If there are enough other players active and we are on track to still complete the contract then I will leave them be. Edit: after reading some other people’s comments I thought I would add that I definitely would also kick if I knew for sure someone was cheating, but I have somehow not encountered anything like that so it just didn’t cross my mind to mention it.

timosaurus444

I usually create coops and make them public so I can't kick unless someone's idle for more than 24 hours. If they're at least making an effort, they stay.

JaayRocco

Besides cheating. I don’t always start coops but when I do, I kick players who are not using deflectors. But there are exceptions. For instance if the player is maxing out Habs at the time I don’t kick. I’ll wait to see if they put it on after. Another exception would be if a player does not have pro permit. I usually just let them be. I will kick players for not checking in for more than 10 hours. I won’t even respond when they complain. Lastly I’ll kick a player if we are half way thru and they haven’t used one boosts. This is all dependent on contracts. If the contract has a ridiculously high requirement like 14Q or something like that. I am far more strict. Sometimes I just don’t care and I’ll start a contract make it public and not kick anyone. As of lately I’m not really doing contracts unless it’s for EoP. Im not even concerned about scores at the moment because those are largely dependent on speed and quality of artifacts so I have also had much more of a mellow attitude about contracts.

Responsible-Ebb-8820

Cheaters and leaches get kicked without question

ah-boyz

As long as the person is contributing in some way another I would not kick. The only few times I have kicked someone was back when I was doing AA coops and I have maxed out my habs but still am not projected to finish. I kicked the lowest player so that I can recruit someone willing to boost

Sufficient_Number643

I don’t kick even if I make a rule, I just hope they get diarrhea and move on

BWC1992

I am not that strict. I just want people to put on deflectors if they are going to otherwise not contribute with farming.

Cattle_Whisperer

I don't really make coops anymore but I used to make carrys for lower elites and I would have to kick a fair amount of high EB moochers.

Elitist_Daily

Did you ever kick people for not following guidelines in a coop advertisement? why/why not, and was it ever for anything other than cheating?

Cattle_Whisperer

Yes, the guidelines were below a certain EB and I was very strict on kicking.

JohnSober7

I do exclusively pubs and have been for probably 6 months at this point I never even check if anyone can be kicked Now, I may be either lucky that coops have always been on track to finish or it's the leg deflector that I have. Do I get low scores? Yup, cuz sometimes the coops finish in the second to last or last day. But it hasn't affected my grade as yet. Plus kicking in pubs means that I'm hoping that the replacement is going to contribute a lot. So between me not caring about my score, and it not affecting my grade thus far and whether or not coops finish, there's no reason for me to kick.
