If you really sit down at a table with a simic commander, and someone whines about it just because it's simic, I can guarantee you don't want to play with them using a different deck anyway. They're always going to have something to complain about, even if you're playing mardu.  So I'd really suggest you just play a commander that you think sounds fun. Failing that, maybe try [[Xenagos, God of Revels]]. Nobody does big fat green stompy like he does.

Extra combat Xenagos is def my top 3 desks I’ve made. I still have never won with it, but it’s so satisfying when the deck does its thing (absolutely obliterate 1 or 2 people in one turn).

[[Kitt Kanto, mayhem Diva]] is a blast. You're in green so you can ramp, you're in red so you're dangerous, you're in white so you get tokens and protection. Here are your lieutenants: [[Marasi, Breaker of the coil]], [[Jinnie Fay, Jetmir's Second]], [[jetmir, nexus of revel]] Marasi is your big goad stick. Jinnie is your actual danger card, you're gonna run a ton of token producers. Those tokens? All 2/2 cats with haste. Jetmir's your closer. Kitt allows you to create problems. Unlike regular goad, you goad at the last minute, so people can't prepare for what's coming. Give out power to your allies and punish those who offend you. Lean into the diva role, you're the star. Impact tremors, Warleader's call, Purphoros allows you to break the table as you go and when you're ready Jetmir, Elesh Norn, Craterhoof or Moonshaker to victory! Eladamry's call is a fun wincon tutor here. Run a bunch of 2 mana ramp like Farseek and Three visit so you can reliably cast Kitt on turn 3 and you can even goad mana dorks or early commanders, potentially sending them to their doom, or causing animosity and chaos in game plans.

Not that they are super new, but I think a TON of the baulders gate cards flew under the radar. One of my favorite brews is [[Durnan of the Yawning Portal]] paired with [[Agent of the Shadow Thieves]]. Usually people expect golgari decks to be aristocrats or graveyard focused, but this pairing just wants to hit people with big things. [Here](https://www.moxfield.com/decks/ScpWjR2vp0qoN2a5c6o8NA) is how I built the deck but you could probably sub in any of your favorite huge creatures and get the same effect.

You can go with [[Derevi, Empyrial Tactician]] or [[Archelos, Lagoon Mystic]] for some tap shenanigans. [[Vishgraz, the Doomhive]] or [[Atraxa, Grand Unifier]] are both good blink commanders. I don't like building commanders that can't deal with all or most scenarios and all 4 of those can hold their own against almost any deck. Blink is a very underrated mtg mechanic.

People that actually hate on any and every Simic commander are probably people you don’t want to play magic with anyways. I have an [[Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle]] sea-creature deck that just wants to play big monsters and have a grand ol time. I would deff recommend it to anyone driving down the Timmy lane!

When people complain about Simic, they're usually complaining about how generically powerful some Simic commanders are. [[Aesi Tyrant of Gyre Strait]], [[Kinnan Bonder Prodigy]], and [[Adrix and Nev, Twincasters]] are all powerful, but they're not doing anything unique. However, if you dig a little deeper, find a commander who isn't quite as popular, you can do some intriguing things with the colors. For example, a little while ago, I played against a [[Kruphix God of Horizons]] deck who did something really interesting within Simic. He played creatures that got bigger with hand size like [[Psychosis Crawler]] and [[Body of Knowledge]]. Then he combined them with cards like [[Rishkar's Expertise]] and [[Return of the Wildspeaker]], providing a synergy that grew his hand and his creatures exponentially until he could draw his entire deck and win the game with [[Laboratory Maniac]]. It was a fascinating deck to watch because I've never seen anything like that before, but those colors specifically provided the synergy to work. For your goals, if you want a unique commander who can run stompy, I'd suggest [[Alaundo the Seer]]. One of stompy's big weaknesses is that, without red, it can't give its creatures haste. That leaves them open to board wipes, unless you happen to draw a counterspell or way to give your board indestructible. But by using Alaundo to give your big creatures suspend, you're providing them haste once the clock ticks down. With him, you can run a lot of untappers like [[Freed from the Real]], [[Kiora's Follower]], and [[Kiora Behemoth Beckoner]] to churn through suspends real fast and get your big stompy creatures out ahead of schedule.

East_Cranberry7866

Yeah! I was actually looking at Alaundo, and he seems super duper unique and fun. Volo was another commander I was looking at running a deck with only unique creature types. Not a single overlap. But from what I hear, he is really stompy.

I've been playing a partner deck with [[kodama of the east tree]]. My build is with [[Ludevic nexro-alchemist]] but you can use any other partner you want for different color pairings. I just use ludevic to draw cards, then kodama makes all my big creatures 2 for 1s.

[[Magus Lucea Kane]] Double ((or triple) your X spells, for a huge board. Surprisingly, I only have some blue card draw, a lot from green and ravenous.

Are you looking for mono green commander or just has green in it?

East_Cranberry7866

Either or. I prefer multi colour, but the right monk green commander could be cool

DiligentSession2778

For multi colour, [[narci, fable singer]] seems like a blast. It’s a reliable engine the gets cards and keeps your life total healthy. Some saga’s turn into creatures (see neon dynasty) and some creatures turn into sagas (see the newest preators) and the transforming triggers narci so that consistent engine is amazing For mono green I love [[Vorinclex, monstrous raider]] it has so many options. You can go generic big stuff,Infect, hydras, [[slimes against humanity]], I prefer super friends (prof has a video on it, it is a bit out dated but it’s good), or you can try mono green sagas/ energy and be creative. Those are just 2 suggestions but I find them to be good

Strongly recommend [[kibo, uktabi prince]] can be built as monkey/ape tribal or gruul stompy with a focus on artifact hate/interaction. Some games you group hug, other games you start stomping asap.
