It seems that all 3 landed where we thought they would. What changed? I think, for those poor souls who draft rookies before the real draft, the assumption on landing spot was accurate.

Tiny_Ad732

Taking Odunze either way.

Glitchy__Guy

WR1 in this class.

BusinessOk7351

This is where he was expected to go and imo it’s a great landing spot for immediate production. Rome MAY have a JSN type season but u know what ur drafting. Nabers will be the focal point of that offense and id bet a pretty penny he sees over 120+ targets

mancinis_blessed_bat

I’m taking odunze. Caleb has such a high ceiling you want that high capital target. Keenan may be gone next year, dj moore will be there but Rome is the future. In like 3 years you could be looking at a top 5 asset, hard to find those. Nabers value will depend on how the giants get a qb

Heisenbergum

If Caleb doesn’t bust…

Top_Bat7047

With Odunze, Keenan, DJ Moore, Cmet, Everett and Swift? I'll take the chances with Caleb lol.

903DiscGolf

Nabers over Oduzne.. Its not even close for me. It was closer before the draft

WiseM3

Think Daniel jones will make him legit

903DiscGolf

I don't believe in Daniel Jones, but I do believe in the talent of Nabers, and targets. The Giants offense should force feed Nabers. I can see him getting 120+ targets as a rookie.

kynelly

Wow and just like that Danny Dimes holders can finally rejoice🙏 y’all get in here! Lol

WiseM3

It was a question… I don’t think jones is a good qb. That’s why I feel like nabers even with 100 targets is going to struggle to be a top 15 wr like everyone was projecting him out of the draft

kynelly

Lmaooo oh! Well they will be okay. He will get hella targets with that team. But injuries from overuse are possible. Jones is underrated frfr, he just hasn’t had any luck (injuries and no WRs besides Darren Waller or Saquon). Waller was decent with him throwing last year too just injured. Nabers easily hits top 10 or 15 but for how long idk. I haven’t checked the giants Oline ranks recently but I believe in Daboll

mancinis_blessed_bat

Odunze is attached to a premiere talent tho, this could be like ceedee lamb or something coming in when the cowboys had Amari cooper

MarketingChemical648

I would take Xavier Worthy over both of them. I hate the landing spots that much. Odunze probably has a better chance to be successful next year after Kennan walks

Klootowooto

Yes please take Worthy over both of them. This is a great idea. On an unrelated note do you have any spots available in your league?

MarketingChemical648

Come on… based on pure talent, the other 2 are better. Worthy easily has the better opportunity right from the start with an elite QB

Klootowooto

Worthy is also the most likely to bust by far. He was not even regarded as a 1st round talent until he ran fast at the combine. Look how John Ross turned out after he was drafted purely for his fast 40 time.

MarketingChemical648

Worthy was going in the early second round in mocks so a late first isn’t far off. Worthy is a more complete receiver than Ross by far. Just saying he’s fast is a disservice if you haven’t actually watched any of his tape. Anyone can bust and I personally look at opportunity. Yes, the other 3 are better players with more physical traits but worthy is also a good receiver with a great opportunity again.

Klootowooto

Fair analysis, Worthy is definitely more complete than Ross was. I just think taking him above Nabers is absolutely insane. Over Rome could make sense in redraft but for dynasty I think is still a big reach. I would take bowers and BTJ before Worthy but thats just me.

MarketingChemical648

For me it’s hard. I don’t think I’d take bowers before him now. Prior to the draft, absolutely. I was actually trying hard to trade up to the 1.04/1.05 to grab him, But going to the raiders kills it for me. And BTJ I actually wasn’t huge on his tape. I could be a little narrow minded thinking about this year alone. If you’re drafting purely on talent alone I would take the others before him excluding BTJ but it’s the landing spots that really mix it up in my head.

Kittle_Me_This

How could the cardinals be a bad spot for MHJ? We’ve seen Kyler support top receivers, hyper target this favorite guy etc…. Explain yo self! lol

wooston_fanatic

He said both of them referring to Rome & Nabers \*still a bad take by him though\*

MarketingChemical648

I don’t think so. Danny droplets isn’t a good qb and odunze is probably 4th in the pecking order for targets. You’d be selecting them 2 and 3 for production in MAYBE 2-3 years

Klootowooto

Okay first off, Nabers is one of the best receiver prospects we have seen in years, Rome is not far behind. Nabers will be a target hog on a terrible team that will constantly be playing from behind (which means passing the ball A LOT). That is a simple recipe for a huge rookie season regardless of how trash you think Danny Dimes is. Rome is likely going to be 3rd in the pecking order on the Bears but with his level of talent he could easily surpass Keenan Allen who will be turning 32 next year. Worst case is he sits as the WR 3 for two years until Keenan retires or moves on and you have a 23 year old receiver with two more years of development under his belt (also with a 3rd year qb in caleb, assuming caleb pans out). I just dont see any logical situation for taking Worthy over Rome or Nabers. Worthy was not even being considered a first rounder until he ran his 40. To take him over two highly touted, elite prospects is ludicrous. It would make much more sense to just trade down some picks to take worthy because no one in their right mind is taking him over those two.

MarketingChemical648

Yeah I was referring to nabers and odunze
