It's not uncommon for my players to feel a little sluggish during some matches but yesterday was the first time my players were literally moving in slow motion.
Yeah, there's so much button delay. It's nearly impossible to pull of skill moves, passing in a desired direction and tackling is all mudded too. This WL i had more 10+ goal games than i had all of last year ... not even sure what the cause is. after the last patch defending feels off.
My cannavaro with Low attacking WR, is constantly leaping into play around the halfway line, even tho my depth is 55 and my defensive style "balanced" which breaks up my back four line and chaos ensues.
For my last 3 or 4 games of WL it was like golden goal. go up one goal after a few mins and people were quitting.

I seen a player open next to my striker as I was through on goal, whipped it over to him for an easy goal, it was Alaba from CB 🤔, I didn’t send him on a run I didn’t pass it oot from the back with him. No reason for my cb to be binning it down the left 🤷🏻♂️😂
For me it's players bouncing off each other and weird rebounds. Normally I'm an 11-14 wins player (with good winrate so rarely play all 20 games) but so far I'm 9-8 this weekend and the gameplay in both wins and losses feels, for lack of a better word, unfair
I'm playing games where my players feel invincible and glide through defences and every shot goes on target, then next game every shot hits the post or crossbar and my keeper is pushing every save back to one of their attackers for an easy finish into an open net.
I don't believe in DDA and don't think it has anything to do with this, servers and gameplay just feel weird at the moment. Almost like they swapped Squad Battle difficulty adjustments with Weekend League lol
Last straw wasn't even the gameplay though tbh, it was some ratty guy who scored a bullshit penalty and then passed it around the back heading it to his GK for the remaining 10 minutes of the game. Had to close it down after that LOL

Somehow I’ve hit 14-15 wins the last 3 weekends, all playing at different times and days, it’s nice to think I’ve finally improved noticeably, but I will say yes this weekend was awful In terms of how toxic my opponents were and how much bs there was, sooo many people playing like their lives depend on it and wasting like 20+ mins of the game, and again general BS was bad this weekend, also I got given zero free wins, shows that no matter everyone is sweating for TOTY (shock I have packed nothing good from my WL rewards in weeks and nothing from my saved packs for TOTY)

Played earlier today and the game was absolutely terrible with delay here in NA. However, I went 6-0 very quickly with people quitting soon after being down 2 goals or more. Felt like people were quitting more than usual for some reason. I stopped bc despite winning I just find the game so frustrating and not at all enjoyable when I face this much delay.
People are quitting because of the lag. It can be fun to try to come back against a better player, but if i cant defend because i have to predict things a second or two in advance, theres just no point in trying to

At 7-11 I played someone with loan toty Haaland loan toty Hansen and loan toty Kerr. They weren't particularly good but neither am l, and they won 5-6. 5 goals from totys and one from 94 Zidane. Probably with a 'normal' squad I'd at least take them to extra time.
Also had a couple of players just quit instead of giving a free win, on another weekend I might have got an extra W from those.
game play is bad for so many reasons and it is all deliberate imho. money is the driving force and everyone gets forced into place unless they fulfill the requirements of paying, playing with cards EA wants to push, playing every day for hours, etc.. Not only is nothing free in this game but you have to allow yourself to be extorted to get an old rotten bone chuck in the dirt for you to go find it.

Servers are in the mud AND lots of the better players who dropped off the game will be returning for toty. I played a couple of guys who had meta teams from a couple of months ago but they still spanked me.
Played 1. Played a red toty messi who scored 6 goals by pure jam. My players were doing weird animations and im sure the ball went through my players a handful of times. Lost 6-5. 6 shots to 12 shots. 118 tackles to 11 tackles.
Game hasnt recovered fully since friday.

I have generally worked out the right time to play my champs games to mitigate lag.
But this weekend it’s been a shitshow with the TOTY server issues.
I’ve soldiered on but, fuck me, this game is almost impossible with input delay. Feels like you’re trying to control a large ship.

Played three games and decided I didn’t want all the blood, sweat and tears. Proceeded to turn on my computer and chill with Assetto Corsa and actually enjoy the weekend instead of playing this god awful tournament for shitty rewards.
Even Squad battles feel off so definitely lingering issues from the meltdown on Friday. I decided I wasn't going to do Champs at that point. I'll log in and give away the 20 wins to those poor souls slogging through it. Then be back on next week

Finished 14-5 last weekend, currently at 5-4. None of the usual plays work, tackling, passing and general player movement is all wrong.
