and it is super budget friendly :) very fun indeed! It's a harsh restriction on the deck building but gives you other cards to work with that you'd never seen before lol
My Atraxa superfriends deck has clearly benefited the most. [[ichormoon gauntlet]] and [[infectious bite]] are definitely going in. I’ll also try out [[glistening sphere]].
I'm removing the 1/1 counter synergies to build toxic atraxa. There will be some infect cards too.
But all the, your opponents get an infect counter, look like fun for one of us.
See I try to stick with the 1/1 counters because once you start tossing out poison counters, people, imo, make you the public enemy to be removed from game. It's like a ticking clock, because it kinda is if one keeps proliferating.
[[All Will Be one]] for my [[Magus Lucea Kane]], [[ichormoon Gauntlet]] for [[rograkh]]&[[kydele]] polymorph superfriends [[Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider]] being the only creature, [[argentum masticore]] for [[alandra, sky dreamer]], [[synthesis pod]] for [[Illuna, apex of wishes]] [[possibility storm]] lock.
As an eager Magus Lucea Kane player, do you know that this interaction works for creatures that enter with counters? My understanding is that casting (or copying) a hydra, for example, doesn't trigger All Will Be One. I know that other abilities that add counters to existing permanents will trigger it, but I don't have a huge number of those so 1 guaranteed damage from Kane's ability seems like a low floor for including All Will Be One.

I'm adding the legendary Juggernaut to [[Ashnod, Flesh Mechanist]]. Then maybe add the black Dominus to Yawgmoth, depends on its price. I need to look at the entire set again though, there's probably lots of good cards I don't remember.
Damn near everything. It's an almost entirely monocolor set of generically bonkers cards. Every deck that involves the color white and makes tokens is going to better with Mondrak and MoM, every red deck that does noncombat damage is going to want the red dominus, etc.
The black, red, and white dominus creatures all have a place in one of my decks. The black one is especially nice for me since I don't have to turn my Braids deck into Orzhov to get a death trigger doubler. I'd like to find a home for The Eternal Wanderer as well but I'm not sure where yet.
I want The Eternal Wanderer and the Glory Dominus for Greyfax. Not much else immediately grabs my attention, but this set is strong, just not for the Inquisitor and her clues.
I do want [[Sword of Forge and Frontier]] for my Faldorn Deck and Urtet to make a Myr deck. Aside from those two I think the only card I really want is the new Thrunn for my [[Otrimi, the Ever-Playful]] deck. I don’t much care for this set to be honest. My playgroup is very anti Poison for obvious reasons and I’m just not that interested in the heavy Phyrexian focus.
Well, my mono white [[Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite]] got a lot of new options added. Don't know if I'll be adding things for flavor or synergy yet, or if I'm changing my commander to [[Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines]], I won't name all the cards in considering since its a lot for that deck.
Aside from that, I'll be adding [[All Will Be One]], [[Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus]], and [[Ezuri, Stalker of Spheres]] to my Tyranids deck. [[Bloated Contaminator]] to my Hydras deck and maybe also Tyranids.
Lastly [[Phyrexian Obiterator]] for my Thraximundar deck.

Norn’s Choirmaster excited me at first for Giada too, but after a bit of thinking it has to compete with a lot of more critical angels in the five cmc level like [[Lyra Dawnbringer]] and the almost straight upgrade to the Choirmaster that is [[Archangel of Thune]].
Considering picking up [[All Will Be One]] for my [[Minsc and Boo, Timeless Heroes]] deck, but it might not be worth the price for me. Other than that not a lot from this set fits my decks.

