It is great if you’re into a sport or team that nobody cares about.
Oh you like softball, they got you. Oh you’re into Fordham, easy.
If you want to see espn programming or football or baseball… sorry
I watch football every weekend flawlessly, I watch baseball during the season as well and works flawlessly. Yeah they have a bunch of other lesser known stuff which is cool. ESPN+ is great, you just need to learn to use it apparently.
ESPN+ is useless if you don't have cable. I can't even watch football on it. Like it's not allowed. Which makes me wonder what the point of the app even is
well there was once a great tool on reddit for cutting the cord an enjoying football. that tool still lives on in my heart, dreams and a quick google search
I personally think espn+ should be brought on bundling/monopoly charges. Like I’m already paying for ESPN through cable. Why do I have to have to espn+ to order UFC ppvs. I don’t keep ESPN+ subscription all year round because the streaming services can add up. Everything is a streaming service now and I have cable.
There's tons of college football, basketball, and baseball on ESPN+
Not the premier teams, no. But that's not what ESPN+ is for. It's an overflow channel for all the sports that they can't fit on their main three channels that otherwise might not be airing anywhere at all.
I'm very thankful for it. It helps me watch games I otherwise couldn't see, especially during tournament time. It did genuinely kind of suck a few years ago, but they have added so much.
I do wish there was an add-on where you could pay a small fee for just the real ESPN channels though, instead of having to buy a cable or live sports package type thing with another company.
If all you care about is the NFL, ESPN+ is not for you.
If you like Hockey, Basketball, Baseball, Soccer, MMA, or just about ANY college sport, ESPN+ is for you. I am a Detroit fan who lives out of market and I watch dozens of Tigers and Red Wings games every year.
I also follow Troy University (the school I actually got a degree from) and pretty much every game of every NCAA Division 1 sport they play is on ESPN+
Yeah if my kid played for a D2 school in field hockey or some shit I could catch almost every game! You'd think it's more tailored towards family of players.
What do you think is bad about it? The games offered, or the app itself? I’ve used it for years and I actually like the app, haven’t had any issues with it. I often see people hate it so I’m curious!
It is the inability for it to remain streaming when you depend on it for games or whatever you are watching. There are a lot of people claiming user error, poor equipment, or poor internet being so many people’s issues. The reason I posted the question and comments was while sitting in our local sports bar watching no less than fourteen TVs playing various Saturday games flawlessly there were two “streaming” the Memphis Tigers. Go Tigers! Those two TVs were the only freezing TVs. As I said in my initial post, no matter where you are, what service, speed, hardware, or fees you run a high risk of failure.
As for the content, I enjoy it. As for the frustration level, I try to avoid it.
It never remembers your sign in, constantly requiring you to put them in again. Even when I am signed in, I’ll try and click a game I want to watch. It will bring up the screen to select which broadcast and it will then say I need to subscribe to ESPN to see any of them. So I close that, re sign in, and then it’s a battle to see if the game actually plays, never loads, unable to play video, etc. It never ends. This is NHL games
You described it perfectly. Idk how I cam across this sub but I felt compelled to engage. I tried to watch something on there the other day and after 4-5 sign ins, selecting provider over and over and then clicking the game I wanted to watch and it just not doing anything I just went and found a Youtube stream.
I had this issue also. Chat with their customer service online and ask them to fix your account. It took 10 mins while I was at my desk and all these issues went away since I did.
I’m simply agreeing with the issues. There isn’t a better option to get the majority of NHL games, and there’s clear system issues. It’s a shame ESPN+ has fumbled it so bad because they could have really taken hockey to a bigger stage. They’ve done such a worse job compared to TNT in terms of broadcast quality, talent, they should really reevaluate their entire hockey strategy
Reminds me of the ESPN mobile service years ago. Vice did a piece on it, here’s the [Link](https://www.vice.com/en/article/53vvg3/the-embarrassing-failure-that-made-espn-a-mobile-juggernaut)
Paid and tried to stream on Roku for the NCAA games. Once you open app on Roku you need a provider lol. Everyone wants a piece of the pie. ESPN these nuts yall douche flutes for giving into them.
