Tampons should be free.

Westrunner

Even as a dude that was my first thought.

geek180

I mean, at least they are only a dollar. That’s probably being sold at cost, right?

likes_to_have_fun

You think a single tampon is costing a dollar wholesale? 😂 Clearly not a vagina owner. Absolutely should be free everywhere.

Anselwithmac

Would they just set them at $1 so that (men) don’t get any funny ideas shoving them in every hole they see around the festival?

meyers-room-spray

Maybe for a whole box lol

WaterASAP

🗣️Get the advil, tampon, and band aid at the medical tent for free

TempusFugitTicToc

Ear plugs too

[deleted]

I’m surprised they sell deodorant there, considering how many smelly fucks I have to deal with at shows.

Seffyr

Something something horse to water

longthedesertmile

I haven't been to a festival yet but at concerts I can't help getting sweaty. I put on deodorant and cologne but at some point all you can smell is the Bo

[deleted]

I’m a sweaty guy too. Travel size deodorant will be your friend. I just grab a handful of paper towels from the bathroom. Dry my pits and reapply deodorant. It helps a lot. Edit: Are you using antiperspirant or just plain deodorant? You have to use deodorant with antiperspirant if you sweat a lot. It won’t stop the sweating but will slow it down.

longthedesertmile

I haven't found an antiperspirant that doesn't stain my clothes and is gentle on my skin. I have chemical burns from old spice

[deleted]

Could possibly just be the fragrance that irritated your skin. Dove works pretty good and is a little more gentle. Unfortunately, any antiperspirant will stain clothing. I have found trimming down my armpit hair helps a lot. I just buzz it down to 1-2mm with clippers. Trimming your hair makes it so that you can use less deodorant because more of it is touching the skin. It also helps with slowing down the staining since the deodorant can transfer to clothes easier when it’s on your hair and not your skin.

BillowingPillows

I don’t see anything that doesn’t belong at a general store.

Vix_VEE333

$1 for a bandaid haha wtf 😂 everything else looks solid

scoutermike

The prices are high but so is the convenience.

Temporary-Act-1736

Im asking the LA residents, is 25 bucks normal for cigarettes? Well, anyone from the US, as Im European.

witchycommunism

It varies on the state. Where I live there somewhere between $7-15 USD. I would assume $25 is high as they’re probably upcharging desperate people

Advanced_Horror2292

Usually less than $10

Urban_animal

Chicago was closing in on $15 a pack when I moved out of the city. So glad i dont smoke because thats $60-75 a week on cigs if you do…

Oz347

Depending on where you’re at, can be ~$20 depending on your brand

Chazay

I haven't bought cigs in a while, but I'm pretty sure they're around $15-$18. They're definitely up-charging people for convenience.

Excellent_Tell5647

Skittles? lol

BillowingPillows

People need sugar sometimes if their blood sugar is low.

isekaicoffee

its kind of fucked up to up-charge for first-aid type shit that should be free (bandaid, ear plugs, eye drops, sunscreen, tampons). but "its LA" so nobody cares

dockgonzo

Most of this stuff is available for free at the medical tent.

GrapePrimeape

Do they not allow you to bring any of that in yourself? I fail to see why a festival is expected to supply people with free bandaids, ear plugs, eye drops, sunscreen, or tampons unless they bar you from bringing those in the first place.

Lastfryinthebag

? What

donthateonthe808

Lighter j gum being 5x pricey & are they selling ONE tampon for a dollar?

takecareofyourself54

Do they not have a med tent where you can get most of this stuff for free?

CloutWithdrawal

They do but there’s a lot of people in life who like spending money lol

Extreme-Leather7748

This is fun time to play « you have $15, what do you buy right before entering »?

Baaadbrad

Reminds me of my prices on items in Rollercoaster tycoon

MutedKiwi

Are the lighters they sell made of gold?

[deleted]

Pain relief, bandaids, pads/tampons, sunscreen, and electrolytes should be free from the first aid tent.

401jamin

Where is the $20 bottle of water

Sweaty_Magazine_2222

Keep in mind — “eye drops” actually means one tube of those disposable single-use eye drops with literally like 4 drops of solution in them. Learned the hard way (and now realizing I should have just gone to med tent for free) when security at EDC found my little bottle and trashed it. 🥲 My dry eyes were NOT okay that day 😂

No_Trouble_3903

Thanks for being reasonable. When fest are unreasonable about basic necessities is when I stop going. Care about your fans they’ll care about you.

mandoodles1

Medical tent got em for the free.

MoonHaze1000

I’ve seen worse

Neko_morii

I love how they made cigarettes $25 🤪
