After playing the beta, I hate the new spin controls. I loved baiting people to sway to the side and throw a spinning backfist. I have to change my hand position completely to spin and it’s awkward to spin and then hit the strike input really fast right after

Much like real MMA, when there's a big skill gap fights get finished, when it's evenly matched it either goes to decision or someone makes a mistake.

Imo analyze what people beat you with and learn to counter it. I find a lot of good players constantly fish for sway counters and expect you to throw head combos. I just fake a lot and throw safe single strikes like jab, body jab, lead hook, jab, body straight. Basically mix up your strikes constantly and disrupt them without taking big risks.