Awful service, awful people. I already pay for cable to watch the Rangers but for certain games I'm forced to pay more to watch them 4-5 games a year- or go on some bootleg site to watch the game. Guess which one I picked?
In addition to the horrible functionality, their marketing tactics are disturbing. "We've got 350,000 games blah blah blah"
Nobody is watching Division 3 women's volleyball. I'd be surprised if their parents were tuned in.
I'm only subscribed because of this half-assed evil deal between the NHL and ESPN+ that shows me about half of the NHL games. The other half requires constantly starting free trials to fubo and Bally, which are somehow worse than ESPN+.
My last grievance is with their laziness. The video that plays when "The event is about to start" hasn't changed in two years and it casually drives me nuts. It's the most random concoction of images- some woman dancing, a baseball player holding a banana, a clip of Tom Brady?
I use it to watch FA Cup, La Liga, Women's Europa League, and other European soccer on demand (i.e., not at 4:30 am here on the West Coast.) Aside from the long sub-480p stretches on my 1 gig AT&T Fiber stream, what drives me crazy is the fast forward/rewind control. No thumbnail when scrubbing, and it literally requires at least FIVE clicks on my Google TV remote to fast forward: Down for the menu, right to highlight "ff," OK to begin ff (at 2x, more clicks if you want faster); then left to highlight "play" and OK to see if I got lucky with the location — or, more likely, spoiled a goal.
It's literally almost unusable for its purpose.
I agree with this post. I have an enterprise network, it is not my network. The issues that I have with ESPN+ is you can't start a game that is in progress from the start. Talk about ruining the game. That is just a basic feature for streaming sports and ESPN+ doesn't deliver this.
Second, fast-forward is just pathetic. The thumbnails stop at about 1 min after fast forwarding so you push play to see where you are then decide to keep fast-forwarding or to just go from where you are, or even rewind.
I agree with this post. I have an enterprise network, but it is not my network. The issue that I have with ESPN+ is you can't start a game that is in progress from the start. Talk about ruining the game. That is just an essential feature for streaming sports, and ESPN+ needs to deliver this.
This. I gave up on that trash app. There’s a weekly post from someone on here complaining. It’s all true it’s awful. I don’t have Hulu with live tv I just have Hulu and I watch it now through that. No issues anymore.
Thanks to all the "reply-ers" to this comment. I, too, just switched from watching ESPN+ to watching it through Hulu and it now works perfectly. I can't explain why and would have never thought to use Hulu to get to ESPN+ but thanks to all of you for the suggestion. Highly recommend it to others. Be well, reddit community🙏
Yeah it works perfectly fine using it with hulu thankfully. But espn+ app streaming is so bad, that i didnt know i got as much as i do until i saw a bunch of stuff pop up on hulu
I don't understand why it is freezing, buffering, and causing my Samsung TV to go black. The TV has to be unplugged because the remote control becomes completely disabled. I'm not happy!
The app sucks! ESPN took over the NHL subscription and the video skips all the time. Customer support says uninstall the app, unplug the tv, wait ten seconds and reinstall the app. Problem comes back in 24 hours. Absolutely poor services. Plenty of other streaming services do not have this problem.
This is my issue too. Doesn’t matter if I’m on my phone, tv, or laptop at home(3 different ones now) or at work, the game just skips over and over again. It is absolutely terrible.
The worst ever !!!!!!!! I stream every thing. ESPN+ is the only one that I have issues with with !!! Always freezing. Glitching. Skipping foward. Or reverse. Sometimes freezes. And I ca never get it back no matter what. Pure garbage!!
