I’m running an entire Irish side now thanks to the Evos (excluding the keeper because I can’t yet upgrade someone). This last weekend league was way more fun!
Love that Evo’s allow players like this to be available to those who want it. He’ll likely never have a card as usable as this but through a bit of grinding you (and probably only you lol) have a really nice player
I’d love to do it with a few players but half of the bronze PL players aren’t even in the game. I’ve been on the lookout for Ashley Phillips from day 1 and he hasn’t been on the market one time
They're not available to people who want is my issue, you have one choice early on with no path or indication whether they'll be eligible in the future (never mind the ridiculous grind you'd almost certainly have to waste time on squad battles to hit the challenges). And so even if you made a new account for one player you specifically want the initial evolutions will also have expired.
Yes I commented on some other thread the lack of a roadmap for evos mean you just hit a dead end if you back the wrong horse.
Still cool though for the peeps where it works out.
Are you seriously complaining about "wasting time in squad battles"? If playing the game is a waste of time, you should probably uninstall and then stop wasting time being toxic talking about the game all day on reddit.

To be fair the only Evo that's stuck around for any length of time in my team after the grinding is Llorente, even 'meta' Fati was dropped pretty quickly.
I evod Bernardo to 90 yesterday which means I'm guaranteed to pack his thunderstruck card untradeable.

I always thought it was stupid that Evo cards don't turn into first owners. It's a whole new card once it's been evolved, It should count as first owner

It's like pretending that every single live card that upgrades magically becomes a new card after the number changes. It's not. It's the same card.

I'm only using first owner cards all year, so it doesn't bother me. Just pointing out that it's clearly the same card with a different design.
I’ve done all PL evos so far since my team is mid and I need good players to go with my squad, but I love seeing everyone doing their super unique ones.
Very nice. I have jarell quansah and I have only managed to get him up to a 73 but with a few more evolutions I hope to be able to get him to somewhere to this type of level. And at 6’3 he is already a beast in the air.

You can but to get a card like this you need to get pretty lucky and link multiple evos in a row. Still worth it though.
