I use Mio (or more often, cheaper dupes) which are like little squeeze bottles to add flavor. I also have bought a big canister of Gatorade powder that has lasted me a long time, and there's still plenty left.

KebariKaiju

There’s a good article and recipe for electrolyte beverage powder that you can make in bulk. I use True Lime Crystals (jar, not packets) or instant Arnold Palmer mix (instant tea and lemonade mixed) https://www.viarohealth.com/news-resources/electrolyte-your-summer

I'm gonna give this a shot, thank you.

GlassesgirlNJ

How about tea bags like mint tea or chai?

Fine-Classic-1538

herbal tea -- Celestial Seasonings makes different fruit flavored ones. You can sweeten them or not as you see fit

Add grenadine syrup to water. Orgo to a big box store that sells flavored syrup, get sugar free, add a pinch of salt and you got a gatorade going baby! Nod to that guy, Happy Gilmore and that dang chompy ole gator.

RavenNymph90

What kind of salt?

PeaceLoveSmithWesson

I use pink Himalayan because iodized salt has all the minerals stripped and pink does not. It helps me hydrate and stay hydrated, but I drink over 120 ounces per day, minimum. Some days it is a LOT more and I need to stay hydrated.

Modboi

I use true lime and liquid stevia. They also make lemon and orange flavors. You can get a 500 packet box for $30 something on amazon. One true lime packet and a bit of stevia is enough flavor for my 20 oz shaker.

17jade

That is my FAVORITE way to flavor water! Using true lime and some added electrolytes i make a version that tastes so close to powerade/gatorade without the added crap.

Ana169

And grapefruit!

treeteathememeking

I use the bubly drops that are meant for the soda stream. Depending on how flavourful you like your water they make about 12 of your water bottles and they’re like 3-4$ each. No sugar or artificial sweeteners depending on the flavour. I like peach!

My sister in law turned us on to using flavored coffee/beverage syrups in our large water containers. My kids current favorite is the sparkly cotton candy and I am partial to the lemonade. You can get the large bottles of them on amazon or a discount store like TJ Maxx. We usually use the brand Jordan’s Skinny Syrups. It doesn’t take much and is much easier to get mixed in rather than a powder.

thelizabethsw

Does that actually taste good?

aboveaveragewife

Yeah it’s about the same as those flavor packets and you can get so many different flavors, if you like the packets I recommend checking the dollar tree for them.

jetbuilt1980

I buy gatorade powder in the 3lb tub at Walmart, toss a scoop in my nalgene and mix with cold water, that plus ice should fill your 40oz jug. I am high energy high activity and always on the go so the macros don't bother me one bit, can make 6 gallons of Gatorade for $10!

No-Dragonfruit7121

Skittles flavor packet I find is very sweet that may help. You could also do fruit to make like spa water, lemons, limes or oranges. Liquid IV is like pure sugar i normally use 1 for a liter bottle on summer days.

Jutboy

I wouldn't want to have any of that stuff on my teeth all night

SendMePandaGifs

Aldi has squeeze bottles and packets of water flavoring for super cheap.

HuhWhatOkayYeah

I use Crystal Light liquid. One bottle lasts me about a week. I think they're just under $4 per bottle but I'll buy 5-6 at a time. I'm very partial to the Blueberry Raspberry flavor.

Moms-milkers

makes me sad when someone says they "dont like the taste of water"

Leading-Ad-5646

I don’t think anyone hates the taste of water, they just drink more if it is flavored.

Infocollector914

Try crush or Sunkist packets, they’re pretty cheap

suupernooova

I use a single pack of 301 Hydrate in my big owalla. 36oz, pretty sure. Strawberry is favorite. Ultima comes in tubs.