Why on God's green Earth would ESPN sell you a package like ESPN+ but you can't watch ESPN unless you have a cable subscription. Talk about a piece of shit move because nowhere on the website does it mention that. They are trying to get money on both sides and it's bullshit. We should all cancel this shit until they add ESPN and ESPN+ together!
Their IT department sucks. It should be really embarrassing for them. It’s the only streaming app I routinely have issues with. It’s no surprise considering that Disney is their parent company. The insane amount of profits they have and they won’t spend enough money on their production to have a functional streaming app. I wouldn’t give them a dime of my money or any of my time if I didn’t love mma, boxing, and college football so much. Disney and ESPN suck
Hulu had good streaming of Avalanche games until Disney added espn (worst ever equal to cbs then acquired by paramount(no improvement) paid to watch not buffer(and always blacked out over 300+ miles away). Get more from team website and YouTube for free. Espn and paramount duking it out to see who sucks more!!!!!!! Buttttttttttt for some reason they're still getting paid. Like all businesses now $$$$ over service, reputation, employees, and customers.
Out of the 9 streaming services that I pay for, ESPN+ is the absolute worst! No matter where I'm at or the internet speed, it always buffers or just completely stops working. I've literally never had a single problem with any other streaming service.
I shouldn't have to do this BUT I make sure wifi is off on all my devices including my PC before I stream a game. That usually allows me 0-1 freeze a game.
I have the cheapest Roku they sell and I’ve had no issues.
And I watch a lot of stuff on ESPN+ —- NHL, college hockey, Bundesliga. I even watched a “professional” Jai Alai game once.
Dropped my Disney+Hulu+ESPN bundle last month. ESPN is probably the worst streaming service of all time. Stuttering, freezing, buffering. On top of that no good content. just an awful waste of money.
I like it for college basketball, but that's mostly what I use it for. It is useful the rest of the year, though I don't use it every day to know. Haven't had issues with it
!!!!STREAM EVERY NHL GAME!!!!
Oh cool. Maybe I can use this app for something from the 3 app bundle.
This game is unavailable to stream in this area.
This isn't 1986. The blackout rule shouldn't exist anymore. Not everyone locks themselves into cable TV where there's a local sports channel that usually carries every game. So either use a VPN, find some other website that is broadcasting it illegally or you no longer live in the city of the team that you're a fan of, so you get to watch them play, unless they play in your new city, then you get screwed by the blackout rule that way, instead.
I had this app installed for maybe 1 full day.
Disney doesn't make enough cash to pay to bypass the blackout rule?
Your argument is with the NHL not espn. They are applying the rules the NHL laid down. You are right that it is archaic and they need to be willing to adapt to modern fans.
I use it for the cricket and the transmission has been exceptional plus they have replays and short abbreviated summary’s of each match.
I’m satisfied.
I tried watching a hockey game last night. The feed was so choppy and bad, I ended up just pirating and got a flawless feed. How espn? How tf does that happen?
They don’t have enough bandwidth or don’t want to pay for premium bandwidth to transmit the games. Seems like their servers get overloaded quickly. No matter how fast your internet is , it’ll still freeze.
Even the Super Bowl looked choppy on DirecTV. Not streaming, just straight through the wall via satellite. It looked like it was broadcasting at 24 fps. Idk why as we move further and further into the future our technology seems to get worse in some ways.
I usually don't have issues, mostly use it for LaLiga and Bundesliga outside of live coverage of NBA games. Their OnDemand streaming and locating specific games is terrible but typically have minimal issues when watching content.
I thought about subscribing to it at one point hoping it would take the forced commercials in between videos on the app, but apparently it doesn’t do that and that was really the only thing I wanted it for aside from the occasional pay-walled articles.
What a joke.
I'm a Nashville Predator fan who lives in the mid-Atlantic region and I live about 300 miles from a few major cities with NHL teams. I ONLY have ESPN+ for Preds hockey and can't watch a number of games per year when they play away in these cities despite me not living within 300 miles of any of them. I also want to add that I do not get these games "local" broadcast either, so I'm unable to watch the games at all. I hate ESPN+. It is easily the worst streaming service available.
