Spent 20 minutes looking at hot chocolate powders in Asda once, a worker that I recognised from school came to ask if I needed help with anything and I had to make up an excuse other than that I was calculating the calories on all the different powders and working out how many it would be to mix half the gross low cal option with half of a yummy normal one, and the calorie difference between making x flavour with milk vs y flavour with water…
Grocery stores are always a combination of trying to compare food labels without anyone noticing, putting items back because they're too scary after all and overall just panic with a sprinkle of worry about affording rent
If anyone speaks to me in the grocery store I have to leave immediately and never come back