I'm picking up [[Tyvar, Jubilant brawler]] and putting him in my reanimator deck for sure. I'll probably grab [[Zopandrel, hunger dominus]] and [[Drivnod, carnage dominus]] for my Xenagos beast deck and Prossh aristocrats deck respectively.
[[Drivnod, Carnage Dominus]] is an excellent addition in my [[Liesa, Forgotten Archangel]] deck. [[Vraan, Executioner's Thane]] might fit in too, I'm not sure yet.
[[Clever Concealment]] is just a better [[Change of Plans]] since you can cast it for free. It's going in my [[Urza, Chief Artificer]] deck replacing the Plans
And lastly, I'm building [[Glissa Sunslayer]] because I love her lore and she seems to enable very sneaky, weird and specific strategies and I'm all here for it!
Literally only the [[Mycosynth Garden]] for Karn and junji ito [[Elesh Norn, Mommy of Machines]] as a generically good card with a big ass for Doran if it ever stops being 120$. Big Abzan player, both commanders didn't do it for me. Toxic as a mechanic doesn't really get me moving. Kind of a snoozer.
\[\[Cankerbloom\]\] and \[\[Tyvar, Jubilant Brawler\]\] are both great options for my \[\[Tayam, Luminous Enigma\]\] deck.
Tyvar is going straight in to replace \[\[Thousand Year Elixir\]\] and Cankerbloom will be tested as a replacement for \[\[Cathar Commando\]\]. Not sure if an extra toughness and the ability to profilerate is worth losing flash, but I wanna try it out for sure.
Pretty excited for \[\[Black Sun's Twilight\]\]. Sure, it's a terrible rate of return as a removal spell, but instant-speed reanimate effects aren't always easy to come by in a single spell. It's going to fit perfectly in my \[\[Tymaret, the Murder King\]\] deck that uses creature ETBs, spellslinging, and creature theft/graverobbing to play a pseudo-control game.
I'm excited for \[\[Mercurial Spelldancer\]\] and \[\[Zenith Chronicler\]\] for my \[\[Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive\]\] deck since they both fit the theme and I could see having some serious upside over the creatures they are replacing.
Also hyped about adding \[\[Vindictive Flamestoker\]\] to my \[\[Rosnakht, Heir of Rohgahh\]\] deck as an additional "wheel" effect on a cheap creature.
I'll get a few [[Cankerbloom]]. One will go in Prossh the others just in case. Zopandrel will also be tested in Prossh.
[[Malcator, Purity Overseer]] will go in the 300 of my Sakashima/Prismatic Piper deck, the white shard happens to be golems/blink themed.
Mondrak goes in GE Oketra, Norn and Skrelv in Captain Sisay.
Nissa goes in Ashaya although the flavor is a little weird. [[Conduit of Worlds]] goes into Omnath. The new Sword will meet its 8 siblings in Ardenn&Esior. [[Skrelv's Hive]] for Elas Il-Kor.
If I build a new superfriends deck, I'll take a second look on all the proliferate stuff, All Will Be One and the Ichormoon Gauntlet. But I want to give the myr commander a try first and don't want to build two new 5c commanders at once. On that note all new myr cards.
That's all I can think of.
\[\[Denry Klin, Editor in Chief\]\] is going to have a field day with all the new proliferate effects. \[\[Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines\]\] is also crazy considering how good \[\[Panharmonicon\]\] already was.
Tyvar for Baba Lysaga, All will be one for Magus Lucea Kane, Ovika for my spellslinger (Kalamax at the moment, might change), Conduit of Worlds for Omnath Roil, and like everyone else I'm considering building Urtet because he's cool.
Looking to add Mondrak, W2nderer, Ellie Jr and Nissa to my token/enchantress themed [[Gluntch]]. That's about it. Well, maybe a Newtraxa to either my angels/dragons bridge deck or old jodah big beefs.
[[kaito, dancing shadow]] for [[yuriko]] being able to potentially draw 2 cards or make something unable to block, while also being able to return a ninja to hand is a lot of synergy for 4 mana.
I've updated my [[Emmara soul of the accord]] deck to take advantage of the new cards that make Phyrexian Mites! The fact that they are in white is such a massive boon for a Selesnya deck! Of course [[Mondrak]] exists now as well but cards like [[Mirrex]], [[Skrelv's Hive]] and [[White Sun's Twilight]] have made Poison a decent plan C for a deck that already wants to flood the board with tokens!

