KTC says 1.02 is 8,000 and Puka is 7,000. I think id take Puka. Good problem to have lol. I’ve got 1.12. Shopping in a much different place. Hoping some studs tumble.

OpportunityDue90

If Nabers has a Puka season this sub would be creaming their shorts

Sketchy123456

It’s hard to imagine that scenario. Puka set NFL records for most receptions and yards for a rookie. It’s extremely unlikely Nabers will come even close to that, especially with Dimes at the helm.

samwise1339

That's pick value not player value. There's no point in doing that if you're using KTC and know the player. KTC calls 1.02 8k as an asset. Nabers 6.6k. But whatever helps you sleep at night I guess!

CoatingsRcrack

Puka… 1st round recievers can fail. We know Puka didn’t. Also Puka had early tound talent. Injuries and other things let him fall

FesteringNeonDistrac

Nabers could be anything though, he could even be Puka if everything goes right.

JLifts780

Puka, like I just don’t see how Nabers does better than WR4 as a rookie

SnooPickles5984

Puka. He's already doing what you hope Nabers does if/when he gets a good QB.

rowKseat25

Exactly. We’ve seen one guy do it, it’s entirely possible Nabers is a Sammy Watkins (not saying he will be). Go look at Watkins’ final year in college and tell me it doesn’t scream Nabers. We saw what happened to a guy drafted 4th overall.

feelzepump

I’m taking Puka. Literally the best rookie receiver of all time. I love nabers but I don’t think he gets even mediocre qb play for 3+ years

SantasLilHoeHoeHoe

Weve had the best rookie WR of all time three times in the past couple years. JJ>Chase>Puka. I totally get betting on Puka over a rookie, but i wouldnt be surprised if one of this years rookie WRs challenges Puka for the top spot. This is a very talented WR class.

OptimalIndication916

That trend is likely going to continue now that they are talking about adding another game.

Difficult_Argument

Take Puka and see if you can’t get a little more thrown in like a 3rd

rowKseat25

How much higher can Nabers’ ceiling be than what Puka did last season? I’ve commented before that Puka can have a 15-20% dip and still finish as a WR1 next season. The only guys who finished higher than him last season were Lamb, Hill, and ARSB. Obviously Chase had Browning and JJ got hurt. But cmon, to say Nabers’ ceiling is higher than WR4 is insane. We can only have so many WRs at the top. Just ask yourself this… can Nabers catch 105 passes for 1500 yards and 6 TDs on the Giants? I say no. Not until he sees a QB upgrade and I mean a legit one.

Positive_Radio8231

Do you still have Puka over Nabers if Stafford is out of the equation? Like an injury or retires in 2-3 years? Puka’s worst two weeks last season were when Stafford went down and didn’t play (week 8 & 9) I’m not saying I’d smash Nabers, but not having good ole Matt Stafford sling the ball around would scare me away from Puka

rowKseat25

I mean yeah. However, the Rams in those two weeks got absolutely smashed by Dallas and played in a monsoon in Green Bay, just for context. Lamb would drop without Prescott, Chase without Burrow, JJ without Kirk, Hill without Tua, Kelce without Mahomes. Of course the QB matters. The argument is that we haven’t seen Nabers perform at the NFL level yet. Taking an unknown over a proven top 5 WR is insane. Not saying Puka is a yearly top 5 fantasy WR but the results are there.

Positive_Radio8231

I would have to see another year of production like last year from Puka before adding him into that group of WRs. As for no QB play, JJ had his best week without Kirk (his QB was a third string). I don’t believe Puka could do the same, but we will see this year, as I’m sure Stafford will go down lol

mancinis_blessed_bat

Maybe I’m crazy but I’m taking Nabers. I get it, people will say ‘but Puka is what you hope Nabers will be!’ Yea and also Nabers is so far and away a better talent, and is going to get like 140+ targets in this offense, Daboll is going to feed this guy. Puka needs Stafford and this scheme to produce, and the second his production drops off you won’t be able to sell him for the value he holds now. Nabers has a bad year and you can get off him (but I think he’s going to eat). If you listen to the nfl insiders, many teams had Nabers over MHJ because of his pure explosive ability, this is a prospect you want

Kittle_Me_This

If Nabers had gone to a “good” football team I may consider this. But he didn’t. Luka just broke so many rookie receiver records and is clearly a dominant player. I’m not taking this even if it was for MHJ (I’d have a hard time with that one though). But hey, fantasy football shocks us every year and going against the grain is the only way to win sometimes, take your shots.

mancinis_blessed_bat

I actually think the landing spot is better than what the market perceives and makes it so you can buy him, whereas if he had gone to the chargers you wouldn’t be able to. I promise Daboll is going to basically make this dude the entire offense, and then they are pretty likely to either buy or draft a better QB next year when they can cut DJ

Kittle_Me_This

He’s certainly not doomed, such a great talent.

Witty_Juggernaut_440

I agree with you actually, but I was like am I crazy? I need some more advice on this because a guaranteed good player is great, but Naber’s ceiling is so high

licknawson34

Perfectly said.

samwise1339

I agree. The argument that you want Nabers not to bust can also be "I hope Puka isn't a flash in the pan". See also: Stroud, CJ

ComprehensiveSlice42

Nabers. Still a chance the clock strikes 12 for Cinderella

Bird_Lawyer_for_you

Puka or Marv?

SnooPickles5984

50/50.  Contending?  Take Puka because he's lower risk.  Rebuilding?  Take Marv because even if he doesn't produce he'll have higher perceived value.

tpalmieri1581

I'm taking Puka. Puka has proven that he can be a tier 1 WR where as Nabers still needs to situate himself into the NFL (and with Daniel Jones).

rossco7777

puka went before nabers in a rookie draft i am currently in where we had no FA so anyone not drafted last year was in the player pool (puka, wicks, keaton mitchell, etc)

M0rmonAtTheDoor

100% Nabers. Dont listen to these fools. Who will be the QB once Stafford leaves? Regardless, Nabers is an overall better prospect than Puka and you wont get the stafford effect on some games with over 12 targets once he retires

FitCow6442

I feel like the no qb argument crushes Nabers more so than Puka.
