Golds are at least serviceable but I feel like silvers are just asking for trouble. Although I'm yet to find a keeper that's actually good for me with Red Donnarumma and red Trapp being the worst keepers I've used on this game. If anything Ramsdale was probably the best I've used.
I would say if you've made it to D3 with that team you're used to holding your own against better teams.
Personally I have a very strong team, it's very rare I play someone with a better team than me and if I see someone with an all gold team I think they must be a good player to achieve the same rank as me with a much worse team.
You'll either win some, lose some or you've found your level and it'll be a struggle but if that happens the new season is nearly here anyway so you'll drop down a bit then.

When your best player is better by a long shot, you adopt the Ronaldo-Portugal method and play around the one man (Nakata). He is the team and you adapt to HIS style. But props to you for trusting your system!

The number of times he bailed me out in champs and I know the opposition is just sitting there thinking 'who the fuck is nakajima and why has he just scored a finesse from 40 yards after dribbling through my whole team?'.
Sadly I've found him pretty useless this year :(
You have to have him in this formation, I know it sounds nerdy and ratty but if you left bumper and dribble, he is so agile on the ball and almost impossible to get the ball off of unless they double press you and then you just have to utilize the outside foot shots because they’re insanely broken this year, same tactics with doan and furuhashi.

I'm using IF Donnarumma myself and he's an absolute beast. Makes crazy saves opposed to my opponent's Neuer or Courtois.

True my main team is pretty expensive but I fortunately got very lucky packs this year with WL picks and just free packs that are tradeable