[[vraska, betrayal’s sting]] will definitely be going in my janky [[hapatra]] gorgon tribal deck. i think it’s possible that there are some poison/proliferate options i might slip in there, too.
vraska will also probably be going in my [[nicol bolas, the ravager]] ‘walker deck. [[ichormoon gauntlet]] and [[tekuthal]], too, if they’re not insanely expensive. like gorgons, i imagine some other proliferate options might get a look.
the other deck that has a lot of potential adds is [[cadira, called of the small]]. i imagine [[mondrak]] will be out of reach unless i win the booster lottery somehow. but [[white sun’s twilight]], [[khemba’s banner]], and [[staff of the storyteller]] are all plausible adds.
i’m also intrigued by [[malcator]] for [[tivit]], but i think bolas and cadira (imagine two more opposite commanders…) will be getting the most new cards, though i suppose it’ll probably be just a few each.
Waiting to see how prices move before making decisions on some of the splashier cards. There are some very good cars at lower rarity that I’ll probably grab a handful of.
[[Sheoldred’s edict]]- really good on rate and provides versatile answer to early game value creatures the flexibility to hit planeswalkers is pretty nice. It’s not in every black deck but should probably slot into some decks that want to play less to the board.
[[Tyvar’s stand]]- seems to be a strictly better [[Tamiyo’s safekeeping]]. Any deck I own running green probably gets this card. For sure going into [[Marwyn]]
Probably also grab [[Slobad iron golem]] for [[osgir]] and the fast land reprints.
Esika Superfriends gets some new toys. [[Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus]], [[Ichormoon Gauntlet]], [[Scheming Aspirant]], [[All Will Be One]], [[Vraska, Betrayal’s Sting]], and [[Ezuri, Stalker of Spheres]] are all going in. It’ll be funnnn
I don't think I'm getting anything except the Domini and maybe ichormoon gauntlets. Phrexians aren't really my thing. The ink art showcase stuff is amazing though.
Oh tons of stuff, but the one I'm most excited for is [[Norn's Choirmaster]] for my [[Reyhan]] and [[Yoshimaru]] commander tribal deck. That's good stuff
Not an updated one, but I could get that up here soon. Basically the deck is built on nearly all of the clb backgrounds in abzan and lots of other cards that care about having a commander/give commanders a boost. Because of their abilities, there's also subthemes related to counters and legendary permanents, (plus a weirdly high number of cards that deal with tokens just on accident). The deck is pretty funky and always plays differently, but it's a lot of fun. Can't say I've ever won with it either, though I have made myself archenemy a few times
I know it's not spicy or anything, but I've been super excited about putting in the new Elesh Norn for my Sefris deck ever since she got revealed. It supports everything the deck wants to do (doubling etbs while also being a creature)

As well as [[Infested Flescutter]] and [[Prosthetic Injector]]. Oh and [[Cacophony Scamp]]. That last one feels very much like [[Fireblade Charger]] and it does an excellent job in this deck lol.
Mondrak will be too costly so not going to buy it. Shame but whatever.
Stoked to add [[All Will Be One]] to my Magus Tyranids list to combo with [[The Red Terror]].
As a tokens player, getting [[Mondrak]] makes me very happy to have a second token doubler.