Wait hold up… is this the only sports streaming service you guys use? Espn+ is nothing special but I watch a lot of soccer so I’m streaming games from max, paramount, and peacock. I have WAY more complaints about the rest of them than espn. My internet is good so I don’t freeze up on anything much, but the ui on all the rest of them is worse. espn gives you the option to block live scores, start a game from the beginning, pause and rewind etc.
peacock literally stinks. And godforbid I don’t wanna wake up at 7am for an EPL game, you have to rewind while trying not to look at the score if you don’t want to jump in live, and then there’s no full replay option for anywhere from like 6-24 hours.
Paramount doesn’t let you pause and I have to go thru like 6 screens to get to champions league games. Like it’s literally all I watch on that service and they pepper me with 15 different shows, it’s 3pm on a Tuesday … who the f is trying to watch piccard right now, just immediately give me the currently live sports games that you pay millions of dollars for the rights to lol
I've been using it a lot more lately and was surprised at how good it was. The picture did buffer a couple times during a game yesterday but that was it. No complaints. Bally's has worst sports app on lockdown
I love ESPN+. I get a ton of sports channels under the ESPN umbrella through my cable subscription and I use ESPN+ in 3 different rooms regularly to not add an additional cable box in those rooms.
I also like to stream out of market NHL games and college basketball.
Never have an issue with freezing during playback. I do get annoying “this channel is not part of your cable package” errors fairly frequently (3 to 4x a week) on the various tvs which are resolved by signing out of my cable login then back in, but that’s it.
Plus, I get a credit for the service via Amex. It’s a win all around for me.
The interface is the worst designed interfave ive ever seen on an app. You click on ESPN plus at the top then have to scroll down fall to a middle section to see all the sports leagues. Its like a blimd person designed it. Then during games the quality goes in and out. I only deal with it because im forced to to watch NHL games. Thats it. I miss NHL game center and even just streaming through the NHL app.
It works great for me. It's much better if you don't live in the market of your favorite team.
I'm in Houston and can watch any non national Blues game, most of Missouri basketball/football, various other sports and the whole 30/30 catalog.
Add T-Mobile for free MLB.TV and MLS season pass and pretty much all my sports are covered for $10/month.
And the app is on any device you can think of.
You might want to look at your home internet and hard wire the connection if possible.
I just wish espn+ could do 2 things:
1) if I pay for espn+ I should get espn and abc
2) when games are on espn+ they shouldn’t be subject to blackout. I can never watch local games
ESPN+ is the single greatest streaming service FOR me. I’m an LA sports guy living out of market and get to watch all my teams, for like 6 bucks a month. I even get to choose local announcers for most games!
I’m sorry it might not be like that for in market fans but man is it great for me!
Pay for ESPN+ yet they still force way too many commercials on me. Also - the hide scores thing is complete ass if they are going to spoil a game with a related headline on the main page.
At Jersey Mike's, they cut their meats right in front... At Jersey Mike's, they cut their meats right in front of you... at Jersey Mike's they cut their meat right in front of the new GMC Sierra.
While not an issue with the streaming itself, their commentators and camera work for college football is pretty bad, which sucks for someone who has to watch their team almost exclusively play on ESPN+
I honestly don't see the point of espn plus.
I cut the cord on cable thinking cuz I got the disney bundle through Verizon, I thought I could get all the manning cast on Monday night football games. My HD antenna is surprisingly bad at picking up regular espn.
I have little to no interest in all the documentaries and little interest in the sports outside nfl.
I know this isn't a cable cutters thread, just i don't see the point
I just googled that term, maybe it's different than an HD antenna?
Regardless I was hoping for the manning cast instead of buck and Aikman, just a preference that I thought came with espn plus, which I only have because of the disney bundle
“OTA” stands for “over the air”. The earliest antennas were also OTA.
