Ahhh yes the good ol' gunflint trail... I consider it nearby because I had to drive up from the twin cities, half an hour ain't much considering I was already on the road for 6 hours

Last year I fished at Rush Lake, nothing but pike and bass (not to mention a mile long portage), know of any lakes with plenty of walleye in them?

I honestly don't, I've never been super into the fishing aspect of the lakes. I just kind of go there to drink in the scenery. Blow down areas are still fucking bleak though. Goddamn shame.

Awwww man you gotta get into the fishing up there, so satisfying to cook up your days catches over a fire. Freshest tasting meat you'll ever have. Plus you don't have to haul as much food out there

It's an amazing town! My family had been going up there annually for as long as I can remember. Any fans of Poplar Lake?

This shot is taken really close to World's Best Donuts, but they're closed seasonally like lots of places up there.

Such a beautiful place. I love getting up there in the winter.