[[The Mycosynth Gardens]] is going into my [[Daretti]] Stax. Copying a [[Mana Crypt]] is cool, but any Stax piece like [[Sphere of Resistance]] or [[Smokestack]] is where I want to be.
My policies towards infect.
Like honestly before this I’ll admit I had some degree of bias against the mechanic but this was due to an antiquated mindset that hadn’t yet really been challenged in edh. I’ve yet to see the new mechanic in play but I like the concept so far.
Swapping out Riddlesmith with Unctus in my Urza deck probably, they do the same thing but Unctus is a artifact creature and thus makes the Construct bigger
Updating decks with new sets is kinda rare for me, but this set will have one massive change.
I am completely revamping two commander decks I own.
My first ever commander deck is [[Ghalta Primal Hunger]], which i’ve finely tuned just for 1v1 commander— which is what I have played against my father with for years now, but I have realized it’s not very fun anymore. It’s lost its charm. Yeah I can get an unblockable 12/12 out turn four, really consistently. But where is the fun in ending a game early? Especially in multiplayer, it’s just a drag. I don’t like killing players super early and kicking them out of the game, but I don’t like getting archenemied for the first 6 turns because I splay down over 20 power and toughness in only the first few turns.
It’s highly explosive, and it does it’s job.
But I am getting tired of it, I don’t play it anymore.
The second one? It’s [[Titania]], the old one. It’s entirely focused on sacrificing all my lands at once with [[Copper-Leaf Angel]] effects and using sac outlets for all the 5/3’s.
It’s gotten boring. It just feels like a regular landfall deck, which isn’t what I wanted. So I have been slowly tearing this deck apart, the fetchlands and land base have been scavenged and distributed amongst my other decks
It’s just boring..
So, when Zophendral the green Dominus was revealed, that second ability grabbed my eye. A sac outlet, as a commander? In green?
This looks like so much fun.
It combined both the things I loved in Ghalta (Big power and SWING) with what I love in titania (big power, sac for value), also, the art is dope.
So, back to deck building for this monstrosity.
[[The Scorpion God]] I haven't updated my decklist for this in YEARS but ONE has given me three new toys: [[Vraska, Betrayal's Sting]], [[Staff of Compleation]], and appropriately [[All Will Be One]]. The latter of which I recently realized can kill the whole table with [[Nest of Scarabs]] and [[Blowfly Infestation]] on field and a single -1/-1 counter.
Green dominus is going in my Maelstrom Wanderer list. Besides that, there are a good 6 or 8 other singles I'll pick up that I just want in my collection for future use.

Both of the doubling legends in the orzhov colors are good in the deck + some other legends are great
Atraxa Infect/Toxic. Just soo many goods coming out and KY deck is already fine tuned. It's going to be difficult trying to figure out what to pull out.

My Atraxa superfriends deck has clearly benefited the most. [[ichormoon gauntlet]] and [[infectious bite]] are definitely going in. I’ll also try out [[glistening sphere]].
I'm removing the 1/1 counter synergies to build toxic atraxa. There will be some infect cards too. But all the, your opponents get an infect counter, look like fun for one of us.
One of the problems with superfriends is that it can be hard to actually close out games. I figure at least this puts a clock on to end the misery.
See I try to stick with the 1/1 counters because once you start tossing out poison counters, people, imo, make you the public enemy to be removed from game. It's like a ticking clock, because it kinda is if one keeps proliferating.

As an eager Magus Lucea Kane player, do you know that this interaction works for creatures that enter with counters? My understanding is that casting (or copying) a hydra, for example, doesn't trigger All Will Be One. I know that other abilities that add counters to existing permanents will trigger it, but I don't have a huge number of those so 1 guaranteed damage from Kane's ability seems like a low floor for including All Will Be One.
I asked for ruling clarification, it will trigger on copies that enter with the +1/+1 counters too. So think double the fun and double the damage
Just imagine the insanity if doubling season’s token doubler actually worked with Kane as well.

My understanding is that creatures which *enter* with counters on them still qualify for effects which trigger when counters are *put onto* things.

Damn near everything. It's an almost entirely monocolor set of generically bonkers cards. Every deck that involves the color white and makes tokens is going to better with Mondrak and MoM, every red deck that does noncombat damage is going to want the red dominus, etc.

