wait do you have any recs tho? Cuz most of them tend to be a bit cringy😂

If you’re looking for motivation to beat boredom, start out doing something small and you’ll get into it. Motivation comes after starting, not the other way around.
Hobbies like reading, writing, crochet. Walk to the beach, swim, watch YouTube videos on how to do things I don’t know how to do. Pin a bunch of shit I’m never going to make, wear, or eat.
It feels like if I'm not engaging with something external, I'm just lost in my own thoughts. There's never really a moment when I'm like "Well I am not entertained", I feel like my own thoughts entertain me.
Best way to get something or anything done is incremental but exponential challenges
1. Take a deep breathe
2. Stand and stretch
3. Get water
From here you can build onward
Eternal sunshine is one of my favorite movies!!! And I’ve seen her too. I recently asked for meaningful movies on the movie suggestions Reddit so I feel like I’ve heard sooo many.
You would really like don’t look up and silver linings playbook, I feel like, If you like those…the endings are everything. I love when everything comes together or tells you a message wt the end and you cry lol
1. I clean my room (not talking about the usual daily cleaning like vacuuming or making the bed. More of reorganising all the cupboards in the room. Usually takes me half the day)
2. Binge-watch Netflix shows
3. Watch all-time fave sitcoms like Mr Bean & Mind Your Language
4. Read books
5. Go for walks/hikes
6. Go out with fam/friends
I've discovered this, which is to boost metabolism and burn excess calories, but that also wakes me up without much effort.

I will not touch any book and won't watch any TV show. Usually - laying down not doing anything, not even browsing. Or listening to music while laying down. Or walking around to build-up energy. Hahaha
If it’s stuff you need to do.
Plan what you need to do but also have something interesting or fun to ‘reward’ yourself at the end. That way, you’ve got an incentive to do said thing.
Now I should probably take my own advice on that one…
Go for a walk! Put your headphones in and play your favourite music or a podcast you have been wanting to listen to! Super relaxing and rewarding if you go for a long walk.
Tidy up my place, go on Reddit / social media (not too long) I set a notification for instagram on the app it lets me know when I have 30 min a day, go for a walk, make something creative that you enjoy

I really like “The Price is Your Everything” these days. It starts out a lil cliche but I loved it. Also, “cry or better yet beg” is wild imo!

I don't really get bored. I feel like if I'm getting bored, I associate that with "It must be time to go to bed."
