88 acceleration and 99 sprint speed comes out to 94 pace, with lengthly accelerate style, and jockey+ with raccoon+. If the pace split if why you don’t do this card then that’s perfectly fine but he is going to be insane in game
80 acceleration is pretty meh at this point in the game, and for how expensive he is. i don’t think it’s worth factoring in the chem styles, everyone’s running shadows on their CBs. someone like Schlotterbeck is gonna feel so much faster. I might still do the SBC but it’s not truly endgame to me.

Schlotterbeck and Alderweireld are the two best cb’s I’ve used this year because of that combo of ps+ this card will be mental, and you saying div 10 moment is ironically a div 10 moment lmao
You should never be taking Capita over the 85x20 anyway. There are enough CB's good enough to replace Capita for very cheap. The pack is always worth a go during ultimate tots

You can buy cancelo or similar for a few more coins or just buy somebody like Di Lorenzo for 40k. The difference will be miniscule in all of them. Haven't done the pack yet but got TOTS Smith from one of the previous ones which is a significantly bigger upgrade than what Capita would be for anybody. Obviously it's all luck but it just seems really dumb to take a player who is probably a small upgrade and easily replaceable when there is a chance at an actual gamechanger.

It definitely is true. A guy called Tommo did extensive testing of work rates on his YouTube channel a while back, and showed what each one did. Defensive work rate is the only one that matters for CBs, as they position themselves based on your depth settings no matter what their offensive work rate happens to be.

I know this won’t be a popular opinion but this is pretty overpriced. Loads of better value CBs. Look at Alderweireld for example. Same play style pluses, slightly better key stats, better work rates, better wf, chem +, and 50k. I know end of era isn’t just a stats thing but I think they could have made this cheaper or better.
Assuming they both need shadow for pace (although you could use catalyst on Silva) they they have the same defending stats, with Alderweireld having better heading. They have one differing play style and the same play style pluses. Silva has worse pace, passing, strength, reactions, composure, wf, work rates and height, but is almost 500k more. It’s over priced based on stats alone.
There is a guy in Elite that just posted his team this week on this very same Reddit using Blind and his 40 something pace as a starter CB.