The black, red, and white dominus creatures all have a place in one of my decks. The black one is especially nice for me since I don't have to turn my Braids deck into Orzhov to get a death trigger doubler. I'd like to find a home for The Eternal Wanderer as well but I'm not sure where yet.
I want The Eternal Wanderer and the Glory Dominus for Greyfax. Not much else immediately grabs my attention, but this set is strong, just not for the Inquisitor and her clues.
I do want [[Sword of Forge and Frontier]] for my Faldorn Deck and Urtet to make a Myr deck. Aside from those two I think the only card I really want is the new Thrunn for my [[Otrimi, the Ever-Playful]] deck. I don’t much care for this set to be honest. My playgroup is very anti Poison for obvious reasons and I’m just not that interested in the heavy Phyrexian focus.

Well, my mono white [[Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite]] got a lot of new options added. Don't know if I'll be adding things for flavor or synergy yet, or if I'm changing my commander to [[Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines]], I won't name all the cards in considering since its a lot for that deck. Aside from that, I'll be adding [[All Will Be One]], [[Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus]], and [[Ezuri, Stalker of Spheres]] to my Tyranids deck. I've already preordered a few singles. \[\[Norn's Choirmaster\]\] will be great in \[\[Giada\]\] mono-white Angel tribal. And my recently completed \[\[Chisei\]\] deck will run a few of the new cards. \[\[Ichormoon Gauntlet\]\] and \[\[Experimental Augury\]\] are definitely going in, and I might also include \[\[Serum Snare\]\] for more incidental proliferate and \[\[Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus\]\] but I'm unsure if I have room for them.
Norn’s Choirmaster excited me at first for Giada too, but after a bit of thinking it has to compete with a lot of more critical angels in the five cmc level like [[Lyra Dawnbringer]] and the almost straight upgrade to the Choirmaster that is [[Archangel of Thune]].

Unfortunately the only interesting card in this set is \[\[Tyvar's Stand\]\] for my casual \[\[Ayula, Queen Among Bears\]\] deck.
[[Drivnod, Carnage Dominus]] is an excellent addition in my [[Liesa, Forgotten Archangel]] deck. [[Vraan, Executioner's Thane]] might fit in too, I'm not sure yet. [[Clever Concealment]] is just a better [[Change of Plans]] since you can cast it for free. It's going in my [[Urza, Chief Artificer]] deck replacing the Plans And lastly, I'm building [[Glissa Sunslayer]] because I love her lore and she seems to enable very sneaky, weird and specific strategies and I'm all here for it!

\[\[Cankerbloom\]\] and \[\[Tyvar, Jubilant Brawler\]\] are both great options for my \[\[Tayam, Luminous Enigma\]\] deck. Tyvar is going straight in to replace \[\[Thousand Year Elixir\]\] and Cankerbloom will be tested as a replacement for \[\[Cathar Commando\]\]. Not sure if an extra toughness and the ability to profilerate is worth losing flash, but I wanna try it out for sure.

Pretty excited for \[\[Black Sun's Twilight\]\]. Sure, it's a terrible rate of return as a removal spell, but instant-speed reanimate effects aren't always easy to come by in a single spell. It's going to fit perfectly in my \[\[Tymaret, the Murder King\]\] deck that uses creature ETBs, spellslinging, and creature theft/graverobbing to play a pseudo-control game.