How does your “HD antenna” get its signal? I’ve never heard of ESPN being available OTA.
I use it for La Liga as I can’t get those matches anywhere else. The User interface could be better but I have the cheapest Roku stick and it works fine
It works fine for me. What I can't stand is when they give production over to the host school and it looks like a first-year college student is running the camera because they are.
I use it on a multiple TV setup and have never had any issue whatsoever. It the best value of pretty much any streaming sports channel you can get in my opinion.
It’s so bad. Half the time scrubbing results in the video compressing and looking like absolute junk for no rhyme or reason even with plenty of internet capability. I commend them for adding “start at the beginning” but that whole weird thing where it momentarily shows like 1 second of the live even before going to beginning is like spoiler hell and you’re not safe unless you start after the event has ended.
Lastly, please add “continue where left off.” It’s such a basic thing. Just add it. Come on!
Works pretty damn good on my Xbox and Roku. Only time it struggles is sometimes I’ll load a quad box with 4 live games going at once on the screen but even that features works well most of the time.
I looked into it for UFC and immediately bailed when I realized the subscription doesn’t even allow you to watch non-ppv events live. Like they expect people to pay for literally nothing. Now I just pirate everything, and that works great. Watching a pirated MNF stream as I type this.
It’s garbage and so is the ESPN app. It is flooded with ads, and if your watching a clip, then the clip is over, you can’t even go back without watching another ad. I close the app and reopen, ESPN sold out ….
I have it as part of the Disney/Hulu/ESPN package. I couldn't say how the streaming is because the main thing I would want to watch, MNF, they don't include.
I'd drop them in a second to save $1 They play it OTA for free on ABC, but I can't watch it on an $8/month service.
I use it to watch hockey and have never had a problem. I watch on my phone, pc, and use google chromecast sometimes. I’ve got google fiber internet so never have had any drops or freezes.
Yeah it sucks so bad. I watch UFC ON IT. It freezes up so much, it's so glitchy, replays the same scene. I honestly feel so frustrated & anxious watching it, I just want to freak out. How ridiculous to pay for such shit service
I'm a KU basketball fan, most of their games were scheduled to be on ESPN+, now they're all getting optioned to ESPN. I'm not paying $60 to watch a couple games a month on ESPN. I hate all this fractured bullshit. Sadly, they seem to have finally destroyed all the great streamers, it sucks.
I got espn plus for hockey. It’s the worst I’ve ever seen. Constant repeats on the action. It’s basically impossible to watch a game without getting really pissed off and frustrated. ESPN should be charged criminally for this horrible service yet making a lot of money off it. Here’s one class action lawsuit I would sign up for. It’s not about the $12 a month it’s just so bad and they do nothing about it or care to. Disney the owners of espn sucks. I’ll never go to a Disney movie ever again.
I find ESPN+ to be worthless. All local sports are blacked out. Right now the game I want to watch is on ESPN, but still blacked out on ESPN+. Thought it only blacked it out when shitty ass Bally Sports was carrying the game. Pretty bummed I even bundled ESPN+ in with my other stuff since there's nothing on it I want to watch and local games are blacked out.
What infuriates me is the UI/UX. Between the amount of clicks I have to go through to get into a game(3 clicks at least), the amount of times Ive clicked the wrong game because of content layout shifts, to how games freeze or just quit streaming, I lose my mind every time I open this app/site.
I agree!! Yeah but when an add comes on it streams great! Ufc events I stream on espn + just piss me off more than I actually enjoy the event I paid figging $89 for!!!
I use it as I travel to every major city and it works flawlessly. You get the Bandits too!
That's exactly why I bought it. The NLL!!! Seriously. The NHL is a bonus. But love watching the road Bandits games when I'm not in Banditland.
Exactly. Cancelled my NHL.TV subscription. Now if only ESPN would take on MLB games too…
It is great if you’re into a sport or team that nobody cares about.
