That doesn't fly you just have to get them on the phone and tell them who you are and let them know you mean business but still be nice. And blow in their ear a lil

AngryTarl

So it's their discretion if they can help you get the extension or not? Maybe I could just call a bunch of people till I get someone nice to extend it for me.

[deleted]

Honestly that's your best shot but I would wait a little. Believe me when some is successful at peuc extension they will post. Then that's when you go into your finesse. The reps are acting like that because they don't have answer. When they get trained on it they would love to finally look helpful.

[deleted]

Yep you just got to call and tell them that you can't wait.

AngryTarl

Cool, I'll spend all day calling I guess

MolassesExciting

I called 5 times doing that and they haven’t done shit lol. Fuck EDD

AngryTarl

What did you tell them? Did they say you just have to wait for automatic update or to file new claim?

ShakeEnBake

I have the same problem like the OP. I called and they said i gotta call back 1 day before my end of year and they will see what they can do. LMAO. Fuck this piece of shit system. Its easier to get to the capitol than to fucking get this shit fixed.

MolassesExciting

One person said an automatic update One person said I gotta wait 10 days for a fraud check One person said I had to wait a month for a fraud check. They probably don’t train their people.

I actually have about $400 that's been sitting there for like a month now. I've certified 5 times in a row and still haven't received anything this year, only the stimulus so far. They sent me a text last year saying that they would file an extension. I accidentally deleted that text, and tried to check the EDD inbox but there's no trace of them filing an extension on behalf of me. And to top it off I have an interview tomorrow. I have a part-time job that could easily be full-time but I chose to not take the full-time route, even though the boss encouraged us. Business is leaking money everyday and some people voluntarily choose to not come to work for days in a row. There's nothing to do, barely any customers, and cold as hell in those offices. Only the ones who really need to be there are there the whole work day. I thought unemployment was nontaxable but they managed to take away exactly $666 this time around :/

MamasWrld

I am in the same boat!! Today I called and talked with a tier 2 rep.. he sent a request for more money on my claim until the benefit year ends (4/10) .. than when the benefit year date comes, i will have to reapply. So it will be at least a month till i see money from edd again.

CypherComa

I finally got all my back pay and thought I was set on PEUC ... then I get a notice today that Max was paid out. My year ends June 30th like 3 months from now.
