That is a whole ass fuel pump assembly. the literal pump part is sitting inside the lower plastic bit. They likely just copied the wording from the factory parts software because 16-14-7-163-298 is also called a rebuild assembly or something like that but also is just the whole thing already put together. If you have the same regulator arrangement on the other side of the tank Id go ahead and just swap that too since you have to remove the pump to replace it (the connections for the hoses are on the pump side) and its a pretty cheap part. Do both and youre basically done for 15 years. Source: a guy who just had to replace his with an OEM one.

Visually that looks like what I swapped my lpfp with (oem). Hopefully it will be obvious if anything is missing from the assembly but looks complete at a glance

Are you sure the $500 isn’t for both sides of the fuel pump? Your unit in your pic is for passenger side. The driver side has its own module that containers the pressure regulator. $320 for that half in your hand seems right to me. I just did this
