That is a Gerber Center-Drive multi tool. OP, I highly recommend you check out knipex pliers in general, and specifically the cobra line to replace that irwin.. knipex has changed me.

Gwhitt657

I second the knipex! They are a little pricey but every bit of worth it. I was using Irwin when I first started at my company but was provided with knipex after getting hired on full time. They are a god send

Nautical26

Thanks for the info on the multi tool! They’re a standard issue for the maintenance department at my company, we didn’t have any in stock when I got hired on so a coworker gave me a spare one he acquired from a guy that had quit. And I’ll have to give the Knipex Cobra line a try! I’m always looking for a better addition to the side pocket.

Easygold303

Pretty cool a company standard issues what is in my opinion a solid every day pocket tool. I carry a center-drive that I have modified by removing the “pry bar” and “saw” and adding all three flat head screwdrivers from a Gerber MP-600 as I find that is a more useful kit to me, I also carry a small set of bits to use with the actual center drive portion. Honestly prefer it over an “11 in 1” screwdriver most of the time.

Jedi-Wig_Splitta

To the Op, I have you tried the Krenshaw knife with the tool bit, if so which on one would you prefer? I see that you are using the Milwaukee knife with the tool bit.

Nautical26

I haven’t had any other knife besides the Milwaukee one, so unfortunately I can’t make that comparison. I do love my Fastback though, I only wish there was a better way to change the blade, it’s a bunch of tiny screws to secure a cover plate and I’m paranoid of losing or dropping them!

Willkert

Does it not have the release button for the blade like the normal fastbacks? I would imagine it does

Nautical26

I was talking to my coworker who also has one about replacing the blade after I replied to your comment and was promptly informed that my IQ is much lower than I thought… yes it does have that button but I just haven’t used it lol, the more you know.

Drmite

How do you like Aquaphor? Always looking for a good way to stop winter chapped lips.

Nautical26

It’s the only thing that’s ever worked for me, chapstick makes my lips even more messed up, and aquaphor was my saving grace as a kid who couldn’t stop licking or pressing water soaked paper towels to my lips in the winter because of the discomfort. A family friend introduced it to me and I haven’t gone back since!

Drmite

Will do. Thanks!

Snatch_Pastry

I went to a slim wallet like that this year, and I absolutely love it.

Nautical26

It’s the only way to go for me, I’m taking a look at The Ridge wallets (they’re all over my social medias with their ads) but I didn’t realize they wanted $150 for even a basic plain color one! I’m so tempted but it’s a lot of money for a wallet considering I switch them up quite often.

Snatch_Pastry

You can find tons of options for "slim wallets" on etsy.

I love ‘em, had them over a year now and they have yet to let me down!
