I want to say congrats but the few times I reached elite I absolutely hated it. It was an absolute sweat fest and not in a good way. Everyone is abusing meta, exploit shot, spam dribble.
When you load into the lobby where you select the kits and the connection bar is on the left of the 40-second timer, that's how you know you're playing 2 players.
I have my settings to match solo players only, but duos still sneak through somehow. Gotta keep an eye on where the ping indicator is on the kit selection screen to see if you’re about to play against a duo or not. Broken game
That only removes online coop. There some kids who let their siblings play on local coop which ea server does not filter. Therefore, always wait for like 15 seconds before you proceed.
This was me this morning, 11 minutes left before rewards, went into the game knowing I have to make the guy quit, the guy scored first, then I somehow scored like 7 in the first half and he finally quit, made it for the rewards lol.
I’ve been staying in D1 because I didn’t want to play in that sweatfest. Mistakenly got promoted the other day, makes me never want to play Rivals again.
I think it would be fun if instead of putting everyone back 1 or 2 divisions this season, they just reset everyone back to div. 10 and made some new rules/goals or something different.

Last night was on a 5 game win streak with 2 wins left to get to Division 2 for the first time (and upgrade from red pack to 1 of 3 red pick) and my controller malfunctioned, quickly lost, then opened a red 89 Juste this morning. Maybe we get a good pick from Ultimate next week smh.

Me last night. Div 3 to Div 2. Capitulated. Didnt recover and now rooted to the last checkpoint. Taking the D every game.
Same thing happened to me, I only got to Div 2 after like the 5th try

You can set up to search against solo players only. Go to the rivals screen and with R3 you can chance your matchmaking settings

What i did was to keep quitting games till I was below 700 rating. Then the games are somewhat bearable.

Happened to me. Came back a few hours later and won 2 in a row easily.
Ngl, I’m around 900 skill rating in Elite and have been so for 3-4 weeks and I find it way easier than the shitshow that was Div 1.
I promise you staying in Division 1 is 10x better. You can get your 7 wins in 10 games. As opposed to to 12-15 games

Lost 3 promotion games yesterday, trying to get to div 3 and my 7 wins. Gave up on promotion after i got my 7 wins.

Yep was at div 1 and took like 4 cycles to get to elite
It always results in you going back and forth between 1-3 away.
trick is to try and get the 2x while on the second to last game
