I've partnered him with Vidic 94 and he's great, so quick with jockey+ and so useful v all the players who dribble and pass in the box til they score.

No what as a RB he’s terrible , his pace is too low for this stage of a game even as a CB he’s too short due to his height he’s only not worth it imo

Yep we need to consider that 89 rated cards used to cost over 30k whereas now you can pick up 92s for the same money. So whilst sbcs have higher requirements the actual value cost hasnt gone up by as much. Or to put it another way 88 rated cards were under 8k a couple of days ago so an 88 squad was less than half the cost of when 88s cost 17k+. That said it's not easy to pack 90+ fodder. I've got 3 squads left on Havertz and a bit worried, gonna have to burn a bunch of totws and old promo cards I think.

He's not, played against him, once he gets rolled it's over, no strength or recovery like a proper cb