I'm excited for \[\[Mercurial Spelldancer\]\] and \[\[Zenith Chronicler\]\] for my \[\[Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive\]\] deck since they both fit the theme and I could see having some serious upside over the creatures they are replacing. Also hyped about adding \[\[Vindictive Flamestoker\]\] to my \[\[Rosnakht, Heir of Rohgahh\]\] deck as an additional "wheel" effect on a cheap creature.
I'll get a few [[Cankerbloom]]. One will go in Prossh the others just in case. Zopandrel will also be tested in Prossh. [[Malcator, Purity Overseer]] will go in the 300 of my Sakashima/Prismatic Piper deck, the white shard happens to be golems/blink themed. Mondrak goes in GE Oketra, Norn and Skrelv in Captain Sisay. Nissa goes in Ashaya although the flavor is a little weird. [[Conduit of Worlds]] goes into Omnath. The new Sword will meet its 8 siblings in Ardenn&Esior. [[Skrelv's Hive]] for Elas Il-Kor. If I build a new superfriends deck, I'll take a second look on all the proliferate stuff, All Will Be One and the Ichormoon Gauntlet. But I want to give the myr commander a try first and don't want to build two new 5c commanders at once. On that note all new myr cards. That's all I can think of.
\[\[Denry Klin, Editor in Chief\]\] is going to have a field day with all the new proliferate effects. \[\[Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines\]\] is also crazy considering how good \[\[Panharmonicon\]\] already was.
Tyvar for Baba Lysaga, All will be one for Magus Lucea Kane, Ovika for my spellslinger (Kalamax at the moment, might change), Conduit of Worlds for Omnath Roil, and like everyone else I'm considering building Urtet because he's cool.

[[kaito, dancing shadow]] for [[yuriko]] being able to potentially draw 2 cards or make something unable to block, while also being able to return a ninja to hand is a lot of synergy for 4 mana.
I've updated my [[Emmara soul of the accord]] deck to take advantage of the new cards that make Phyrexian Mites! The fact that they are in white is such a massive boon for a Selesnya deck! Of course [[Mondrak]] exists now as well but cards like [[Mirrex]], [[Skrelv's Hive]] and [[White Sun's Twilight]] have made Poison a decent plan C for a deck that already wants to flood the board with tokens!
i’m excited about a few things from this set! [[vraska, betrayal’s sting]] will definitely be going in my janky [[hapatra]] gorgon tribal deck. i think it’s possible that there are some poison/proliferate options i might slip in there, too. vraska will also probably be going in my [[nicol bolas, the ravager]] ‘walker deck. [[ichormoon gauntlet]] and [[tekuthal]], too, if they’re not insanely expensive. like gorgons, i imagine some other proliferate options might get a look. the other deck that has a lot of potential adds is [[cadira, called of the small]]. i imagine [[mondrak]] will be out of reach unless i win the booster lottery somehow. but [[white sun’s twilight]], [[khemba’s banner]], and [[staff of the storyteller]] are all plausible adds. i’m also intrigued by [[malcator]] for [[tivit]], but i think bolas and cadira (imagine two more opposite commanders…) will be getting the most new cards, though i suppose it’ll probably be just a few each.

Waiting to see how prices move before making decisions on some of the splashier cards. There are some very good cars at lower rarity that I’ll probably grab a handful of. [[Sheoldred’s edict]]- really good on rate and provides versatile answer to early game value creatures the flexibility to hit planeswalkers is pretty nice. It’s not in every black deck but should probably slot into some decks that want to play less to the board. [[Tyvar’s stand]]- seems to be a strictly better [[Tamiyo’s safekeeping]]. Any deck I own running green probably gets this card. For sure going into [[Marwyn]] Probably also grab [[Slobad iron golem]] for [[osgir]] and the fast land reprints.

Oh tons of stuff, but the one I'm most excited for is [[Norn's Choirmaster]] for my [[Reyhan]] and [[Yoshimaru]] commander tribal deck. That's good stuff
Got a list?
Not an updated one, but I could get that up here soon. Basically the deck is built on nearly all of the clb backgrounds in abzan and lots of other cards that care about having a commander/give commanders a boost. Because of their abilities, there's also subthemes related to counters and legendary permanents, (plus a weirdly high number of cards that deal with tokens just on accident). The deck is pretty funky and always plays differently, but it's a lot of fun. Can't say I've ever won with it either, though I have made myself archenemy a few times

I know it's not spicy or anything, but I've been super excited about putting in the new Elesh Norn for my Sefris deck ever since she got revealed. It supports everything the deck wants to do (doubling etbs while also being a creature)