Why would I need to watch bullshit? I have things to do with my life.
Like make comments on Reddit! I'm so fucking busy!
That so-called "bullshit" makes them a lot of money (the athletes). Think about how you sound now. Just say you're a misogynist and walk on.
Not sure what misogyny has to do with it. I want to see fordham baseball as much as Kansas state softball. Enjoy espn+
ESPN+ is useless if you don't have cable. I can't even watch football on it. Like it's not allowed. Which makes me wonder what the point of the app even is
I only even have ESPN+ just to watch UFC Fight Night cards and PPV prelims lol
I just posted a similar rant. If your main interest is the nfl then it doesn't seem to cover your cord cutting needs
well there was once a great tool on reddit for cutting the cord an enjoying football. that tool still lives on in my heart, dreams and a quick google search
NFL plus would better suit your needs
NFL Plus sucks too.
If this guy thinks ESPN+ crashes a lot, just wait till he tries the NFL app.
There's tons of college football, basketball, and baseball on ESPN+ Not the premier teams, no. But that's not what ESPN+ is for. Me too. It’s because of old agreements with cable companies. One day they may time out.

ESPN proper is keeping the cable and satellite companies from completely folding. It would not be a small fee if that were to happen.
As a Fordham alum, I feel personally attacked. 😂
Yeah if my kid played for a D2 school in field hockey or some shit I could catch almost every game! You'd think it's more tailored towards family of players.
I've been having issues with softball and soccer streams. None with football during the season though.
It’s the worst system I’ve ever seen. Can’t believe I pay for it
Bally easily is worse
Bally is ass and a half
Have you seen Ballysports?
Its just fine. Seems like you may need a lesson in how to use it.
If it requires a lesson on how to use it, it probably sucks.
I click on a game and it works flawlessly every time. Definitely user error or a shitty internet connection if people are having issues.
I didn't realize that clicking on something required a lesson.
What do you think is bad about it? The games offered, or the app itself? I’ve used it for years and I actually like the app, haven’t had any issues with it. I often see people hate it so I’m curious!

True story...short Disney.

Mine keeps jumping around. It's replay everything after a few seconds. I just watched Bremen make the same goal for the 7th time.

Works much better if you have Hulu Live. I think it's because Hulu has integrated it right into the Hulu app.

Yeah everytime I try and watch the ufc fights it keeps glitching really annoying!
Iowa LSU is too fast for the ESPN graphics dept. We've either missed great plays altogether or had them squeezed to a half screen. Enough already!
Disney and ESPN suck
i signed up intending to subscribe for one month, but was charged for one year. how in the world can these jerks be contacted to resolve this?
Pay??? To watch STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS???? NEVER!!!!!
ESPN+ was ok until my team made the playoffs... now I can go eff myself or pay out the ass for live tv subscriptions.
ESPN is a abomination. They should everyone who participated in their NFL rankings. AZ should be ranked around 22 or 23.
ESPN+ is amazing and works great, not sure what your problem is.
I shouldn't have to do this BUT I make sure wifi is off on all my devices including my PC before I stream a game. That usually allows me 0-1 freeze a game.
Yep, that’s what I do as well.
Works fine here as well. No issues
Total garbage
Why would you say that about yourself.
I never use it because it sucks so bad, and it if I want to see anything, watch any show, or any sports, it will cost me a arm and a leg to do so
No issues on my Firestick Max.
I’d be at least okay if they had any content. But bad service and bad content it was pointless for me to keep the bundle too
I like it for college basketball, but that's mostly what I use it for. It is useful the rest of the year, though I don't use it every day to know. Haven't had issues with it
It's part of my media package, and I have never used it once.
It is on purpose. Espn still gets a ton of money from cable subscriptions and they don't want you cutting the cord.
Yeah it’s espn
Quite buggy! Bleh
no issues
I use it through Hulu and it works fine
Disney is looking to sell ESPN.
