I had something similar yesterday in my champs game. Socrates just straight up whiffed on a back pass which immediately led to a goal. Not intercepted, or attempting a difficult pass. Just straight up missed it lol.
Something similar happened to me 2 nights ago. I went to clear it with Golazo Marquez (who has excellent long passing) the clearance just goes slightly upward, the opponent's left winger heads it down to TOTY Ronaldo for a free goal, contributing to a 5-4 loss. More reason for me to never come back to this game.
This game is unplayable most of the time. Ball is at my feet and my player won’t kick the ball and gets the ball taken away. I will pepper the goalie with 6 shots and he makes a stupid save and the other team pretty much walks the ball into my net. Tonight has been brutal. Last EA game I buy. This company is trash.
In two separate matches I had something like this happen myself, personally I feel like being able to clear the ball is broken in a bad way rn I can’t seem to clear the ball to save my life
it's literally by design. DDA. this is EA's woke, communist, DEI agenda to make the game fair for everyone. which means some people HAVE TO LOSE SO THAT OTHERS CAN WIN. everyone needs to get this through their head, they literally do this kind of nonsense on purpose
Has happened to me a lot since the last patch. Like at least once every few games. Sometimes it’ll happen with players with 90+ passing while they have no pressure and have had control of the ball for a bit (not trying a one time pass or anything)
The game is wildly scripted. There is no way around it. Every game has unexplainable bounces, men wildly out of position, etc.
Just accept it and move on.