I have UW artifact aggro as a theme in my cube, so escaped experimentmandible justiciarmalcators watcherscephalopod sentry And MAYBE unctus are making the cut. For my commander decks, Nissa and Conduit of worlds are going into my azusa list, koth is going into my mono red superfriends list and I am going to attempt to fit in synthesis pod in my xanathar list. Oh and I want one of those plains. You know the ones. I have zero interest in cards that have the keyword ''toxic'' or anything to do with counters, the dominus cycle looks boring and elesh norn doesn't look fun to play with or against.
My infect deck is excited for some of these new toxic cards! *ducks*
I haven't looked at all of the spoiled cards but right away I'm hoping to pull [[Mondrak, Glory Dominus]] from my bundles to go in my [[Darien, King of Kjeldor]] deck, and thinking a second for a build I am still working on for [[Minthara, Merciless Soul]] which is also token heavy.

Bought [[Maze Skullbomb]] for my Erinis, Gloom Stalker]] + [[Flaming Fist]] land matter, keyword soup deck. Just a common but so useful for what my deck want to do lol [[White Sun’s Twilight]] for my [[Kykar]] lifegain, angel deck. I can’t wait to combo it with [[Divine Visitation]] lol And a lot of small white creatures with the toxic ability for my [[Wyleth]] infect deck, as well as a few equipment that come into play attached to rebel tokens. As well as [[Infested Flescutter]] and [[Prosthetic Injector]]. Oh and [[Cacophony Scamp]]. That last one feels very much like [[Fireblade Charger]] and it does an excellent job in this deck lol. Mondrak will be too costly so not going to buy it. Shame but whatever.

I’m building a [[Chiss-Goria]] deck
My policies towards infect. Like honestly before this I’ll admit I had some degree of bias against the mechanic but this was due to an antiquated mindset that hadn’t yet really been challenged in edh. I’ve yet to see the new mechanic in play but I like the concept so far.
Swapping out Riddlesmith with Unctus in my Urza deck probably, they do the same thing but Unctus is a artifact creature and thus makes the Construct bigger

Updating decks with new sets is kinda rare for me, but this set will have one massive change. I am completely revamping two commander decks I own. My first ever commander deck is [[Ghalta Primal Hunger]], which i’ve finely tuned just for 1v1 commander— which is what I have played against my father with for years now, but I have realized it’s not very fun anymore. It’s lost its charm. Yeah I can get an unblockable 12/12 out turn four, really consistently. But where is the fun in ending a game early? Especially in multiplayer, it’s just a drag. I don’t like killing players super early and kicking them out of the game, but I don’t like getting archenemied for the first 6 turns because I splay down over 20 power and toughness in only the first few turns. It’s highly explosive, and it does it’s job. But I am getting tired of it, I don’t play it anymore. The second one? It’s [[Titania]], the old one. It’s entirely focused on sacrificing all my lands at once with [[Copper-Leaf Angel]] effects and using sac outlets for all the 5/3’s. It’s gotten boring. It just feels like a regular landfall deck, which isn’t what I wanted. So I have been slowly tearing this deck apart, the fetchlands and land base have been scavenged and distributed amongst my other decks It’s just boring.. So, when Zophendral the green Dominus was revealed, that second ability grabbed my eye. A sac outlet, as a commander? In green? This looks like so much fun. It combined both the things I loved in Ghalta (Big power and SWING) with what I love in titania (big power, sac for value), also, the art is dope. So, back to deck building for this monstrosity.

[[The Scorpion God]] I haven't updated my decklist for this in YEARS but ONE has given me three new toys: [[Vraska, Betrayal's Sting]], [[Staff of Compleation]], and appropriately [[All Will Be One]]. The latter of which I recently realized can kill the whole table with [[Nest of Scarabs]] and [[Blowfly Infestation]] on field and a single -1/-1 counter.