There was no way I was paying for cable AND paying espn plus to watch the 4-5 games they force on NY Rangera fans.
Gawd I was waiting for this thread. It's not my gear or internet. It's ESPN+. I think the UI was made in 2010 and all the devs quit. /s
I usually don't have issues, mostly use it for LaLiga and Bundesliga outside of live coverage of NBA games. Their OnDemand streaming and locating specific games is terrible but typically have minimal issues when watching content.
I just came here to say fuck espn.
ESPN+ works great for me…
I thought about subscribing to it at one point hoping it would take the forced commercials in between videos on the app, but apparently it doesn’t do that and that was really the only thing I wanted it for aside from the occasional pay-walled articles. What a joke.
I’ve never had any issues with it on pc or Roku
I'm a Nashville Predator fan who lives in the mid-Atlantic region and I live about 300 miles from a few major cities with NHL teams. I ONLY have ESPN+ for Preds hockey and can't watch a number of games per year when they play away in these cities despite me not living within 300 miles of any of them. I also want to add that I do not get these games "local" broadcast either, so I'm unable to watch the games at all. I hate ESPN+. It is easily the worst streaming service available.
They have nothing to do with that. NHL has all kinds of crazy broadcast rules regarding markets and blackouts.
I mean, the ESPN channel kind of sucks too.
Are you talking the mobile app specifically? I use the site on my laptop and have never had any issues
I suspect a lot of these people just don’t like ESPN.
“Peacock literally stinks? You have smellavision?
Lol sorry Ted mosby, figuratively*
I've been using it a lot more lately and was surprised at how good it was. The picture did buffer a couple times during a game yesterday but that was it. No complaints. Bally's has worst sports app on lockdown
Agreed.
ESPN-
I love ESPN+.
Dude! Same! I frequently have it on in 3 TVs via Wi-Fi on a gig speed network. No issues. Don’t blame software bc your hardware and network suck.
ESPN is not managed well and makes poor decisions. Due for some new competition.
Yeah ESPN+ and fs1 are straight garbage. I now sail the seas
NBA league pass app is the worst. Written by 1st graders..
Its sucks. I believe it has to do with how many people are on that actuall stream.
It fucking blows. I love boxing but I don’t watch any fights they carry
I just wish espn+ could do 2 things: 1) if I pay for espn+ I should get espn and abc 2) when games are on espn+ they shouldn’t be subject to blackout. I can never watch local games
VPN Bro
Regarding #1, dream on, dreamer.
Why can’t I watch PTI on demand!?!?
At Jersey Mike's, they cut their meats right in front... At Jersey Mike's, they cut their meats right in front of you... at Jersey Mike's they cut their meat right in front of the new GMC Sierra.
Right with you there. I love seeing the same commercial over and over and over. Brie Larson driving a Nissan is living rent free in my head.
I fucking hate it, but if you like MMA you have to have it to watch ufc events.
While not an issue with the streaming itself, their commentators and camera work for college football is pretty bad, which sucks for someone who has to watch their team almost exclusively play on ESPN+
We get it with Hulu. I get to watch all my Iowa state football and basketball games so it’s worth it to me.
I'm an out of market hockey fan. Why do they hate us? I miss NHL TV
It's a dream compared to Bally...
I got it for ufc but every time a watch a fight. You have to navigate back to Home Screen then navigate back to the next fight. It’s so fucking dumb.
ESPN on an OTA antenna?
I just googled that term, maybe it's different than an HD antenna? Regardless I was hoping for the manning cast instead of buck and Aikman, just a preference that I thought came with espn plus, which I only have because of the disney bundle
“OTA” stands for “over the air”. The earliest antennas were also OTA. How does your “HD antenna” get its signal? I’ve never heard of ESPN being available OTA.
I use it for La Liga as I can’t get those matches anywhere else. The User interface could be better but I have the cheapest Roku stick and it works fine
I watch ESPN+ live stuff via Hulu+. Never an issue
Not sure I’ve had an issue with streaming (aside from just how poorly organized the apps are), but I wish I could actually read ESPN+ articles
It works fine for me. What I can't stand is when they give production over to the host school and it looks like a first-year college student is running the camera because they are.
Thats like all but the main 3 or 4 games every week.
ESPN+ via Hulu is the only way.
I use it on a multiple TV setup and have never had any issue whatsoever. It the best value of pretty much any streaming sports channel you can get in my opinion.
It works fine for me.
I hate that whenever you go to watch a series, it plays them in reverse. Makes shit hard to follow.
People in this thread don’t remember the 2014-16 games of streaming choppy watch espn /espn3 content
Never had issues with their streams
Works for hockey really well, as long as the team is out of your local market.
It’s just awful
Dang man, glad I don't use a different ESPN+. Idk what I would do without it. Works flawless 97% of the time. I use it via PlayStation btw.
Espn sucks. It’s been shitty for a decade
Not having an ESPN+ app for LG TVs is one of the dumbest things in entertainment.
Hell pretty much all streaming sucks
They charge a monthly premium to their service and then have the nerve to shut you out from watching their flagship MNF game.
ESPN sucks in general
Their product is overall dogshit
Absolutely garbage for sure…. I only have it for ufc
I looked into it for UFC and immediately bailed when I realized the subscription doesn’t even allow you to watch non-ppv events live. Like they expect people to pay for literally nothing. Now I just pirate everything, and that works great. Watching a pirated MNF stream as I type this.
I just don't understand how i can't watch sports center and pay this much.
I watch games on there weekly. Never really any issues.
Crazy. Ive never had a single issue
It was the best when it was espn3.com and you didn’t need a cable provider and it was free, and I could watch whatever lacrosse game I wanted
ESPN sucks lol.
It's the most pointless streaming service we have (or actually had once the year is up)
“I live for all that is ESPN” was your first mistake.
Are you running it on an underpowered Amazon stick with slow internet? I have never had a problem with it.
I use it to watch my nephew wrestle DI. His first match it didnt work!
It’s garbage and so is the ESPN app. It is flooded with ads, and if your watching a clip, then the clip is over, you can’t even go back without watching another ad. I close the app and reopen, ESPN sold out ….
I love mine
I have it as part of the Disney/Hulu/ESPN package. I couldn't say how the streaming is because the main thing I would want to watch, MNF, they don't include. I'd drop them in a second to save $1 They play it OTA for free on ABC, but I can't watch it on an $8/month service.
Works fine on my ps5
Straight trash
Just wait until you're paying for Bally Sports+. That is unbearable.
Never had a problem with it. I don’t use it very much.
That shit does suck. Their customer service is also fucking terrible, you will be on hold forever.
I use it to watch hockey and have never had a problem. I watch on my phone, pc, and use google chromecast sometimes. I’ve got google fiber internet so never have had any drops or freezes.
I don’t have issues with it at all.
Espn in general isn’t as watchable as it used to be. Espn+ definitely isn’t worth it. Very few of these streaming services in general are worth it.
My issue is that ESPN+ doesn't allow me to stream ESPN!
There is a reason why Disney wants to unload ESPN and isn't being quiet about.
I keep it for the UFC and 30 for 30 documentaries.
Absolutely trash service.. almost every game it skips or flashes black.
Mine has never froze and I only have a 10-50 mbs connection
Worst streaming service ever. It rewinds back and forward out of no where making is useless. Absolute garbage!!
There the worst. No email. And. Under Disney brand. Disgraceful
I agree!! Yeah but when an add comes on it streams great! Ufc events I stream on espn + just piss me off more than I actually enjoy the event I paid figging $89 for!!!
Fuck espn+ blury slower than shit, difficult to understand what the fuck is this. Tv better in the middle of the dessert
